Alex’s body turned Silver as he flew past the cars, racing towards the shell heading their way.

Alex let out a furious growl as e punched forward! An eruption shook the skies as Alex landed gracefully, gazing at the distant buildings with a stern look on his face! His actions left the enemy forces slightly puzzled, halting their attacks and ultimately giving his forces a chance to organize their retreat.
“Alex...” One sword’s voice rang in his ears like a bell but Alex didn’t seem to pay attention.
“Stay back... I will provide cover... Retreat... I will definitely make it back with no sweat! ” Alex said casually in an attempt to calm their minds.
Especially that of Tracy...
The brief pause lasted barely five seconds before the sounds of rockets firing rocked the skies again but this time they were all aimed at Alex.
Just as planned, Alex knew his appearance would gain the attention of the enemy. The reward and fame for killing a Briggs are far beyond their self-control! Alex could tell they were practically drooling while pulling the trigger!

“What the hell was that?” One sword gasped in shock! That attack was equivalent to an attack from a B-rated guardian!
“Stop now! We need to help him!” Tracy cried out with reddened eyes but One sword ignored her.
The locations of all the enemies were yet to be confirmed so running out Is stupid!
“Retreat! I wish you luck, young master” One sword barked an order and then bowed respectfully at Alex’s image on the screen.

Alex spat out a mouthful of blood as he struggled to rise to his feet. His eyes were on the numerous shells heading his way and a bitter smile appeared on his face.
They all want to kill him?

Alex’s gaze remained pinned on the floor as his eyes turned black and he used his gravity powers to slightly shift the trajectory of all the attacks aimed at him! They all landed around him but none got close enough to hurt him, leaving everyone shocked.
What kind of unnecessary good fortune is this?
Meanwhile, Alex didn’t even bother to dwell on the thought! He got too hurt to dodge so he stood gallantly waiting for the second beam to appear.

The powerful beam shot again, racing towards Alex at a frightening pace. Without hesitation Alex let his fingertips run across the demon bat daggers, turning his skin black while he cast the silver statue technique, covering his black skin with silver armor.

This time Alex wasn’t outrightly blown away. His body slid back while his feet dug deeper into the ground. His eyes lit up with fighting spirit as the beam smashed into his palms. Alex felt like a truck was dropped on his hands and he was asked to carry it.
What he found shocking was that he was silently absorbing the blue beam, reducing the pressure on him but even then the pressure reduced was negligible and it didn’t take long before his body got saturated by the excess energy absorbed!

Alex let out a furious cry as he struggled to get back on his feet! His eyes were like cold daggers as he gazed at the shells heading his way and he showed no fear!
He was ready and willing to accept what follows next but then he heard a familiar voice which made his heart of stone tremble!
“You have done enough little brother... Leave the rest to me!” A calm but vicious voice boomed across the sky, getting everyone’s attention!
