59 Chapter 59: Tracy’s Strange behavior
The thought of this sent shivers down Alex’s spine. As someone who aimed to betray the Briggs family and form a new family, if something like this should happen only death awaits him. Thinking about it, he was stunned by the power of the gold tier combat techniques and wondered about the origin of these martial techniques strong enough to suppress the genes of a person. He knew little about the origin of the demon-kin secret art but he knew that any power that can make a man a superhuman just from practicing it is not normal. It’s so strong that the offspring of all those who practiced it is born with the defensive genes only capable of practicing that secret technique.
This is the power only a gold-tier martial technique can have.
“Don’t be dumb, that doesn’t mean any member of the Briggs who goes through this project power will be granted two abilities... It is still a fifty-fifty percent chance... It boils down to if the person in question has the potential to be a deviant in the first place.. You are lucky, the others may not be too lucky” Tracy responded as she saw the terrified look on Alex’s face.
Without being told, she could already tell what was going through Alex’s mind.
“It’s not that, I just couldn’t help but imagine a world where Wilder Briggs has two deviant abilities” Alex said with a bitter smile on his face.
Hearing this, everyone in the room shivered in fear and shot Alex a meaningful glance. If something like this should happen, Wilder will most likely become a god amongst men. No one will be able to go against him! This is no different from a death sentence.
“What now?” Alex asked.
Having Tracy as an ally will greatly improve their overall strength but right now he didn’t know what to do next, his head was too jumbled up for him to come up with a plan.
“You rest first while you tell me everything that happened with the mutant demon bat...” Tracy said as she walked toward Alex and held his hand.

She wanted to pull him to the bed but then her face turned red and she quickly let go of Alex and backed him. Alex was stunned by this action but he was too tired to think much about it. He quietly climbed the bed and began narrating the story. He left nothing out, including his super mode and attempt at killing Jason Brown.
“After listening to all of this I have concluded that you are fucked... How the hell did you antagonize someone like that and still fail to kill him... This level of incompetence is legendary” Silver said with a confused look on his face.
“I tried but his healing abilities are far stronger than we thought... He regrew a limb! When I was done with him, he was riddled with holes and crushed... I fucking used him as a weapon yet h mass survived” Alex said bitterly.
“It’s okay, we will deal with it... Just rest and focus on your training... Master the second stage of the demon-kin martial art... The stronger you are, the stronger we become” Tracy said calmly as he occasionally glanced at the golden scroll on the bed.
She felt tempted to open it but she held back. She already knew this is just a copy and even if we open it, she won’t be able to learn it. Skipping the first stage and jumping straight to the second stage is simply a death wish.
“Since we are forming a new family we need a name...” Alex said calmly.
“Damn it... I never thought of that” Silver said with a painful look on his face.
“We will come up with that when the time comes, for now, you need to let me treat your wounds” Tracy said to Alex.
“And you, I believe you have things to do” she said to Silver.
With that Silver left the room to an unknown location, leaving Alex and Tracy alone. Tracy pulled out a white suitcase and from it, she pulled out a syringe with the same green liquid inside but this time thicker.
“Volts technology... Nanobots will be sent down your bloodstream from which they spread across your body and find the injures sustained, including hidden ones..” Tracy said calmly.
“You don’t have to explain to me... I trust you” Alex said calmly before shutting his eyes.
Unknown to him, Tracy’s face was bright red already. As she injected Alex, she gazed at his far, realizing how good looking he is. Long pitch black hair with the perfect far shape, strong jaws, and light pink lips. With his eyes shut tight, he looked peaceful and Tracy felt the urge to lean over and give him a kiss.
She could still remember the images of Alex fighting Wilder for them. She developed feelings for the man who could provide her with things she lacked. Alex is good looking, smart, strong, and also has scary potential, with his current potential he is bound to make it to the Ss ratings or even farther. To think that someone with all of this would be willing to throw it all away just to protect her.

She tried to arrange her thoughts. She is Silver’s big sister who is about two years older. This also meant she is two years older than Alex as well. She tried playing the pictures of her and Alex together in her head but it also felt wrong.
“If you wanna sleep here I can move and make space for you,” Alex’s voice mads Tracy jump in surprise!.
She quickly picked up her things and ran out of the room while Alex watched. He gazed at her strangely, wondering why she has been acting strange today but after a while, he decided not to dwell on the thought.
Alex picked up the golden scroll and went through it. The more he read the more amazed he became! The second stage of the demon-kin secret technique is quite different from what he expected.
