410 Sin of Greed
Alex stood alone in the distant space with his eyes shut tight and with the target found, he frowned deeply as if it wasn’t what he was expecting. His eyes were like that of any normal person but he was able to see the God vein perfectly even from this distance.
It felt like a thick veil surrounded the entire planet and its mana-less condition was abnormal but he didn’t seem to care.
His eyes showed no hesitation as he vanished and the next moment he was above the God’s vein and looking deeply at the sole massive continent on the entire planet but it was surrounded by various types of aura, causing the demon lord to frown.
“So many deities gathered in one spot? Could this be the problem Eve spoke of?” Alex muttered with a frown.

Just as Alex was about to make a move he felt his consciousness fade as it was dragged into a dark world forcefully!

Alex exhaled heavily as he found himself in a dark world. He remained rather calm as he turned his attention to the lone figure seated in a cross-legged position with invisible chains bound to his hands and legs.
It was a youthful man with long black hair which could even drag across the ground if he should stand. He was dressed in plain dark robes and for a man bound by chains, he exuded an air of calmness and dominance.

“To be able to drag me in here considering your condition… You must be strong” Alex said with cold eyes.
This was probably the only person Alex has met that would dare glare at him directly in the eyes without fear.
“Who are you?” The young lad asked with indifference in his eyes. It was like a master demanding an answer from a servant.
“You are not qualified to know…” Alex responded without hesitation with his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
He had no regard for this young lad or his powers. In fact, the look in his eyes was that of a superior being looking down on an inferior one.
“You have balls…. So many people keep getting bold lately and it’s getting on my nerves” the youth hissed.
“You should focus on protecting yourself first before entertaining the thought of dealing with me” Alex responded with a casual look on his face.
“I have been sent to retrieve you. Stay alive and well until I come to take you, child!”
Buzzz!
Saying this, Alex’s aura exploded surging madly as his black energy took the shape of a mass of darkness with countless mouths and black holes spinning within.
He gave off a very similar yet completely different vibe.
“Greed? Hmph! You have nothing on Gluttony!” His voice rang as his dark world crumbled and the demon lord was expelled.

Alex returned to the normal world with a frown. Who would have thought a day would come when someone can drag his consciousness into another world forcefully? All his life as a deity and a mortal combined. Only Eve has been able to do this, yet this kid who should be weaker than him did the same.
What was even more terrifying was the kid himself. Unlike he and Danny who stole as many powers as they could, the kid was a representation of this world. He may not possess as many cores as he and Danny but he felt far more complete and firm.
To think he would get so many reasons to be wary of someone he met the first time was even more frightening. Someone who carries the stench of death.
He returned his focus to the continent already colonized and fortified by the deities ruling this world.
Probably subordinates of Eve who decide to turn on her and use the God veins meant to be used to create new demon lords to strengthen themselves.
By entering the world Alex knew his power would be restricted to the mortal level and he won’t be able to do much alone.
“In this case, the only way out is to take my time and conquer this place. Kill the deities and extract the target” Alex frowned as he failed to understand why the Sin of Greed would dare hide amongst his foes.
Somewhere they would least expect him
One thing is certain, he has guts.
But then something else caught Alex’s attention. on what could be called a small island, orbiting the massive continent like the planets orbiting the sun.
Normally people wouldn’t be able to feel them but because he was already familiar with his target’s aura did he notice someone bearing a weaker yet identical aura.
His eyes narrowed as his vision zoomed and he could see an army below rallying under the owner of this aura.
Amongst the forces rallying around this youth were beings of various ages and sizes, supernatural even Dragons. He couldn’t hear what they were saying due to the veil surrounding the island.
“Found it!” Alex said with a delighted smile as he finally knew where to start!
Swoosh!
His body began free-falling to the God vein from space, shooting forward like a spear.
Xiu!
Boom!
Alex smashed into the first veil covering the planet and with immense black flames exploding from this body, he shattered it and shot into the planet!

Seeing the system notifications, Alex frowned but he didn’t stop. He felt like invisible chains were lashing onto his body but he didn’t let go. His cold eyes were pinned on the silver-haired youth who carried the aura of his target and his aura below. As long as he can get them to join him, he should be able to conquer that empire in a few years at most.

While the silver-haired youth was speaking to the army below a powerful explosion rocked the and the space above them began to tear violently. Everyone looked toward the sky with deep frowns on their faces as they waited to see what dared to invade this place.
