326 Strange Weapons!

“Sharyn must be replaced as the representative of the Deity race. I think her grandfather would do a better job. We need someone who isn’t short-sighted and allows her judgment to be clouded by her emotions!” Silver sneered.

Hearing this, Alex frowned deeply but said nothing. Not because he didn’t want to but because he couldn’t.

Silver was right so he couldn’t refute his words. For five years they have prolonged their plans of launching a counterattack on the invaders because of Sharyn. For five years, Alex has been pinned to earth and forced to stand by her side as the ruler of the three realms. This is the time he would have used to find ways of upgrading his other strength.

In his eyes, he also believed Sharyn has lost the right to speak against their plans but that doesn’t mean he would let Silver walk all over her and his son, Creed.

The strange saying about two tigers on one mountain flashed through Alex’s mind and he frowned. He has been unmoved by any of these possible allegations because the successors of both positions of guardian and God will be occupied by his sons.

Even though Little Alex was Silver’s nephew, he was still his son! As his son, Alex knew quite a lot about him and felt Creed would be safe in his hands.

‘I definitely cannot die before he does. It will be disastrous for my family’ Alex lampooned in his mind as he took bold strides forward.

In a short time, he was already standing in front of Silver with furrowed eyebrows.

“I understand your anger. I blame myself for not dealing with this earlier. Calm down” Alex said with a tone void of all emotions.

.....

While the first part felt like an apology, the final part kept giving off the vibe of an order. Deep down Silver knew Alex wasn’t asking him to calm down, he was telling him!

Buzzz!

Silver frowned but pushed the matter aside. Since Alex had already retreated and admitted fault if he were to push the matter the would be the one at fault. Once again, he would have to shove everything under the carpet and hope Alex would deal with things properly.

“Do your thing and do it fast. We have things to do and we need to make sure we are done before the week runs out. Time is not on our side” Silver said calmly before walking out of the room.

Alex stood coldly with his eyes aloof as Silver walked past him and left the room.

Buzz!

Alex frowned and staggered back. He sat on his chair and closed his eyes, diving into deep thoughts. His body seemed heavy and his thoughts chaotic!

“You have to show him who is boss!” Sharyn said with fierce eyes.

“Do you think I would decide to rule alongside someone weaker than me?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow. His tone made it clear that he was stating something very obvious.

“I need Silver so please back off and let us protect everyone the way we know how to” Alex said with a stern look on his face.

As soon as he was done he left the room, leaving behind the sounds of Sharyn’s cries.

....7:30pm, Nigeria Sambisa....

Little Alex walked behind Cherry who read the map while they ventured deeper into the Sambisa. They were sent to handle this part of the numerous locations suspected to harbor the people of the God sect and the guardians under their command.

“They took over the headquarters of actual terrorist groups and forced them into submission, that’s how they grew so fast” Cherry explained and Little Alex frowned

He had to confess, that method was quite effective but what’s the ultimate goal?

If these people truly wish to go against someone like Alex or Silver they would sometimes have more to deal with and not some powerless terrorists.

“If these people can’t give them what is needed then the main issue must lie with the high gods. They definitely won’t leave the God sect in a position they can be wiped out easily, so I can’t help but wonder what was left behind for them” Little Alex said thoughtfully and Cherry nodded to agree.

His white and pink Chinese kimono fluttered wind while they walked forward while his long hair fluttered aggressively. He was going to speak but then his eyes twitched as danger filled his senses!

Hmph!

Cherry snorted coldly and flapped his hand fan and almost instantly, pink cherry blossom petals exploded from the heavens and quickly covered him and little Alex.

Bang!

Boom!

An explosion erupted at their position and following this were countless attacks raining down on them.

An ambush?

If this was an ambush laid out by mere terrorists, Cherry won’t be moved but strangely he was feeling pressured under the constant attack. These are not normal weapons!

Buzzz!

Little Alex frowned at these words as he turned and even now he couldn’t see those shooting at them. They were a distance away and their attacks all carried this strange purple glow giving off the same energy as the enforcers.

But Little Alex was sure these weren’t cyborgs but people. This meant they had advanced equipment in their hands.

From where?

Could his fears be true?

What the God sect and their group were given wasn’t just a mere speech but something to help advance their pieces of equipment!

“Nice one.... Even father won’t see that coming” Little Alex complimented but his face remained unusually calm. His eyes scanned across the battlefield while his eyes let out a golden glow.

“Imperial uncle.... We can’t keep defending forever. Let me join in!” Little Alex said absentmindedly while looking into the distance so intently that one would think he can see his targets.

Cherry gave the kid a look and sighed. Just like his father and uncle, Little Alex always had an air of intimidation around him but he doesn’t seem to notice just like his father and uncle.

In Cherry’s opinion, they are all monsters.
