224 Chapter 224: Invincible
Alex stood in mid-air and frowned. He failed to understand how Silver did it and was able to hide themselves within the capital but he found it amusing too. If Silver couldn’t do this much he would be really disappointed. By the way, his friend can be considered the smartest person he knows.
He sighed as his eyes turned to the large tower which brought back memories. The place where he gained his powers and ended up starting a new life. This place is the reason he got this far and in there he could feel a familiar aura that made him frown.
His original plan was to burst in, take little Alex, and leave but now he can’t find his son, his eyes were on his trusty partner for a while. He thought the Danites must have taken it back to their world so he found it really amazing that it was still here.

A cruel smile bloomed on his face for the first time since he came here and he spoke.
“To think you would dare stand before me again. When we captured you in Africa I should have just killed you off then. Well, it’s not too late to do it now” Alex said coldly
“Hmph! A mere Viscount level being dares to act cocky in my presence? I will see to it that you die for good this time!” the Danite general said coldly.
“You should already know by now that I am a man who can punch above his weight. From the dawn of time, I have killed numerous people supposedly far stronger than me in terms of realm and level. You will be no different” Alex yawned lazily which enraged the Danites and the two took battle stances.
“You should already know what I’m capable of. Since I am bold enough to enter this planet again, knowing fully well What is waiting for me, do you think I’m not confident about leaving?” Alex asked with a small smile on his face.
Hearing this the two Danites frowned since they found his words quite honest. They both shot sharp glances around, in anticipation of a powerful expert that may have come with Alex which made him laugh.
“You really think I came with someone?” Alex asked with a disdainful look on his face.
“WHEN HAVE I, ALEX BRIGGS NEEDED SOMEONE’S PROTECTION!” Alex growled viciously as his body burst open with countless cuts and his golden bloodshot forward like whips, lashing at them violently!
Without hesitation, their beasts jumped forward to take the hit which only resulted in them getting split in two!
“Huff!” Alex exhaled as he gazed at the shocked expressions on the faces of their faces!

It felt like time stopped and everything paused for a second. Alex’s figure seemed to have vanished and he stepped past them with his hands shoved deep into his pockets!

Blood squirted out uncontrollably as the heads of Danite commanders fell off their bodies while blood squirted out uncontrollably and their bodies fell to the ground.
People didn’t know what was more surprising. Was it the fact that he used his bare hands to decapitate these people or the fact that the two were far apart, yet they seemed to have lost their heads at the same time

All through their relationship and time together, she never felt the urge to flee or fear because she knew there was someone there, willing to protect her with his life. How could she have forgotten all of this just moments before stabbing Alex deep in the chest with a blade?
Thinking back on it now she realized the reason.

The moment she knew she was pregnant, her priorities changed and her heart changed as well. Her child became the most important person in the world to her whom she must protect at all cost, even if it means killing the father of the child and siding with the enemy just to ensure she lives a peaceful life.
In this life, the concept of good and evil is greatly flawed, or at least that’s what she felt at the moment. No matter what anyone said she won’t believe otherwise. She simply did what was best for the child when she was sure Alex wouldn’t win against the God sect. She couldn’t blame Alex for his anger too. He was betrayed by the people he loves. In fact, if he didn’t want to kill them she will find it strange. Watching Alex stand in mid-air with an extremely calm look on his face, she couldn’t help but remember how much she loved him back then.
It wasn’t just the look of maybe because he acted cool or was wealthy, she was attracted to him for a reason even she didn’t know. There is this air around him filled with so much confidence.
It was a feeling she couldn’t explain.
Looking at him now, she remembered all those times she watched him from afar, fighting fiercely. The thrill of seeing him win was always amazing. Even the few moments when he lost he still looked cool doing it. The strange demeanor and air around him made it look like he won even in defeat.
He was truly one of a kind!
The thought of having such a person as an enemy now was far more heartbreaking than terrifying. At this moment she realized she wasn’t really scared of dying she just didn’t want to die at the hands of the man she loves. But she couldn’t kill herself for the sake of her child. She needed to live and make sure he grew up right!
Confusion filled her eyes as she wonder what next to do. Right now she didn’t know whether to feel happy or sad. Alex just practically one-shotted two terrifying foes and she didn’t know why she felt happy.
Why cheer on the enemy?
Wouldn’t it be better if he dies here?
Does this mean she didn’t want him to die?
“Daddy is strong, he is beating the bad guys, right mum?” Little Alex asked with an innocent look in his golden eyes.
“Yea, he is really amazing” Tracy said with a sweet smile.
Silver watched from the sidelines, not knowing what to say. He could tell she was confused about how she felt about him. But she was not the only one. He too felt strange. Seeing the first video, he wanted to kill Alex. As long as it meant saving his loved ones he would be more than willing to kill his friend if it means protecting his sister and her son.
Danny also felt the same way. They all sat there gazing at the screen and watched Alex quietly. They weren’t bothered about him attacking, especially since Alex isn’t the kind who will recklessly kill people just to achieve his goal. There is no need to harm the civilians and innocent just to achieve his goals
