179 Chapter 179: Ahiak

Alex’s final words before killing the Danite, about not owing the world or it an explanation sparked an outrage. Many were enraged and called him a hypocrite for withholding information that may help the world succeed. Meanwhile, others just believed that he has shown he is on the side of humanity so there is nothing more needed.

By this time he had already gotten fanatic followers who simply chant invincible at the thought of him. The only human with abilities that call himself supreme deity! He is in the same S ratings with master Ye but their strength is worlds apart!

He instantly became an extremely popular figure. He and Danny left with what was left of the Danite’s body, as for master Ye, he was completely healed by Danny but he still remained unconscious. He had expended too much energy and needed time to recover.

The rest of the world has seen a threat ahead so many began withdrawing their hidden forces from the Sahara desert and returning back to their countries in hopes of defending it to the best of their abilities.

........

Lagos was already deserted after they saw everything that happened in China. The culture has refused to return and kept pursuing the sealed artifact and it is very unlikely for Riviz of the Culture to help out.

Their only hope was on the only SS-rated guardian in Nigeria who is said to have undergone the second phase of evolution just to make his power stronger but almost lost his humanity in the process. Many believed Alex’s victory was purely based on the Identity of the cat and the unwillingness of the Danite to continue fighting. And with the entire world threatened, Nigeria most likely won’t be getting any support.

Ahiak stood not too far away from the surging ball of lighting, expanding quickly. After his second evolution, his body had numerous cracks with bright blue energy surging within it. His eyes were bright blue as well and he wore a black leather jacket with black jeans and no shirt but he had a black scarf tied around his neck. From afar, Ahiak was like a glowing torch but the portal about to open was quite brighter.

Rumored to be the most powerful deviant in Africa, many news organizations were present, filming from a distance. Many have heard of Ahiak but none has seen him in action. Many days it would take three members of the culture joining hands to beat him but none has been able to confirm it.

.....

Boom!

A powerful explosion erupted as mild wind hurricanes began forming around the circle lightning ring just like that of Shanghai. The surging hurricane kept expanding but when it met Ahiak, it struck a wide lightning field barrier, preventing it from spreading further. The Nigerian guardian stood with both hands shoved into his pocket while he gazed coldly.

Swoosh!

After a minute or so, the fierce wind subsided and in front of Ahiak was a beast. It looked long, lanky, and had green scales all over it. It was standing on its hind legs with sticky green liquid flowing out of its mouth. Its green eyes were pinned on Ahiak as it looked down on him

“Strange I can’t get in touch with the rest. #& should have been here?” A Danite completely similar to the one Master Ye fought said with a frown. When he called the name of the other one he spoke in a language no one could understand.

They have been trapped in what seemed like a transportation machine, probably in-between space and time so they were unaware of what happened to their comrades sent ahead of them.

Ahiak remained silent and stood fearlessly. His eyes were surging with power dangerously! Ready to explode at any time.

Seeing him in this condition the Danite frowned. He too has heard the rumors of what their Blue death did to the humans instead of killing them.

Seeing one surging with power and with a terrifying aura, the Danite understood that the rumors are true. If a powerful human-like this exists. With more people of his level, they should be able to kill the first scout!

“The other one. He is dead, right?” The Danite didn’t seem flustered. Instead, he was incredibly calm.

“Yes,” Ahiak answered simply. He saw no reason to hide any information.

“Did you kill it?” The Danite asked while walking up to Ahiak.

“Nope... there are many more capable people like me and some even stronger. Its death is inevitable, just like yours” Ahiak said coldly but the Danite shook his head in refusal.

“Even we Danites have levels and rankings. The one you killed was only a soldier level sent to conquer a country... I am a general level Danite, sent to conquer a continent... do you really think you can kill me?” the Danite didn’t seem worried. Instead, it felt amused.

Compared to its fellow Danite, this one showed more emotions than the rest which felt refreshing but terrifying at the same time.

“So what do you plan to do about it?” The Danite asked.

After revealing its level, Ahiak obviously showed a face of shock so it was curious to know what Ahiak was thinking.

“Saying you plan to take a continent in which the Culture resides can be considered as blasphemy where I’m from... How do you plan to pay for this crime?” A loud voice echoed across the sky and black clouds emerged from nowhere.

Looking up a single figure dressed in all black could be seen standing with an eye that looked like a black whirlpool.

“Hmph! I didn’t expect to see a southerner coming all the way here just to help us. What happened, got bored?” Ahiak said with a tone of disdain.

“Do you think I would choose to help a northern cow if I had a choice? It clearly stated it came here to take the continent. If you fall, we all fall” Riviz said disdainfully.

It was clear the northerners and southerners in the country had a very bad relationship. This explains why the culture refuses to protect them.
