Robyn rubbed her already enlarged belly. The woman with long blonde hair was smiling so broadly.

"Hey, Robyn." Smiling, Lexi approached the bed occupied by Robyn. "You seem to be in high spirits today."

"Yeah, it's because you said I'm going to give birth soon," Robyn replied. "After so many months, I can finally have a great impact on Lord Vorn."

The doctor brought her luminous hand to that woman's belly. She focused on her work, so Robyn didn't notice her expression.

Of the many race specimens bearing Fairy fetuses, humans are probably the least likely to succeed. They are the ones whose DNA is farthest from that high being.

"Your baby is fine. No problems at all." Lexi flashed her smile again, then stopped her inspection. "You…."

Suddenly Robyn grunted and held her stomach. "I can feel it! This baby wants out already!"

Similar Voices were heard from other rooms in the clinic. Lexi immediately spoke to the two nurses accompanying her. "Get everyone ready!!!"

[Vorn's POV]

Two tiny white miniature minotaurs were wrestling on the table. My left hand holds the lever to direct one of them while my right-hand presses buttons to attack.

"I think it's time we start reviewing the report documents, my lord." Karl, doing the same in front of me, said. "We have to stop playing."

"But you didn't take your hands off of it." I focused on my character, who almost succeeded in dropping Karl's.

Karl grimaced. "This prototype is so much fun…. But we must really do our job, my lord. We must stop."

Maybe because I haven't played games for a long time, I'm enjoying all of this. After defeating Hiana, there was no significant threat. We only continued to enlarge our territory by invading other smaller countries. On the other hand, rebellions in various regions were getting smaller.

We just passed winter with no significant problems.

"This is the ninth and decisive fight." I managed to lift Karl's miniature. "Our scores are even, after all."

My miniature jumped and slammed Karl's head down. A count of 10 times appeared on the table, and Karl pressed the controller button crazily, but his character never woke up.

When the count ended, my miniature raised both hands in a sign that its won.

Holy shit. Why do I feel such great satisfaction? Is it because the game's movements are so smooth that it feels like I'm experiencing actual combat?

Maybe I haven't felt the thrill of a fight in a long time.

"Well, it's super fun." Karl shrugged. "This will be entertainment for the residents here and income for us. Imagine if this game center project spread all over the country."

"Yeah, and it will be very profitable." I took a glass bottle from another table beside me and drank the black-colored liquid inside. A disgusting bitter taste filled my mouth.

It's basically a potion that slows down the destruction of my body. Neither Ayre nor Lexi have found a cure for my disease.

My communication book vibrated, and I picked it up. "What's wrong, Doc?"

"The fairy mothers are about to give birth, my lord," Lexi answered quickly. "They all show the same symptoms at the same time."

"Okay, I'll be right there." I got to my feet.

Karl sighed. "Looks like we'll have to postpone reviewing those documents again."

As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I heard screams from all directions.

"Would you like to check them out one by one, my lord?" Karl asked. "Visiting people who are giving birth is not something that will be memorable, I believe."

"Is it that bad?" I raised an eyebrow.

Lexi rushed over to me and bowed. "Sorry, but we don't know who will be able to give birth to the fairy, my lord."

I glanced at one corner of the room and found an elf girl sitting on a chair. She looked so tense and looked like she wanted to cry.

The child's mother was the one that carried the fairy fetus.

"Is death also possible?" I asked the doctor.

Lexi closed her eyes, speaking with a trembling mouth. "Anyone whose baby doesn't survive, then she will die."

"I see." I approached the elf child. She hastily got up from sitting and bowed.

While displaying a smile, I crouched in front of her. "Are you happy living here?"

She nodded. "I have many friends, and people don't hate my mother and me. Even if someone is mean to us, the demons will immediately help us."

"Good." I rubbed her head. "I promise that happiness will never disappear.

She tilted her head, looking confused. I widened a smile, then spoke to my underlings. "Accompany her."

One of the female shapeshifters rushed to replace me to console her.

"Please, please take me to Lord Vorn!" A woman's scream came from one of the rooms. "I want to meet him!!!"

"That is Robyn, my lord," Lexi explained before I could ask. "From the start, she said she wanted to meet you, even though she was in labor. So, we had to use several people to restrain her."

"Then, I will accompany her," I muttered and walked toward the origin of the scream. "If she moves too much during delivery, it's dangerous, right?"

"That's right, my lord." The doctor replied.

As soon as I entered the room, I found Robyn squirming wildly and being held by several nurses.

"I want to meet lord Vorn! I…." She was silent when she saw me.

"I'm right here, Robyn." I smiled, approached her, and took her hand. "I'll accompany you until this is over."

"Lord Vorn….." She had tears in her eyes. "Soon, I will prove that I am worthy of you."

"I know." I wiped her sweaty face.

"Push hard, Robyn." Lexi helped with the birth.

"Follow doctor Lexi's words." I gave a soft whisper into her ear.

She gripped my hand tighter, growled loudly, and strained.

"Yeah, like that!" Lexi encouraged the blonde woman. "You did well!"

"You are a great woman, Robyn." I kept whispering to that woman. "I know that since I met you in the slump of Marystar city."

"Y-you still remember that?" she gasped.

"Of course." I put on my smile again. "You are very tough to be able to survive that situation. So, I'm sure you can do this."

She smiled even though she looked so hurt.

"You are one of the best of us, Robyn." I kissed her hand.
