After examining the egg-shaped foreign object, Ayre returned to me who was sitting a little far away, wearing full armor complete with a helmet to cover my face.
"We cannot categorize that thing as high-being, my lord. So, I can't do that ritual on it." The shapeshifter general explained.
"Make that magic circle somewhere else, then. Choose a place she won't see, and tell me the position later." I gave the order.
"Sure, my lord." She bowed and immediately left with several other shapeshifters.
I narrowed my eyes at that thing. There was already a small red crack there. "You guys better get going. I don't want you to be controlled by her when she hatches. Just let her be my business."
"Very well, my lord." The demons said their goodbyes and left together.
I leaned my back against the chair. "Why don't you two go?"
Velvet and Emily moved in front of me and bowed.
"I am high-being, my lord." Emily responded. "Ayre and Lexi said, I can't be affected by Hiana's mind control. I can help you."
"And I'm basically a human with dragon powers, not a demon." Velvet added. "That demon woman won't be able to control me either."
I was silent for a few seconds, before answering. "Go. It's an order."
They looked worried, but finally bowed again and said. "As you wish, my lord."
"But if things get worse, we will come to help you." Emily added, but I didn't respond.
They both left, and I got up from my chair to approach the strange object.
Hiana has made this very personal for me, so I want to finish everything alone. There's no other reason.
I activate my power. My muscles enlarged, and the armor I was wearing was fused to my body because they were made of metal ragmonuk. My body mostly consists of that element.
Then, I sat in front of the foreign object, able to feel the gigantic energy fluctuations the scientists had said.
I also felt the same energy fluctuations within me.
"Hiana, come out!" I exclaimed. "We finish this now!!!"
The cracks in the thing grew larger, and spread. Not long after, a dark green creature came out of the giant egg, making its shells fall.
Now I can't see her name, so I can't tell if my level is below her, on the same level, or even above her. Even from our two energy fluctuations, I couldn't tell who was stronger.
"You're even more disgusting than I last remembered." I scoff at her form, which is shaped like a woman and a grasshopper combined, with giant bulging eyes and antennae on the head.
"You…. You are Vorn!?" She gasped hard. "Impossible! I've killed you! I alone squeezed your heart!!!"
I got to my feet. "Well, that means I'm stronger than you. So, I am the real demon lord in this world."
"No!!!" She snapped. "I am the real demon lord! You are just a cheap copy of me!"
I pointed at her face. "You will never deserve that title. You know what I think about you? You are just a playful and cranky brat."
Hiana's chest rose and fell, and her hands clenched into fists. With a trembling voice, she growled. "How dare you talk to me like that…."
She threw her fist, just as I did the same. Our fists clashed, creating a tremendous boom, causing the earth to tremble, and producing a wave that blew the leaves from the trees.
Even though the trees were very far from us.
We both froze with our fists still pressed against each other. I felt a sharp pain in my hand.
And it seemed she was just as surprised as I was that she couldn't respond.
She tried to kick me but I blocked her with both hands.
Again, the attack caused an extraordinary boom. Besides that, my hand also felt pain again.
So, I can't always block her attacks. I might break first.
I tried to shape my elbow to her head but she blocked that too. Then, we exchanged blows with each other. Every attack that hits our body or is blocked always has the same effect.
The sounds, vibrations, and waves that appeared were getting more and more intense. Now we've even made the ground start to crack and the trees sway.
Damn. This is probably the most epic battle I've ever experienced. And strangely, I'm starting to enjoy this, even though my hatred for this woman doesn't just go away.
I jumped up, bumping my knee on her head. She instantly rolled backwards.
"You can't beat me, bastard!!!" That demon woman cursed. "I'm the one who will rule this world!!!"
"You talk too much, bitch." I pulled her antennae.
But she suddenly caught my body, flapped her wings, took me up into the air at high speed.
I tried to escape by beating her body. But she desperately held on to me.
"I will take you to outer space!!!" She laughed like crazy. "No matter how good you are, you can't survive there."
"You still underestimate me, huh?" I replied fiercely. My body could already feel an intense chill, a sign we had almost penetrated the atmosphere. I must quickly escape.
I don't know what will happen.
Finally, I was able to twist her arm until it made a horrible crack.
Even so, she did not want to let me go.
And this time what I felt was an intense heat, accompanied by a painful rumble that kept piercing my ears. A transparent flame-like layer had also enveloped our bodies. We're almost off the planet.
The heat really tortured me. Some of my skin and Hiana's had peeled off.
But I'm used to any kind of pain.
"Arrggghhh!!!" She screamed when I finally managed to squeeze her left eye.
Her grip on my body loosened and I immediately moved to her back. Right at that moment, I couldn't hear anything and couldn't catch my breath anymore. My eyes could see the expanse of the dark sky space filled with stars.
But now is not the time for me to admire all that. I tore off both of Hiana's wings, spurting a whitish liquid from her back. They immediately floated in space.
