My middle fingers are very sore. I lay on the bed with my eyes open, imagining my previous life as an ordinary boy that just wanted to play games. And now I am a demon lord leading a large empire.

It still feels so surreal to me.

"Can't sleep, my lord?" Velvet, lying on my left still naked, muttered. "Do you feel sad about leaving this world?"

I muttered for a moment. "Just a little. I like the games and the food here."

"You miss your parents too, right?" She looked at me.

"Yeah, but soon they're going to be the past for me. I have to focus on what's out there in that world."

The dragon woman smiled. "They are excellent parents."

I chose not to respond further. Chats like this can trigger my emotions to become turbulent again.

"Once back in that world, what will you do first, my lord?" Lexi chimed in. She was lying on my right, also naked. "How about we build our own game center? We can use magic to build the devices. But maybe we should make games according to our culture."

I chuckled. "Good idea. But I have to defeat Hiana first."

The doctor was silent for a moment. "Are you really going to do that ragmonuk infusion procedure, my lord?"

"Is that thing that dangerous?" Velvet responded.

"We don't exactly know what the effect will be." The doctor sighed. "We can guess the benefits because that thing basically is elements from demons but lacks consciousness… Maybe it doesn't only affect Lord Vorn's body but also his mind. And more…."

Instead of continuing her words, the doctor sobbed.

"Are you okay, doc?" Velvet asked, touching that woman.

"You were afraid that I would change so much, right?" I wiped the tears of the doctor.

"You could be very different, maybe even more different from your human form." Her voice was getting hoarse.

"That won't change anything." Emily, lying on the couch, chimed in. "I will always be by Lord Vorn's side forever."

Lexi caught her breath. "Sorry, I just…. You know…."

"I understand your concern." I kissed the doctor's forehead. "It's okay. It's not your fault for worrying like that."

"I'll try my best not to screw that up." Ayre, lying on the mat that was on the floor, commented.

"If his personality stays the same, I won't have a problem." Phisovia also spoke up. She lay down next to the shapeshifter general. "And, of course, if her sex skills are still the same, that's a bonus. But it doesn't have to be."

"You don't know, Phisovia. If this method works, lord Vorn's lovemaking abilities will be multiplied many times over. It will be like the explosion of a volcano."

I laughed at the joke that Ayre uncharacteristically said.

"Hey, what about the human me!? Lexi sounded really worried. "I could die if what you say is true!!!"

My laughter grew louder.

"If you die, I can bring you back to life, Doc!" Emily laughed too.

"Yeah, we'll be there soon," Fergus spoke again as I drove my van toward a large abandoned building. "You have to pay me something big for helping you…."

Before the dark magus' words could finish, Ayre put him in a pouch and tied it up.

"It uses silencer magic." The shapeshifter general sitting next to me explained. "So, he won't be able to run his mouth all the time."

"Good." I parked the car in front of the structure. "We don't need to hear his ramblings."

It was still early, and we decided to immediately perform this ritual. We've procrastinated too long.

After we got out of the car, we rushed to follow Ayre to the center of that tall building.

"Fergus isn't lying. The frequency of this place is suitable for magic." The shapeshifter general tosses the bag containing Fergus' head onto the floor. Then with one hand move, she conjured a 7-foot magic circle there.

"It's smaller than the previous one," Phisovia commented.

"That's because we won't be using a Kraken." Ayre conjured a pocket dimension portal in the air.

Finding Velvet's face as tense as yesterday, I asked. "What's wrong?"

She shook her head with a smile. "It's nothing…. I just feel that there is still much that can be explored in this world."

Even though I wasn't sure about her answer, I decided not to ask any further questions. We have to focus on this interdimensional ritual. I can ask her later.

Ayre stuck a Mythril sword in the yellow glowing magic circle, then looked at the dragon woman. "Now it's your turn, Velvet. Hold this sword and channel all your dragon power."

Instead of carrying out Ayre's orders, the dragon woman just froze. The veins on her face tensed, and her body trembled.

"I thought that, after coming to this place, I could activate my power." She shook her hand, and tears began to fall. "But I was wrong."

Those words made my heart beat soar.

"Just try it." Ayre gulped. "Perhaps by doing so, your dragon power will activate."

Velvet took a deep breath, then nodded. After walking to the center of the magic circle, she held the sword's hilt and closed her eyes.

"Please, Velvet." I hissed. "Make this work."

I can't imagine that I can't return to that world in the end.

The minutes passed in silence. I know my women are also waiting with the same worries as me.

However, the dragon woman knelt down, and her tears flowed more and more. "I'm really sorry…. I can't do this…. I know the dragon's power is still in me, but I can't get it out…."

My women looked so shocked. Lexi even knelt down with wide eyes.

Phisovia massaged her forehead, about to approach the dragon woman, but I caught the succubus by the shoulder and shook my head.

That red-haired woman wiped her own tears, then took a few steps away, turning her back to us with her arms crossed.

Of course, I want to be angry and express everything I feel. My possibility of returning to that world is gone. And we don't know what to do.

However, my wife is in distress right now, and I'm sure she doesn't want this to happen.

So, holding back my tears, I knelt before Velvet and hugged her body tightly.

"Forgive me, my lord." She kept crying. "I didn't mean to mess this up."

I'm speechless.

"You need a high being, right?" Emily's words caught our attention. She wore a broad smile as she spread her arms. "It just so happens that one of them is right in front of you."
