The residents of the Vorn Empire's capital were gathered in an empty lot. Several bare-chested prisoners, both men and women were lined up on the ground, waiting for their turn to get punished. They have committed various violations and have finished trial.

"Hmmm!!!" One man could only growl because his mouth bit a piece of wood. His hands were chained to the pillars, so he couldn't fight back as the whip slashed across his back. "Hmmm!!!"

Xenora, standing beside the fake Lord Vorn sitting on the chair, looked at the red-brown wounds on the prisoner's back. Instead of grimacing or being horrified, she licked her lips, her breathing started to get heavy, and her face flushed.

Emily lined up the succubus, shaking her head. "Don't tell me you want to be punished like him, Xen."

"That is none of your business," Xenora responded without looking at the supreme undead. "Don't you have a schedule to test the submarine today?"

"They're doing trials with a shapeshifter who will be my traveling companion. The second submarine prototype isn't finished, so they're using mine to train the shapeshifter."

"I see."

The executioner in the black mask whipped the prisoner one more time.

"Thirty lashes done!" A succubus gave an announcement from the other side of the field. "Next, Olivia Ashford! She is guilty of aiding Fergus Algrave in his crimes! She will get 50 lashes and a year in prison!"

The prisoner was released from the chains, then two other executioners took him away. He looked helpless, so sweaty, and kept wincing in pain.

Olivia tried to fight back when pulled by the executioners, but her strength was far behind. She could only cry while begging for mercy.

"How are Phisovia and Ritor?" Emily asked as the noble's daughter was chained to two pillars.

Xenora shrugged. "Their condition can't be called good. But that doesn't mean their lives are in danger. Doctor Lexi must examine them thoroughly to find out what's happening and treat them."

"I'm innocent!!! I demand justice!!!" Olivia Ashford continued to cry and struggle, making it difficult for the executioner to put a cylindrical piece of wood into her mouth. "I am royal blood, should not be treated like this!!!"

"Ugh!" Xenora snorted. "I really hate her behavior."

The succubus flew for a moment, then landed in front of Olivia. Without the slightest hesitation, she slapped that woman hard, instantly leaving a red welt.

Olivia could only freeze with her mouth agape, and her crying stopped.

Xenora grabbed Olivia's hair, forcing that woman to look at her.

"Shut up, bitch. And bite this." The succubus hissed. "You don't want your mouth to bite your tongue off when you scream, do you? And if you keep throwing tantrums like this, I'll ensure your punishment is doubled."

Olivia held back her tears, finally biting into the wood. Xenora returned to her previous position and slightly stretched her body.

Emily chuckled. "I see. Doing something like that to a spoiled brat is really fun sometimes."

"She's really annoying."

Olivia groaned loudly as soon as she got the first lash. Her body immediately drooped and was only held back by the chains that trapped her hands.

But the executioner didn't care and whipped her again, forcing her to scream and cry.

"I don't understand why so many people like to see things like this." Emily yawned. "This is boring. I better do something else before testing the sub again."ραпdα `n?ν?| сom

"I'm amazed at those who can't enjoy things like this."

Emily shook her head. "Your brain just isn't right, Xen."

Just as she was about to turn around, the supreme undead saw a dot in the sky. That thing flew over. "What's that…."

Everyone there looked up because there was an intense buzzing.

Wearing a maroon backless short dress, the demon woman landed in the middle of the field, triggering silence.

"Hello!" She stretched out her arms with a broad smile that showed her teeth. "Good afternoon! Looks like you guys are having a party! Can I join you!?"

Xenora screamed with all her might. "Humans, get out of here!!! Everyone else, get ready with your weapons!!!"

In just a second, the humans ran, while the prisoners couldn't do anything because their hands and feet were tied.

Hiana placed her palm on her forehead, laughing like crazy. "How ironic. Since when did demons coexist with humans!?"

"You became their underling, I heard." Drawing her sword from her back, Emily confronted the female demon.

Hiana's laughter suddenly stopped. She glared at the supreme undead. "What the fuck you say?"

"I said you are their dog." Emily gave a disdainful smile.

Hiana tilted her head with bulging eyes, then looked at the fake Vorn, who had also stood up. He wore full armor with a helmet, similar to the real Vorn.

Hiana's laughter broke out again. She pointed at that creature and exclaimed. "He's not the Vorn you love! Your lord has died at my hands!"

Several demons' gazes turned to Xenora, who immediately answered. "Don't worry about it. You guys better focus on her. We'll explain the matter later."

"Ugh." The demon woman scratched her hair. "Looks like you guys are hiding low-level demons, huh? I can't control any of you…. Well, that's fine, we can still have fun…."

"You're diverting the conversation, cunt." Emily interrupted Hiana's words. "You really don't want to be called a human lackey, huh? Well, that shouldn't be a problem. You're not Lord Vorn. It's only natural that you work for someone else."

The veins on Hiana's face tightened even more. She growled. "Can't you keep your mouth shut, bitch? I'll slowly crush you until you beg to die!"

"But I'm already dead."

Hiana couldn't answer and looked even angrier.

"Thanks for making yourself a target, Em," Xenora whispered, already using her fighting stance. "She will focus on you, and we can attack her from all directions."

"You're welcome," Emily smirked. "I'm the hardest person to die, after all…. Well, like I just said. Basically, I'm already dead."

Hiana blitzed at the supreme undead.
