A few minutes ago, Chae Hyung-Seok was just as shocked as Siegfried after seeing Xanatos’ true form. ‘So that’s a real demon…’
He didn’t have much to do as his guild was currently being kept at bay by Siegfried’s guild, so he decided to observe the demon from a distance.

“Siegfried-nim!” Brunhilde screamed and tried to save Siegfried.
“You damn elf bitch!” Xanatos growled and swung his fist at her.

Brunhilde flew back more than ten meters after blocking the punch.
“Keke! Were you the one that helped me, Adventurer?” Xanatos looked toward Chae Hyung-Seok and asked.
“As you can see,” Chae Hyung-Seok replied nonchalantly and shrugged.
“It shouldn’t have been an easy choice.”
“No, it was easy.”
“Hmm?”
“I can’t lose an excellent business partner, right?”
“Oh?”
“I recall that you’re quite the giver and taker. Can I trust you’re still the same?”
“Of course, Adventurer,” Xanator replied. The demon realized what was going on and snickered. “Keke! You will become a key figure in the Constantine Holy Empire from now on!”
“Okay, we have an agreement, then,” Chae Hyung-Seok muttered and smiled.
“You all heard that, right? We’re going to help the pope from now on. It doesn’t matter if we die as long as the pope survives. Our enemies are… everyone else aside from the pope,” Chae Hyung-Seok commanded his guild.
The guild members flinched for a moment after hearing the command, but it didn’t take that long for them to understand what Chae Hyung-Seok meant.
The first targets of the Genesis Guild were the soldiers, knights, and paladins of the papacy.
“Kill them all,” Chae Hyung-Seok said in a cold voice. He smirked and added, “We can’t allow any leaks of our client’s personal information, right?”
Chae Hyung-Seok didn’t hesitate to wipe out everyone in the village just to hide the pope’s true identity.
“That bastard is the real devil!”
“Hey! You call yourself a human after this?!”
The Head Crusher Guild members raged at Chae Hyung-Seok, but their voices fell on deaf ears. Chae Hyung-Seok couldn’t care less about them.
Five minutes before all hell broke loose. The battle shifted in a strange way where the papal troops and Siegfried were on the same side while the Genesis Guild sided with the demon, Xanatos.
“Keke! You dare try to kill me?”
“Kuheok!”
Siegfried could not budge an inch as Xanatos was putting his weight on him.
“Owner punk!”
“Hyung-nim!”
Hamchi and Seung-Gu tried to rescue Siegfried from the demon to no avail.
“That tickles,” Xanatos said with an arrogant smile. His defense was near-impenetrable for Hamchi and Seung-Gu without Blaze Field.
“I’ll give you the most painful death you could ever experience.”
“Y-You damn demon…!” Siegfried tried to break free from the demon, but he was completely incapacitated after using both Torrential Flower Rain and Quick Draw, which exhausted his mana.
‘Is this how I’m going to die…?’ Siegfried thought of death for the first time after becoming the Debuff Master. He couldn’t see a way out.
Brunhilde was also incapacitated after the demon sent her flying away.
How were they supposed to face a Level 300 Named Demon in this state? There was no way out of this predicament, and all of this started from him being completely unaware of the existence of Chae Hyung-Seok’s Light of Salvation skill.
However, nothing would have changed even if he were aware of Chae Hyung-Seok’s ultimate skill, as Xanatos would have wreaked havoc while he was busy trying to get rid of Chae Hyung-Seok.

“I won’t let you…!” Siegfried growled as he squeezed every ounce of his strength.
“An endless despair fit for an immortal! Kekeke!”

“Die!” Xanatos exclaimed and raised his fist above his head.

A ray of light descended from the heavens and enveloped Siegfried.

Xanatos was perplexed at the ray of light that appeared out of nowhere, and he immediately turned toward Chae Hyung-Seok.
