“Fine. I don’t need you to care about the others.” Old Master Jing negotiated. “But Nanxing…”
“This matter is not negotiable. If you really can’t accept this, I will leave Jing Family and start my own.” Jing Tian interrupted his father.

Old Master Jing continued, “Son, there are so many good girls out there. What type do you prefer? Just tell me and as your father, I will do everything in my power to get her to marry you. Can’t you just make this one sacrifice for the family?”
Jing Tian looked at him and said evenly, “If there will be such serious consequences from me marrying Nanxing, then I will leave the Jing Family. It’ll be better for everyone. I can get what I want and the Jing family won’t be embarrassed because of me.”
“Bullshit! Bullshit! Stop threatening to leave the Jing Family! You are just bullying me! What have the Jing Family done to you people? Why do you all threaten to leave the Jing Family whenever the chance comes up. What have I done so wrong that you can’t stay in the same family with me?” Old Master Jing’s voice was filled with grievance.
Jing Tian was silent.

Jing Tian uttered, “How do you expect me to investigate this? And this happened for not the first time. Every time it will cause a huge uproar. I am tired and I don’t want to deal with this anymore. I never intend to fight for your inheritance anyway. Just let me leave the Jing Family. It won’t affect me being a filial son to you. All these problems will go away after I leave the Jing Family.”
