Khal used his Heaven's Eyes to get a better look at the approaching creature and found it with a shock that it was by no means small despite the water level being about a bit more than one meter deep!
The creature had about a two meters big frame with at least a hundred meters in length. It was a huge green snake with scales as thick as a human arm and as many eyes like a spider!
Furthermore, to make its appearance even more grotesque, the beast not only had a huge jaw that seemingly could easily swallow a truck but several human-sized bones were growing out from the sides of its body while from their tips green liquid dripped into the water, corroding the water lilies it was falling on!
"Another beast with poisonous ability?" Khal frowned when he saw this but still signaled at Astro casually and said, "I will take care of this alone. Just concentrate on the one on the front."
When Astro heard Khal's words he first felt puzzled but upon seeing where he was pointing at and saw as a beast similar to the one on the front but with a way scarier aura was approaching them his complexion paled and was ready to inform the others.
"I said I will be more than enough to take care of it," Khal said, but although he succeeded in stopping Astro from notifying the rest his voice was something that still attracted others' attention.
Thus, it didn't last long before everyone noticed the second threat behind their backs, causing all of their complexion to turn ghostly pale!
"Sigh..." Khal massaged his temples when he saw how the spirit of each being before him dropped and couldn't help but let out a deep sigh. Even those at the Ascender Stage looked like scared puppies, seemingly on the verge of pissing their pants from sheer fear at any given moment!
'Come on... I have the weakest Cultivation Base among all of us yet I am the calmest and most confident here! You guys should be the ones brimming with self-confidence, not me!' Khal sighed helplessly in his heart and once he glanced at the beast in front of him he mumbled, "Should I just use my Soul Piercer?"
The question was a good one as his Soul Piercer was a weapon that was capable of piercing anyone's soul directly, even causing instant death!
However, while this weapon of his possessed such terrifying might it still had a huge drawback too; its ability to instakill was highly dependable on the fact how much essence he used and how strong his prey was both physically and in soul!
For instance, the beast he has killed the very moment he entered the Zero Realm had a very weak physique and soul, allowing him to kill it with trim to no struggle. As for the beast he has slain back on the first floor, it was a completely different story. Not only did it possess a strong body that could easily repel attacks from others but its soul was also powerful to the point if Khal would have not used one-fourth of his Body Essence it would have easily survived!
And obviously, this beast in front of him not only possessed a stronger body but even a stronger aura than that bird back on the first floor! And Khal was pretty sure if this beast had a stronger body and aura, its soul must be stronger too!
"Let's just use that and see if it will work." Khal sighed and without hesitation activated his least used Power Core, his World Devourer Physique!
However, the results that Khal believed after activating his World Devourer Physique were bigger than he initially expected them to be!
Under all the creatures' stupified gazes, Khal's body grew and changed, becoming a several miles long and hundreds of meters wide serpent with scales as thick as cabins and as white as snow!
If it wouldn't have been for Khal reacting in time and shifting his massive frame to another direction, his huge body would have definitely squashed all the beings that stood behind him, even killing those with a weaker physique such as Senior Lin and Darla!
"Wh-What the actual fuck?! What kind of broken ability is this shit?" Vern blurted out with a dumbfounded expression and watched as Khal's now serpent shape how towered over them like a small mountain!
They were literally surrounded from every direction with his body, completely obscuring the view they once saw from them!
Now he really brought the concept of a monster disguised in human skin to whole another level!
While all the creatures were trying to find answers to their questions and guess how Khal was able to change form to such a humungous shape until then Khal felt surprised and delighted as he looked down on the scenery around them from high above despite feeling 3/4 of his body still being on the ground!
'Amazing... I have forgotten that each of my Power Cores become stronger as the higher Cultivation Stages I reach!'
He could clearly remember that his World Devourer Physique was much smaller when he activated it after acquiring it. The difference between each size during that time and now was as large as the distance between earth and sky!
'Well, at least now I can really don't need to fear my stomach will corrode from the inside.' Khal thought and under everyone's dumbstruck gaze opened his jaws wide and with a quick move bit into the beast in the water, swallowing it down with one single gulp!
The beast didn't even have the chance to move much less dodge Khal's descending jaw before its previously huge frame which now looked significantly tiny compared to Khal's vanished inside the abyss-like darkness inside Khal's mouth!
'Sour...' Khal thought with a puckered complexion and was ready to eat the second beast too when suddenly Nova's voice appeared in his head.
