Khal's brows twitched when he heard Elder Rene's words, but he just shook his head and without a word followed the two silently. He was curious to see what kind of results will Raven get now that she was also someone that achieved to open her Soul World.

However, just before he could have followed Elder Rene and Raven inside the building where the test will take place, Senior Lin's figure appeared on his side, forcing him to halt his steps.

"Senior." Khal bowed but was quickly stopped by Senior Lin.

"I already told you, you don't need to show me so much respect. Instead, just call me Lin." Senior Lin said with a small but rather charming smile.

"Urgh... Lin? No, it feels weird." Khal shook his head, feeling it was not proper for him to call someone tens of years older than him on her name, especially if that someone was a woman!

Senior Lin touched her chin when she heard Khal's words and couldn't help but sigh, "Then just call me Senior Lin."

"Um... No, It's too formal."

"Brat, you-"

"Okay, okay. I guess I will go with Senior Lin then." Khal laughed when he saw how angry Senior Lin became and couldn't help but think her expression was rather funny.

"You! Don't think you can act casually around me just because you have slightly greater strength than me! I am still your senior!" Senior Lin narrowed her eyes, looking like an angry cat at the moment.

"My bad, my bad." Khal raised both his hands, admitting his mistake without putting up a fight.

"Hmph, I thought so." Senior Lin nodded and after taking a deep breath she turned serious and said, "Now, as for why I am here, I need to ask you a favor."

"A favor?" Khal also stopped smiling and showed a confused frown.

"Yes." Senior Lin nodded and continued, "Not long ago, a dungeon was found on Planet Roxa. However, in contrast to all the dungeons that were so far discovered in the Second Realm, this one is slightly different."

"While average dungeons have hundreds if not thousands of levels with each differing from the other while also offering greater treasures the deeper one goes, this dungeon is only ten levels deep!"

"But that is a good thing, no? I mean, if it only has ten levels doesn't that mean you can clean the whole dungeon faster?" Khal raised a brow, not understanding why this was such a huge problem.

"Yes, that would be true if the creatures inhabiting the floors were not on the Ascender Stage!" Senior Lin sighed helplessly.

"What? Right on the first level?" Khal asked with widened eyes.

"Yes, furthermore, it seems each is at the peak of that stage and has different powers!" Senior Lin nodded and added, "Other races have already tried their best, but except for cleaning the first three floors they were incapable of going any lower. What's more, when they decided to retreat their numbers had been halved already despite going inside with Limit Breakers and several Ascenders!"

The more Khal listened the more he felt it was unbelievable that such a dungeon could exist! Just imagining the sheer chaos the planet would undergo if a dungeon break would occur... Just thinking about it made Khal feel a cold sensation sweeping through his body unwittingly.

"Luckily the creatures inside can't leave the dungeon," Khal mumbled under his breath, but his belief only lasted for a few seconds before Senior Lin shattered it with a single sentence.

"And that is where you are wrong, they can."

"Huh? What do you mean by that?"

"It's exactly what I said." Senior Lin showed a bittersweet smile and explained, "Although creatures can't escape on their own the dungeon still can kick them out."

"Kick them... Out?" Khal felt puzzled.

[She means if the numbers of the creatures increase to unprecedented levels the dungeon will allow some to leave to free more space.]

[And when I say some, I don't mean one or two, but hundreds or even thousands!]

"Oh..." was what Khal was able to only say, now finally understanding the whole situation thanks to Nova's help.

"So you want me to go Planet Roxa, enter a dungeon which is full of bloodthirsty creatures at the Ascender Stage and kill them to avoid an approaching catastrophe? All this all alone?"

"Well, yes except the last part. You won't be entering the dungeon alone." Senior Lin nodded and continued, "There will be others from different races too, each possessing great powers. With them, I am pretty sure you will be able to clean the dungeon and see what lays on the final level."

'Well, from the looks of it it will be them cleaning with me helping not the other way around, but whatever.' Khal thought in his heart and asked, "And what will I get out from all this? I mean, you told me there will be many other powerful figures helping in this 'cleaning', so for me, it makes zero sense to go there. They will even look at me as a hindrance instead."

"That may be true, but with your strength, I am sure you will stun them greatly and make them understand we humans, in the end, are not that weak." Senior smiled and quickly added, "As for your reward, I will allow you to choose from any Heaven Grade Martial Techniques for free. It does not sound a bad deal, right?"

Khal pondered for a while but in the end, he couldn't resist the temptation. Like, who in their right mind would refuse to get a Heaven Grade Martial Technique for free?

No one right?

Hence after agreeing to help and discussing the time and day when they will leave for Planet Roxa, Khal began to walk toward the building where Raven was taking her test at the moment.

"I heard one of your friends is currently doing the test. I am curious about her so I will come too." Senior Lin said and followed Khal inside.

However, just as the two reached the doors and were ready to walk inside, the wall on the right side suddenly collapsed while a figure covered in wounds and blood flew out, crashing into the ground in the distance with a loud 'bang' sound!

"D-Disciple Emera? What happened with her?" Senior Lin's eyes widened, watching as the young female cultivator lay on the ground motionlessly, unknown if she was still alive or dead!
