Walking around the huge city like a lost soul in an endless maze, Khal checked out thousands of the houses he has walked by, but even then he was incapable of finding a single individual or their aura that could lead him to them!
"I have checked close to ten thousand buildings, even used my Heaven's Eyes yet I can find nothing! No people, no exit, nothing! Will I really be stuck here forever?" Khal let out a hopeless sigh as he sat down on a staircase right before a relatively small building that seemed to be a shop.
Naturally, it seemed to be only a shop from the outside as the inside of it was completely empty, just like how all the other buildings inside this seemingly infinitely vast abandoned city were.
"Any idea or thought how I should get out of here? It's been days since I have been trapped here with no results of me finding a way out."
Khal's question obviously was directed to Nova, who was quieter than she usually used to be for some strange reason.
[If you want to hear my honest answer, I think you are screwed.]
'Hmm... Understandable.' Khal nodded calmly and closed his eyes before his eyes snapped open the next moment and a great aura that was akin to a massive bomb exploded out of his body creating a huge crater below his body!
BAM!
"FUCKING BULLSHIT!" Khal cursed out loud from the top of his lungs in his life first and threw a powerful punch out.
BOOOOM!!
All the buildings and decorations in front of him in a range of two to three hundred meters turned to dust and debris in an immediate flash before they were erased from existence by the crimson flames that followed suit!
BAM!
BOOOM!
KA-BOOOM!
Directing all of his pent-up stress and anger into his fists and kicks while also using several of his Talents that caused the towering buildings around him to fall and be destroyed as easily as card castles because of a gentle breeze, Khal went on a complete rampage!
No matter if it was a massive building with a height of hundreds of meters or a small vase with a single flower in it, everything before his wrath turned into ash and dust, blown away by the occasionally arising wind that appeared from different directions from time to time.
[Khal, calm down. If you behave like a child throwing a tantrum then nothing will be solved, and maybe you will even turn things worse than they already are.]
Khal threw out several more punches and kicks before he lowered his hand and remained silent with his body remaining in one place and eyes closed; it was obvious he was trying to calm himself down, which was rather hard as this was the first for him to feel this much anger because of his own helplessness.
Taking several minutes to calm down, Khal exhaled deeply to let out a great amount of turbid air, and once his anger subsided a small amount he opened his previously closed eyes and looked around.
But as he saw nothing but sheer destruction in a more than a thousand meters radius around him, he could only shake his head and look toward the sky which always remained dark, never turning into daytime despite him being inside the city for more than a day!
"This sucks..." Khal let out another deep sigh before he sat down on the destroyed ground and closed his eyes.
[What are you doing now?]
'Isn't that clear? If I can't leave this place cause there is no path taking me out, then I will simply force a way out myself!' Khal said firmly, almost as if he was confident in his statement becoming reality.
[Forcing your way out? Did you maybe forget that you are currently inside a Special Domain where space seems to be twisted to the point where you cannot leave? You are trapped, so how do you even plan to force your way out from a place where nothing can escape?]
'I will surpass the limits of my current Realm and force myself into the Third Realm.' Khal responded calmly and focused on the essence inside his Essence Paths with all ounce of his concentration.
[You want to do what?]
Nova's shocked voice sounded in Khal's mind and quickly continued:
[I hope you know that if you wish to enter the Third Realm you first need to become an Ascender which is a completely different story from the times when you had to become a Body Refiner or Body Temperer. It will take you years to reach the next Stage and even more than a few decades to reach the peak of the Ascender Stage before you can challenge the Thousand Path of Destiny!]
Unfortunately, Khal didn't seem to care about what Nova just said and even showed a cold smile which seemed somewhat stubborn and arrogant.
Just how would he not understand what Nova tried to say to him? He was well aware that what he tried to do was something completely new and needed years of hard effort if not decades!
But he didn't care as he knew that there was no other option for him to select from. He was currently trapped inside of a zone where not even beings from the Third and Fourth Realm could escape, so how would he, a mere Limit Breaker from the Second Realm hope to leave?
He was trapped, hence the only choice he could take was to surpass his limit and reach the peak of the Ascender rank as soon as possible!
And if he somehow achieves that, he can be qualified to challenge the Thousand Path of Destiny and enter the Third Realm, meaning he can force himself out of the Zero Realm and this cursed Special Domain before finding his way back again from the Thrid Realm!
Although this was not what he initially planned, he could only do this and hope he can reach the peak of the Ascender Stage as soon as possible. Even if it will take him a year or more, he will make sure to force himself out of this place no matter what!
But just as Khal thought about this and was ready to immerse himself deeply into his cultivation, suddenly his body flinched and eyes snapped wide open as a deep and unfamiliar voice appeared right in his ear closely from his side!
"Interesting.... It has been quite a while since I met with someone who is capable of withstanding my domain's power for such a long time. I must say I am truly impressed, haha!"
