While Khal sat in his residence's bathtub, tempering his body among painful groans and frowns, Elder Rene flew high in the sky with great speed, his silver eyes scanning the sect below him with a sharp gaze.
"He is not here either?" a deep frown appeared on Elder Rene's calm face, seemingly troubled by the fact he couldn't find Khal.
"He couldn't have just vanished into thin air right?"
It made no sense at all for him not to locate someone he wished to find as his Talent specialized exactly in such a way; his Silent Ear was a unique Talent that allowed him to enhance his hearing to such levels where it could be called almost heave-defying!
If used to its maximum capacity, he could even hear and see things miles away from him, that's just how ridiculous his power was!
Yet, right now, as he was using his powers to the utmost extent, allowing him to see things he originally would not wish to see such as the intimate affairs between two disciples in several residences, he was still unable to see the tiniest bit of trace of Khal.
It was almost like he has vanished into thin air right the very moment he left him alone!
As Elder Rene flew through the air, scanning all the Courts and buildings from the sky with a nonchalant face, suddenly the Moon Token in his pocket showed signs of slight trembling thus quickly grabbed it.
"Any news about him?" Senior Lin's frantic voice appeared from the other side of the token, causing Elder Rene to sigh in his heart.
"Unfortunately, I did not. As a fact, I can't even find a slight trace of him in the sect much less his body or corpse. Almost like he evaporated into nothingness."
"Impossible!" Senior Lin shouted up which caught off guard Elder Rene slightly as this was the very first time someone like Senior Lin showed concern toward someone else, particularly toward a disciple at that!
'Well, considering that disciple became a Core Disciple by the Ancestor's help the very moment he stepped foot inside the sect... no wonder she is so tense.' Elder Rene thought to himself and opened his mouth to ask a question, but suddenly a great tremor appeared out of nowhere, shaking the whole sect in its entirety following with a loud shout.
"DOGS OF THE MOON GODDESS! SHOW YOURSELVES IN THIS VERY INSTANT!"
BOOOM!
"!?"
Watching as a huge silver object, representing a half-broken gate, flew across the air and exploded into a building in the far distance, Elder Rene's complexion stiffened slightly and immediately vanished from the sky.
In the next second, on the opposite side of the sect from where the gate was just blown away, Elder Rene appeared and watched as several beings clad in black armor and terrifying aura stood before the main gate to the Outer Court!
'Night Crawlers!' Elder Rene's complexion turned slightly pale and became even paler when he realized it was nighttime!
"What is happening here?" Senior Lin together with the rest of the Elders appeared not long enough, but when they noticed the army of Night Crawlers in front of them, all of their expressions became as white as a sheet of paper.
"So you have finally decided to crawl out from your shithole, huh?" a Night Crawler clad in a deep blue armor, completely different from the the rest of the creatures behind him, took a step forward and stared at the humans with obvious disgust and hatred.
"Pathetic. Just as weak as ever." sneering coldly, the creature who was, in reality, the leader of the Night Crawler race, shifted his freezing stare at Senior Lin and asked, "I give you 1 minute to explain yourself before I burn this whole place down to the ground."
"What?" all the Elders together with Senior Lin looked stupefied when they heard what King Zell just said, and gradually began to panic from both confusion and fear.
"L-Lord Zell... Please, let's talk about this first. There must be a huge misunderstanding!" Senior Lin raised her hand forward, trying to remain calm, but her actions only made King Zell narrow his eyes and let his Cultivation Base go wild.
BAM!
Feeling the almost bone-crushing weight fell on her body, Senior Lin's pupils shrunk to the size of a needle while her occasionally indifferent face paled greatly.
'P-Peak Ascender Stage! We are screwed!'
"Haha! You are not only weak but even dare to move without my father's permission? Are you really that dumb or do you simply have a death wish?" a serene but devil-like voice appeared in everyone's ear the very next second before a beautiful figure with otherworldly features walked out from King's Zell's shadow and stood beside him.
Obsidian black skin that looked in regards to Night Crawlers was without any imperfections, bright yellow eyes that shone brighter than two pieces of golds, silk-smooth snow-white hair that fell behind her back like a waterfall, and assets that made her already voluptuous figure even more seductive and alluring to the eye than it originally was!
All those features that could drive even other races to madness over lust together with her pretty face that held a tiny bit of mischief, made her look like a succubus or little devil that no one could escape from no matter the struggle!
Her name was Lirit, a peak Limit Breaker existence that was also King Zell's only daughter even though he had many wives over the decades.
"Dad, there is no reason for you to listen to their pathetic lies. What I saw is more than enough, there is no reason for you to waste your time with them. Just kill them already."
Seeing the devilish grin on Lirit's face, Senior Lin and all the Elders under King Zell's pressure shuddered greater than before, feeling as the reaper's scythe that lingered around their necks until this moment tightened more and more by the second.
"L-Lord Zell... Please... We really have no clue... About what we did wrong! Please enlighten us!" Senior Lin forced herself to utter those words, hoping it will be enough to make King Zell believe her.
'...' King Zell remained silent for a while as he examined Senior Lin's face, but when he noticed she was not lying he snorted and withdrew his aura.
"I will give you 2 minutes to bring me your disciple who was on Planet Thov 3 days ago. If not, I don't care if it was your sect or not, this place together with all of your despisable lives will be razed from existence!"
