Spiritual Weapons.

Armaments that were born through extraordinary means in nature and had their very own consciousness together with the ability to get stronger just like any being all around the Realms!

The difference between a normal weapon forged from various ores or a Spiritual Weapon that was born through nature was akin to comparing a stick to a well-sharpened and honed katana; the contrast between the two was simply so vast that comparing the two was meaningless!

However, while Spiritual Weapons possessed great power and a fraction of consciousness where they had the ability to choose their own master, their numbers were rather low in all the Realms present.

Of course, this did not mean that there was only a handful of about a thousand or so, as the total number of Spiritual Weapons in existence easily reached the seven digits, but compared to the thousands of billions and trillions of weapons, their numbers paled greatly in comparison.

Thus, seeing that a human, a simple guard at that, who was only at the Fourth Cultivation Stage and only had the strength of a Body Temperer possessed a Spiritual Weapon Khal couldn't help but feel slightly startled.

"So? Who the hell are you? This is the final warning, kid!" while Khal was deep in thought, the smaller guard asked again and took a step forward, his body emitting a threatening aura that was akin to a sword, ready to be unsheathed and slice its target!

'Great Sword Aura! Even though his true strength is only comparable to a Body Temperer, he must be a real expert in the path of swords!' Khal praised the guard before him and said, "The name is Khal, a former pupil of Moon Academy and disciple of Logan! Principal Jas gave me the token after I have successfully graduated."

The guard who was ready to attack seeing that Khal finally replied halted his movements before nodding and lowering his weapon.

"See? It wasn't that hard to answer us, right?" the small guardian showed a friendly smile, a completely different behavior he just demonstrated a few moments ago, and gestured toward Khal, "Come, I will bring you to the Trial Room right away."

"Trial Room? What is that?" Khal raised a brow in confusion but still decided to follow the guard through the gate.

And when he did, his eyes opened slightly wide from awe. The moment he stepped through the gate, a spectacle he didn't expect emerged; the green grass below his feet suddenly turned shining silver, the slightly dark sky above cleared completely, becoming perfectly azure blue with milky white clouds floating slowly toward the west while a huge silver moon hovered in the far distance, half of its glorious form hidden below the horizon!

"Woah..." Khal felt completely flabbergasted from the breathtaking sight and couldn't surpass the urge to take a deep breath from the fresh air through his nostrils.

"Welcome to Moon Sect, kid. From now on, this is a place you can call home." the guard said with a calm smile while his chest was slightly pushed out when he saw how Khal just reacted.

"Maybe you don't know this, but before we can let you become a disciple officially, first you have to take a test which will determine what Title and Court you will occupy in Moon Sect."

"Title? Court?" Khal asked with curiosity while his eyes watched as several other humans in a silver robe were walking around the place, some looking almost as young as him while others looking several if not tens of years older than he was.

"Outer Court Disciple, Inner Court Disciple, and Core Disciple. Once you take the test, you will fall into one of these three, determining your future position and treatment you will get inside the Sect."

"What are the differences?" Khal shifted his gaze from the silver buildings on the side at the guard next to him, feeling that the following information he will be told will be important for him to know, hence listening carefully not to miss a thing won't hurt.

"The differences you ask?" the guard laughed and glanced at Khal with eyes as if he just heard a funny joke, "Everything! If you are not strong and get the lowest score on the test, you will become an Outer Court Disciple where life is literal hell as it does not matter if you are boy or girl, was rich or poor in the First Realm, or somehow hail from a strong Family, if you are strong you survive if not you will die. That is the kind of life you have to live if you become an Outer Court Disciple."

"However, if you are lucky enough to become an Inner Court Disciple, your life will turn a complete 180 degrees and you will soar from hell into heaven right away! The sect will value you like a treasure and help you grow stronger through different means! If you are lucky, you maybe get a chance to enter the Third Realm with their help too!"

Khal hearing this had a brief image of how life in the sect worked, but soon realized as there was one more thing that was not explained thus quickly asked, "And what about if I become a Core Disciple? I get even better treatment there right?"

When the guard heard this he halted his steps and looked at Khal, examining his whole figure from up to the bottom before letting out a slight chuckle, seemingly mocking him for the question.

"I am sorry to make you feel disappointed, but you have zero chance of becoming an Inner Court Disciple after the test much less a Core Disciple. I don't feel your cultivation base, thus if I am not wrong, you must be only at the First Stage. If I were you, I would already start thinking of ways how I could increase my strength the fastest way possible before dying who knows how in the Outer Court."

Khal narrowed his eyes slightly at the guard's words as it was slightly a soft spot for him when someone talked about killing him if he was not cautious enough.

The guard obviously noticed Khal's change of facial expression but just decided to shake his head, feeling slightly helpless. He just wished to help and warn Khal before he fell into someone's scheme and trap, but alas, if kind words won't help him realize the severity of the matter he won't push it any further.

He did what he could, there was no other reason for him to help any more than this.

"Anyways... We have arrived.." the guard said coolly and pointed toward a building in front of them.
