Chapter 30: Need Help? Then Shut Up!

The instant Khal heard what he was told, he just stood still in one place like a total idiot.

Looking at the person, who turns out to be the real Khal, he didn’t know what to say or do at all. The current situation was just simply way too surprising to him.

He was completely speechless.

The real Khal seeing that the one who just stole his body finally stood right before him like a dumbhead, frowned and started to walk forward with an angered expression.

“I said stop f*cking around and give my body b-.”, murmured the real Khal angrily as he raised his hand, obviously ready to punch.

However, just before he could have done anything, suddenly a voice sounded in the surroundings, perplexing both Khals at the same time.

*Swish!*

*Swish!*

*Swish!*

“!”

As those words sounded in the background, both of them watched with great surprise as silver chains appeared out of nowhere around the real Khal’s body and by pinning him to the ground, stopped him from moving even an inch.

“Wha… What did you do to me? And what was that sound?”, shouted the real Khal as he struggled to escape from the chains’ hold.

However, no matter how hard he tried to move, the chains around him were like a part of both of his body and the ground.

The only movement it let him to do fully was just upward and downward movements, like sitting down or standing up. But except for those small movements, the real Khal couldn’t move toward any direction at all.

He was truly restricted and he was unable to do anything against it.

When Khal, who watched all of this happening from the side in silence, saw this looked surprised, but naturally didn’t let the real Khal to see it.

Instead, he walked closer to him and started to examine him from up close.

Because he didn’t have a mirror back in the orphanage and also didn’t have the time to watch himself in the hospital, he wasn’t able to see how he looked from the outside.

But even like that, he still believed he had a good-looking appearance even though the body was originally not his.

And just as he thought, he was right. He had smooth, black-colored hair which was almost unnatural with the glamorous emerald green pair of eyes he had.freewebn ovel.com

His skin was almost as smooth as a girl’s, but that he noticed since the very beginning, so it was not a big surprise for him at all. Rather, what made him surprised was the body shape he had.

He had the typical slim yet strong body shape, which would make any girl fall for him, but only if he had the proper amount of muscle on. Unfortunately, however, he didn’t have, because he, or to be more precise the real Khal was living in an orphanage for years.

With only mashed potato and a slice of bread every day, no matter how hard you try to exercise, because of the lack of nutrients and vitamins, the muscles in your body are incapable of growing after an extent.

However, it was still a surprise for him how did this fragile-looking body from the outside look so good even after all that.

As Khal thought about this, the real Khal started to frown deeply and said angrily, “Stop looking at me you b*tch and unseal my body! Now or you will pay for it!”

Straightening his back, Khal looked at the real Khal with an unfazed expression and started to think.

“It seems he doesn’t know what is happening here either. Also, as I can see he is very cocky and arrogant, so asking questions from him should be completely useless right now.”

As he thought about this, Khal raised his head and started to look around.

“This place is filled with greyness, no matter where I look. Just where am I and how did I get here in the first place? Should there be a connection with the notification before I went to sleep?”

While Khal tried to figure out the mystery behind all the current happenings, the real Khal turned even angrier and shouted, “Didn’t you hear me?! I am talking to you, you asshole! If I talk to you, you listen, understood?!”

“…”

Annoyed by the continuous shouting, Khal glanced at the real Khal who was still struggling to get out of the chains’ tight hold, and grabbed him by his jaw.

“Okay, listen here you pillock. Just like you, I don’t know what happened with us either, so stop crying like an 8-year-old and shut up! I have bigger problems than to listen to your egoistical cries!”

“P…pillock? What the f*ck is that-, the hell?!”, shouted the real Khal as he was pushed powerfully to the ground.

Standing up and looking down at the real Khal, he frowned slightly and said quietly, “It seems you are not only bumptious but stupid too.”

“B-Bumptious?! Stupid?! Just you wait, once I get out of these chains I will…!”

Seeing as the real Khal struggled, even more, to get out of the chains, but obviously, only in vain, Khal shook his head helplessly and sighed.

“Look. I want to help not only on me but on you too. But if you still continue to act like this, it will be useless.”

“?”

When the real Khal heard this, he stopped moving around and looked at Khal with an ice-cold glare.

“What could a fake like you do at all? You stole my body and now you try to say you want to help? What a joke!”

Khal hearing this shook his head gently and said, “I did not steal your body. Believe it or not, I am not even from this world.”

“?!”

When the real Khal heard this, he turned stunned, but after a small while, he clenched his teeth and started to hiss.

“And you think I will believe that ridiculous tale of yours?”

However, to his surprise, Khal shook his head and said, “Not at all. If I were you, I wouldn’t believe it either. But if you want me to help you, you need to believe me. Or, you can choose not to, but then you will stay here forever. It is your choice.”

“…”

Looking deep into Khal’s eyes, the real Khal tried to find out any clue that could tell him he was just told a lie or not.

But even after several minutes in silence, it turned out he was unable to find any, meaning he was just told the truth.

Because of this, after a small while, later the real Khal sighed and said, “I see… Then let’s say I will believe you. So? How do you intend to help me?”

Khal seeing that the real Khal relaxed a bit and didn’t act all cocky as previously smiled and said, “Well, for me to help you, I need to know you better, so first tell me everything about you and the things that lead all the way here. I will do the same too.”

The real Khal hearing this frowned, but knowing that if he wanted to escape this place he needed to work with this ‘impostor’, so he had no other choice at all but to talk.

As a result, he sighed slightly and said, “My name is Khal Nevio, but I guess you already know this, so please just call me Neo. My friends in the past always called me like this, so I’m more comfortable with that than my original name.”
