The three retreated rapidly while making sure the Moonlight Rabbit was lured toward the outside where the sun was already high in the air.

According to the Record of All Realms, Moonlight Rabbits will have their strength reduced by at least half under the daylight hence why the three decided to bring it outside the cave before attempting to kill it.

However, the creature was not completely a nincompoop either. After it noticed the sunlight at the end of the cave it realized what Khal and the two men planned to do, so it quickly stopped in its track but was quickly forced to continue its way forward because of the exploding wind blades.

Khal smiled. Upon seeing that the beast was incapable of escape he quickened his steps and approached the entrance of the cave faster than before while making sure to give no chance for the creature to escape.

The first one to exit the cave was Jas who used his fist to punch the ground with all his might, forming a ridiculous deep pit that was at least a hundred meters deep!

Next, Logan emerged from the cave and jumped inside the pit while he waved his hand, summoning thick and tall abyss black flames in a huge circular shape around the pit's edge and the cave's entrance, sealing off all the escape routes the beast maybe wish to use during their fight.

"Here I come!" Khal's voice sounded from the cave and the next second his figure could be seen jumping down, followed by the Moonlight Rabbit which was forced to jump after him as the cave exploded with hundreds of wind blades the very second it did.

Landing inside the pit with a powerful 'Bam!' that cracked the ground below Khal's feet, Khal turned around and watched the creature in front of him that seemed troubled and nervous.

Jas and Logan appeared at the left and right side of the beast too, trapping it in the center of a triangle formation.

While the three watched the creature in silence, the Moonlight Rabbit suddenly fixed its gaze at the sun above before it shifted its attention at Khal who smiled at it mockingly.

'Although you have surpassed the Ninth Cultivation Stage, if your strength is halved you are no better than an ant ready to be slain!'

However, his smile was quickly erased from his face as the very next moment he thought that the beast flashed before his face, its claws inches away from splitting his throat wide open!

"!?"

Clang!

Reacting just in time, Khal used his Devil Fangs to protect himself, but unexpectedly the moment the beast's claws got into contact with his weapon Khal felt a ridiculous amount of strength pressing onto him, sending his body fly into the distance right away!

BOOM!

"Cough!" exploding into the wall on the side, Khal felt as though he was just hit by a train causing blood to gush into his mouth!

Jas and Logan were shocked to see this as this sight. Khal told them the Moonlight Rabbit's strength should have been reduced the moment it was under daylight, but it seemed it was not the case at all. As a fact, it was even faster than before!

Khal staggered out of the gash he was buried in and looked at the beast in front of him with a deep grimace.

'So this how strong it is when its strength had been halved? This creature is in a completely different realm!' Khal thought calmly while he wiped the blood off the corner of his mouth.

Although Jas and Logan felt skeptical about the issue where the Moonlight Rabbit gets weaker under the sunlight, Khal didn't. He was perfectly sure that the information about the beast was valid as the attack just now was only a bit stronger than the World Devourer's back in the Neverending Dungeon.

It was obvious the Moonlight Rabbit had been weakened and just simply didn't use its full strength when they were still inside the cave!

'This will be harder than I have thought!' Khal frowned, but was not given the time to think any further than that as the beast moved once again, and just like previously, it appeared right before him akin to thunder!

Swish!

Khal, however, learning from his previous mistake didn't dare to use his weapon as a shield, and decided to tilt his body to the side, narrowly avoiding the beast's attack before swinging his sword and slashing a shallow cut into its body.

[Fraction of Lifeforce has been stolen. Your lifespan has increased by 1 year!]

Ever since he acquired his Life and Death Sword Khal was curious to see just what his sword's full potential was and as he experimented with it, he was not left unsurprised.

During his journey to the Western Continent, Khal fought a lot with his Life and Death Sword and uncovered many mysteries. And out of the many hidden secrets, Khal found out that just a slight scratch from his sword was capable of stealing others' life force, meaning he just has to make his sword get in contact with his enemies in accordance to kill them!

It was akin to putting a flower below the burning sun during summer and watching it get sucked dry from the immense heat! Without spilling any blood, Khal was able to kill anyone without a problem!

However, it didn't mean this ability of his was completely invincible as he had to make his sword touch his target directly, or else it is nothing but a useless tool. And it seemed the Moonlight Rabbit realized right after it tasted the feeling of losing a year's worth of life essence just from a single scratch.

Thus why it quickly changed its target and decided to attack jas, who was seemingly the least threat to it and perfect prey as he not only had no armor and shield to protect himself as Khal did, but also was a fighter that used only his fists! For it, such a target was the perfect and the easiest one to kill!

"Hmph..." Jas sneered slightly upon seeing this and quickly summoned a pair of azure gloves around his fists that emitted an icy aura which made the surrounding temperature drop several levels right away!

"Come!" Jas roared with rock-solid resolution and threw a punch at the creature which traveled hundreds of meters in a split second and was ready to sever his head off from his body!
