Liza stared at Rubie with awe before her eyes quickly turned bright, her whole body emitting happiness.

Since Khal made Rubie follow her, even though she felt a little bit annoyed by her at first, she quickly began to love and adore her and that is why she tried to make Rubie get stronger in every possible way.

However, after letting her consume tons of Beast Essence, she failed to help her break her bottleneck and make her a True Beast, so seeing that Khal helped her made her feel delighted.

Khal smiled too seeing this as he first didn't expect such a result, but now that Rubie was much stronger, he didn't fear Liza will be in danger while he was far away.

"One more thing before I leave," Khal caressed Rubie's soft body and then said, but now with a much-lowered tone of voice, "Make sure to avoid the Ourvi Family at all cost. I don't know what they will try to do while I am away, but I am sure they plan nothing good."

He then explained how he and Liza were stalked by one of their men since Alde's death, but since their time in the Fiery Grassland, there was no news from them, thus why he felt like that something was not quite right and decided to warn Liza beforehand.

Liza, however, after hearing what he said sneered coldly, "Even if you would offer me half of the world, I would still decide to kill myself than talk with them much less join them! What they did is unforgivable and once I have enough strength, I will make sure they regret their decision that night!"

The way of firmness and ice-coldness that Liza talked with made Khal shake his head gently, but not because he thought what she wanted to do was ridiculous, but because even before she has the chance to do something, the Ourvi Family will be completely annihilated by him..

"Anyways, just promise me you won't do anything reckless," said Khal after a while.

"Sure, I won't. I promise." Liza nodded.

After talking for a bit more, Khal bid farewell to Liza and walked away.

"Well then, which route should I take?" Khal murmured in a low voice as he stared at a map in his hand which he bought even before he went to talk with Jas.

"Even though I plan to reach the Western Continent, I also intend to kill as many Beasts as I can and increase my strength on the way."

After pondering for a while, Khal fixed his gaze at a specific route and nodded, "Yeah, this one will be perfect."

And thus, without saying anything else Khal activated his Secret Art and vanished into the distance.

Inside a dense forest, two figures walked next to each other in a relaxed manner, both wearing crimson robes that had golden fire symbols on them.

The two walked for hours while chatting with each other happily, even killing Beast on the Seventh Cultivation Stage as though they were mere ants, when suddenly both halted their steps, their complexion turning rather serious.

"Did you feel it?" The guy that wielded a longsword asked his friend quietly.

"Yeah." the other guy responded with a slow nod, his grip around his spear even tightening by the second.

Both stood still for minutes, starting at their surroundings with raised guards when suddenly one of the bushes on their sides began to move, making the guy with the spear react first with lightning speed.

"There you are!"

Swish!

BOOM!

With a powerful trust that felt like it pierced the space, the guy stabbed his weapon in the direction where the movement came, blowing up a huge area that left behind nothing but a deep crater together with flying debris in the air.

"Did I kill it?" the guy looked confused, but soon his face paled and turned around in a flash.

Clang!

"Don't lower your guard no matter what! It's a Thunder Spirit!" the guy with the sword told his friend calmly, while he proceeded to swing his sword, which deflected the previous attack, targeting the creature that sat not far away from them on a tree's branch.

It was a small beast with a size of a human baby. It had an appearance of a squirrel but with the sole exception that its fur and body were made out of nothing but swirling and chaotic yellow thunder while its claws and teeth looked sharper than a razor!

However, the most terrifying aspect was not its appearance but the aura it emitted. Just by giving it, a single glance made one realize that this small beast was by no means a weak creature as it emitted an aura that was close to the Ninth Cultivation Stage, meaning it was already at the peak of the Eighth Cultivation Stage!

The Thunder Spirit stared at the nearing sword with its deep yellow eyes before it let out a thin but sharp cry and vanished from the spot where it was a moment ago.

"Watch out!" the guy with the spear cried out with shock as he noticed the Thunder Spirit appear next to his friend, its long and pointed claws targeting his neck with terrifying speed.

The guy's complexion that was attacked turned pale in a flash once seeing this as he knew that there was nothing he could do to stop the Thunder Spirit's assault.

'Fuck!' the guy cursed in his heart and closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to pierce his neck, but just as that could have happened a black flash appeared out of thin air and pierced the Thunder Spirit's body.

Paff!

"E...Eh? W-Who?" The guy who was about to meet his ancestors opened his eyes and stared at the Thunder Spirit on the ground that lay before his feet, now completely lifelessly.

Even the guy with the spear looked confused as everything happened just way too fast, but before he had the chance to talk, a young man in a silver robe casually emerged from the shadows while his face held a calm smile.

"I hope it was not a problem that I have interrupted your fight, right?" Khal asked calmly from the guy with the sword.
