Inside a small but spacious room, on top of a bed, a young man was sitting calmly in a lotus position, his eyes gently closed while his body was covered in a profound aura.
Time passed in silence and after an unknown amount of time, the young man opened his eyes, revealing a pair of emerald green eyes that held nothing but calmness.

Khal listened to Nova's voice in silence before he closed his eyes once again and sighed deeply.
So far a week has gone by since the accident he has caused, and since then he was doing nothing but helping to rebuild the Blacksmithing Department.
Luckily, the process went quickly, and in just a few days of constant working a whole new department was built and he was able to continue his cultivation without a problem.
So far, he was able to unseal five Essence Paths, accumulating his amount of unlocked paths to thirteen!
"Nine more and I will have all my sealed Essence Paths unlocked," said Khal quietly, but he knew it will take him more than nine days to unseal all of his remaining Essence Paths.
'Even though it still takes me a few minutes to comprehend the Essence Paths' meaning and unlock them, it still gets harder and harder over time.. It looks I will have to increase my traits even more.'
As Khal thought about this, he glanced at his bracelet and checked his current Cultivation Quests.

Khal glanced over the three quests and nodded. Just as he thought, since he reached the Seventh Stage the quests became even harder to complete but at the same time, the rewards he can acquire became better too.
It was pretty obvious especially when he saw the third quest where he had to consume five soul petals.
Soul Petals were petals of a so-called Soul Flower which was extremely hard to find, and even if one was lucky enough to find one it was not sure that a Soul Flower would grow a single petal!
It was said that only after a hundred years did one Soul Petal grew, thus even a Soul Flower with a single petal could be sold for a tremendous amount of money, much less one with five!
"I need to find not one but five? Under twenty-four hours it will be simply impossible." Khal mumbled with a frown.
[Maybe, with normal means it is indeed an impossible task, but I know a perfect place where you should find enough Soul Petals for your quest.]
[However, it is a very dangerous place where even the slightest mistake can mean your death. After knowing this, do you still wish to know where this place is?]
Khal listened to Nova's voice in silence before he nodded and said, "Yeah, tell me."

Just as Nova was about to start talking, suddenly someone knocked on the door, confusing Khal.
"Just who could it be?" Khal asked from himself and stood up before walking to the door to open it.
"Huh? Liza? Rubie? What are you guys doing here? Did something happen?" Khal asked Liza the moment he noticed she was the one standing before her, feeling extremely happy that she was doing perfectly.
During the one week of his helping to rebuild the Blacksmithing Department, he got to learn that Jane has taken Liza away to help her in her cultivation, thus why she wasn't present during the accident.
Liza stood before Khal with a deep frown on her delicate face before looking at Khal from to bottom and asked, "Why are we here? What do you think why?"
Khal could only smile bitterly at that before waving his hand, "Yeah. Well, about that, as you can see I am perfectly fine and everything has been taken care of, so you don't have to worry. Instead, tell me, how was the trip with Jane?"
"With Master? It was great, but exhausting." Liza started to tell the story as Khal let her inside and told him everything that happened in the short period while she was away with Jane.
Time quickly passed, and after chatting with each other for hours, Liza told Khal she had to do a few more things thus after saying her goodbye she went away with Rubie still on her shoulder. It seems the two became really good friends and formed a great bond with each other since the start which made Khal smile.
If he was not around, he could be at ease that Rubie will protect Liza and that is what he wanted.
"Well then... Where was I?" Khal powdered before nodded and said, "Ah, yeah. The place where I can find Soul Petals. So Nova, where is it?"

Somewhere in the northern region of the Southern Continent, a vast wasteland almost akin to a desert was located, which was filled with several deep and long fissures almost everywhere the eye could see. There were a few fissures that were no deeper and longer than a few hundred meters, but there were also some which bottom and end were unseen!
And exactly at the edge of this seemingly infinitely deep and long chasm, Khal was standing calmly, his hair and silver robe fluttering in the wind.
Khal stared down at the blackness with a nonchalant look before asking, 'It should be somewhere here, right?'
[Yes. Although it is a bit hard to pinpoint the exact location, I am pretty sure this is where the entrance will be.]
[Now you just need to reach the bottom and find the seal.]
Khal nodded when he heard this and without asking about anything more he jumped into the fissure, his hand already holding his Devil Fangs.
