Khal opened his eyes and examined his body, only to find with a shock that his fifth Essence Path was opened with no effort at all!
Just by using his Body Essence and pushing it against the sealed gate, he was able to open it as though he just took a deep breath! It was shocking!
"What happened? Where is the enlightenment? Why is it that I didn't have to comprehend the meaning behind this path?"
While Khal pondered on this question, suddenly Nova's gentle chuckle resounded in his head before she started to talk.
[You don't need to feel startled. Because of your increased Mental and Soul Strength, the way you comprehend the Essence Paths' meaning increased drastically too!]
"What? How could that be possible? I don't even remember what the meaning of the fifth path was!"
[Really? Then why don't you try to think back?]
Khal frowned after hearing Nova saying this, but still did what she just said to him. However, exactly a second later as he closed his eyes to recall what happened a few seconds ago, his eyes shot wide open, his face holding deep shock!
"H-How can this even be possible?" Khal mumbled, hardly believing what he just recalled.
For some strange reason, he could remember himself doing movement techniques against thousands of enemies for days and nights in his mind, even though he could clearly recall he was just sitting in one place for no longer than a few seconds!
This was something he has never experienced before but this also made him finally realize what his Soul Strength among his Cultivation Traits real meant. While his Mental Strength improved his concentration and strengthened his willpower, his Soul Strength improved his speed of comprehension!
Now he finally understood why he didn't see Cultivation Quest before that rewarded him with Soul Strength as there were no Quests so far that was about understanding complex things!
"Interesting. I am curious to see if I can understand and learn complex Secret Arts in the future if I continue to increase it." Khal smiled and quickly closed his to see just how far can he go and how many Essence Paths can he unseal.

In a single minute, Khal opened another three Essence Paths in his right arm, stupifying him so deeply that he couldn't even talk for a long while.
Though, it was only natural as anyone else that would see this sight would become just as flabbergasted as normally, a Cultivator needed several days if not months or years to unlock just a single Essence Path!
Yet, Khal, just like some kind of crazy cheater ignored this common sense that was applied to all and went and unsealed four Essence Paths without any effort a bit more than a minute!
If anyone would have seen this sight they would definitely not call him a human any longer as this broke through the limits any human could do, making him a terrifying monster!
"Will I be able to unseal all my Essence Paths like this? Isn't this somewhat... Easy?" Khal asked with a raised brow, but deep inside he couldn't feel any happier at all.
This not only meant he can reach the Ninth Cultivation Stage in a bit more than a month but that his desire to demolish the Ourvi Family from this planet's surface once and for all will happen sooner than anticipated!

[If you rush things and decide to unlock all your Essence Paths at once, your body can become a cripple as it couldn't get used to the additional 'body parts'.]
Khal knew what Nova meant thus nodded and asked, "Then how many and how occasionally should I unlock my Essence Paths."
Nova remained silent for a while, seemingly pondering over the answer, but soon quickly replied.
[Unlocking a Path once a day should be the best as your body will have time to adapt to the new changes. Any more than that can cause permanent and irreversible effects.]
When Khal heard this his body stiffened up as he just now unlocked four under a minute!
[You don't need to fear, you will be okay as your body is strong enough to take such a blow once or twice. Just make sure not to repeat this continuously or you can die quite easily.]
Khal sighed with relief when he heard Nova and quickly nodded. However, now that he had eight Essence Paths unlocked, an amount that allowed him to break into the Seventh Stage, he knew what he should do, thus stood up and walked to the door.

"Are you sure what you just told me? A Lava Fruit and a Magma Golem in the Fiery Grassland? And the latter one was killed with ease by a Sixth Stage Cultivator?" Anred stood in the middle of a spacious room while a man in a black robe that covered his entire face kneeled before him with a lowered head and motionless body.
"Yes, my Lord, that is exactly what happened. What's more, when I tried to approach the Lava Fruit and take it away, I was noticed by the boy hence why I couldn't bring the treasure back to me." the man talked with his head still lowered.
"You, one of the Shadows, were noticed by a boy that was not even on the Seventh Stage? How is that possible?" Anred frowned, his face holding obvious signs of not believing the man's story.
The man seemed to feel the awkwardness in the air, thus quickly lowered his head even more, almost making his forehead touch the ground, and proceed on saying, "My Lord, I am telling the truth. I shall take on any type of punishment if I lie to you, my Lord!"
When Anred heard this his tight frown gradually relaxed, and crossed his arms before his chest.
After pondering for a while in deep silence, Anred nodded and asked, "I see, I believe you..."
The man hearing this seemed to sigh with relief, but that was quickly washed away as Anred continued to talk.
"Only if you tell me how, one of the Shadows, was noticed by a mere boy that just only became a Sixth Stage Cultivator. Also, what happened with the Lava Fruit? Did the girl die?"
Hearing the rapid questions together with the sharp and intense gaze on his skin, the man felt his back getting soaked with cold sweat, while he had to swallow hugely from nervousness.
