Khal couldn't help but smile before opening his Artifact Creation Status and glance at the remaining few abilities he still didn't obtain.

Khal cursed out loud by accident the moment he noticed the amount of time he has to wait once he used his Life Creation Mode which was simply ridiculous!
However, he quickly realized his mistake as a lot of people turned their attention to him, thus cleared his throat and bowed before apologizing.
'Still, waiting half a year just after one use... just how long will be the time limit on the God Creation Mode? A year? Or more?' Khal thought after saying his apology to the guests in the room and began to ponder.
Though, after several minutes of deep thinking later he gave up the idea of unlocking either of the abilities as he didn't have enough Body Essence and he didn't wish to die yet.
Thus, he just made the words vanish before raising his hand into the air while saying, "I would like to pay, please!"

After paying 7 golden coins, Khal decided to head right into the wild, or to be more specific onto Moon Mountain, to hunt for Beasts and increase his Body Essence once again.
However, not even as he started his hunt, he saw two figures descending from the mountain, each holding a serious complexion without talking.
"Logan and Jas?" Khal immediately recognized the two and without a second thought approached them.
The two men obviously noticed Khal's approach thus stopped in their tracks, but even then they remained silent, confusing Khal quite a lot.
"Why are you two so serious? And what happened with you? Your clothes and body are a real mess!" Khal asked from the two men as once he was closer he noticed both robes had holes, dirt, and burn marks all over the place.
And knowing that Moon Academy's robes were quite durable as they couldn't be cut or burnt so easily, Khal's shock deepened a level more while his interest got piqued also.
However, Jas just shook his head before sighing almost like just missed an insanely huge opportunity that could have changed his life.
"We are fine, but still, make sure not to approach the peak of this mountain or you will die miserably."
"Die? Why? What is up there? H-Hey!" Khal asked the two, but instead of answering his question both Logan and Jas shook their heads and walked away with heavy steps.
"Just what could have happened with them to feel so depressed?" Khal felt pretty confused but as he didn't want to chase after the two, he shifted his gaze in a specific direction where Moon Mountain's peak was above the milk-white clouds.
Meanwhile, Logan and Jas walked with slow and heavy steps next to each other, almost as if they have just come back from a long and hard-fought battle.
The two remained like that for quite a long time, but soon Logan halted his steps and glanced at Jas.
"We must do something! We can't just leave without killing 'that'! That's something not even the Cultivation Organization knows about! It's a huge possibility not only for Moon City to rise to the top but also for us to become even stronger!"
Jas stopped walking before turning around to meet Logan's gaze, but soon could only sigh helplessly and shake his head, "Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. You saw it with your own eyes too and except for that sole passage, we can't enter the Moon Temple, or not until 'that' is there protecting the path from any intruders."
"Then what do you want to do? Do you wish to leave without giving it another try?"
Jas hearing Logan's words shook his head before saying, "Of course not as even I know that temple is a real treasure in itself, but until 'that' is there we have no choice at all. Hell, I think there is not even a single individual in the entire First Realm that could rival such a being!"
Logan turned silent after Jas' words deep in thought as he knew Jas was right. Existence in the First Realm that had the ability to kill even him, a Cultivator on the Ninth Stage... Just thinking back alone how lucky he was by escaping 'that' with his life still intact made a cold shiver run down his spine!
"Just how can a creature such as 'that' exist in the first place" murmured Logan quietly before shifting his gaze at the clouds in the sky that hid the mountain's peak, leaving only one's imagination to think what could there possibly be.
