Chapter 1207 Doting Grandfather
Following Chun Hua into the estate under the eyes of more than a dozen people secretly observing him from the shadows, Xuan Hao soon arrived at the central part of the estate where the divine sense trying to probe him earlier had come from. Making it rather easy to guess that Chun Hua had led him directly to the place where the ancestor of the Chun Family resided.

Outside of that, he still felt the now rather familiar divine sense that should belong to the old ancestor of the Chun Family and Chun Hua grandfather clearly keeping an eye on him. The main difference compared to when he had been outside the Chun Family Estate was the fact that the divine sense wasn't probing him any longer and instead felt like a sword ready to strike at any moment, a clear indication that the old ancestor no longer thought of him as someone in the Domain Lord Realm but instead treated him like a peer.
Even if it was a little extreme to do something like that just because he had managed to notice his divine sense, the current situation of the Chun Family made it impossible for the old ancestor to let down his guard.
"Senior, my grandfather is waiting inside. Although he is a bit stronger than the other elders of my family, he is really kind, I already told him about how we met and how the mark you gave me saved my life."
Not aware of any of this, Chun Hua praised her grandfather with a slight smile making its way to her face before she walked forward and opened the large wooden door leading into the pavilion.
Even if you told your dear grandfather that I'm not from the Astorion Empire and instead somewhere far away that isn't a part of the central region, he doesn't seem to fully trust your words…
Shaking his head as he thought this to himself while feeling the terrifying divine sense belonging to someone in the Dao Seed Realm surrounding the two of them, Xuan Hao followed Chun Hua into the pavilion to meet this powerful grandfather of his future fifth disciple-

However, he only managed to take a single step inside the pavilion before an old man appeared in front of him with a suspicious expression on his face.
"So, you are the person who saved my granddaughter? Might I ask for what reason you have come to the Chun Family? You should have learnt about the current situation of this place on your way here. Not to mention, the Sky Empire is located extremely far away from the Astorion Empire, and one would either have to cross through the Blue Sea Empire and either go through four smaller empires and countless dangerous regions or pass through the more dangerous primeval jungle!"

"Not now little Hua. Ehm… As far as I know, the connection between you and my granddaughter is nowhere near strong enough for you to do something like this. Chun Hua thought his reason might be related to something he had sensed through the mark he had left behind inside of her, while the old man's imagination was a little too imaginative.
"Yes, I wanted to take you in as a disciple when we first met but given your family circumstances and the fact that I was busy at the moment, I could only delay it for later and leave you with something to defend yourself in case you encountered anything dangerous on your journey back through the primeval jungle." Nodding his head as he said this, Xuan Hao decided that it would be best not to tell her that he was far too weak back then to help out with her family problem, something that only became clearer after he realized that her grandfather was someone in the Dao Seed Realm.
If he had tried to take her in as a disciple back then, she would likely have asked him to help her family in return, something that would have been impossible…
"Really!? You came all the way here to take me in as a disciple!?
"Yes!"
"This… My family still needs my help and I-"
"What if I help out your family?" Knowing that Chun Hua was about to refuse him, Xuan Hao quickly stopped her by offering to help deal with her family's current situation.
Considering that the other party had not dared to directly attack the Chun Family, it was clear that the other party shouldn't be that much stronger than the Chun Family. Even my grandfather said he wasn't confident!"

Deciding to embellish the strength of the Star Shattering Sect a bit as he reassured her, Xuan Hao also made sure to make the Star Shattering Sect attractive in the eyes of the old ancestor of the Chun Family.
After all, he didn't just need to convince Chun Hua about joining the Star Shattering Sect, but also had to convince the old man to take away his granddaughter, something he had a feeling would be far harder than convincing Chun Hua to become his disciple.
"Star Shattering Sect…?" Frowning to himself as he heard what Xuan Hao said, Chun Hua's grandfather narrowed both his eyes as he seemed deep in thought. "Ha… I have never heard about the Star Shattering Sect before but considering that your strength is a mystery to me even now, I have a feeling that your sect shouldn't be weak by any means. Especially considering the brief description of the place given by little Hua after she returned."
"Indeed! The qi in that place is far richer than grandfather's old pavilion! Far better for cultivation!" Nodding her head upon hearing what her grandfather said, Chun Hua could not help showing a look of awe upon remembering the dense and rich qi present on the Shattered Star Peaks.
"Ahm! Y-you don't have to say it like that. Don't you know how many precious resources your grandfather spent to create this pavilion!?"
"Is it wrong?"
"This..." Not knowing how to answer as he recalled the description of the place and seeing his adorable little granddaughter looking up at him with a confused expression on her face, the old man could only swallow his words…
