Chapter 1169 Talented Disciples, New Elders, Requirments to Becoming a Core Disciple

Outside of the different elders who had managed to improve their strength since coming to the Shattered Star Peaks, there were also quite a few disciples who managed to stand out over the past few years that weren't among Xuan Hao's four disciples.

Among these disciples, the most well-known was a young man called Lu Wen who joined the sect at the same time as Qing Yi and ended up becoming the disciple of Wang Hu, one of the two twin brothers originally part of the few Nascent Soul Realm Experts back in the Flying Sword Sect.

Back then, although his strength had been superior to most other disciples in the Flying Sword Sect, it was only after moving to the Shattered Star Peaks that his talent truly began to shine. Allowing him to reach the Peak of the Core Formation Realm in a relatively short period of time, cementing him as one of the strongest disciples in the sect and also one of the few who were seen as having the potential to be among the Star Shattering Sect's first batch of Nascent Soul Realm disciples.

However, his cultivation was not the thing that made him the most well-known disciple in the sect. Instead, it was the fact that he always had a group of senior and junior sisters following him around, drawing the ire of quite a few jealous male disciples.

Of course, this was not the only reason, as there was another reason he was known among the disciples of the sect and that was the fact that he always happened to find himself in locations he shouldn't be in, the most frequented location being the baths of the female disciples. Earning him the title of a lawless pervert in the eyes of a large number of the female disciples.

In the end, when looking through the information on this Lu Wen, Xuan Hao found out that he had been caught by the law enforcement of the sect more than a hundred times over the past few years due to trespassing into random bathhouses used by the female disciples.

The only reason why he hadn't been severely punished being due to the fact that he had always accidentally fallen or stumbled into these bathhouses while either being chased by someone or because he was late for a lecture and tried to take a shortcut to save some time.

Someone should put a stop to this little menace…

Shaking his head as he thought about this after looking through the law enforcement elders reports on Lu Wen, Xuan Hao felt that it might be a good idea for Wang Hu to teach this naughty disciple a lesson before he ended up causing even more trouble.

After all, from what he could see, twenty percent of the law enforcement elders time was used on resolving cases involving this Lu Wen…

Not thinking too much about this little troublemaker after sending a quick message to Wang Hu about it through his communication talisman, Xuan Hao began looking at the other disciples who had managed to stand out since the establishment of the Star Shattering Sect.

Outside of the troublemaker Lu Wen, there was also the beloved granddaughter of Elder Song, Song Jia, who had managed to reach the Core Formation Realm. Although she wasn't well-known in the sect due to spending most of her time cultivating or playing together with Mui and Qing Yi, she was still among the most talented disciples of the sect.

At the same time, two of the girls following around Lu Wen, Yi Xuan and Wang Shufen were also among the outstanding disciples of the sect, both being in the Core Formation Realm, while Yi Xuan even had a status above that of Lu Wen due to the fact that she was the personal disciple of Zu Fei, a Core Elder in the Domain Lord Realm.

On the more unknown side, that Xuan Hao had never heard about before, was a brother and sister pair who had recently joined the sect. Although they were still in the Qi Condensation Realm and were both Outer Sect Disciples, their talent made them stand out among their peers, causing quite a few of the elders in the sect to start eyeing them as potential personal disciples.

There were of course many more talented disciples outside of these few, they just weren't enough to catch his attention.

At least, after a quick look through the disciples of the sect, Xuan Hao managed to determine that the average strength of the disciples had reached the Foundation Establishment Realm, with more than a hundred of them managing to reach the Core Formation Realm. Not including some of the older disciples who were already close to a hundred years old, who ended up reaching the Peak of the Core Formation Realm before choosing to become outer sect elders.

Of course, even though they became outer sect elders, it didn't mean that they intended to give up on becoming stronger, it was just that they chose a different path. After all, they would be able to take on more difficult missions unavailable to disciples and earn more resources by becoming elders, while at the same time also being granted a certain level of authority in the sect that they didn't have while being disciples.

The only unfortunate thing so far, was the fact that there weren't any core disciples outside of Chu Yang and Qing Yi, as the requirement to become a core disciple had been changed to reaching the Nascent Soul Realm below the age of 50.

Although this requirement might have been impossible in the past, this was no longer the case, as there were quite a few disciples who showed enough hope of reaching the Nascent Soul Realm before the age of 50. The most well-known being the troublemaker Lu Wen who had already reached the Peak of the Core Formation.

In a sense, it was also because of this change that many of the older disciples had decided to change into outer sect elders after reaching the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and work their way towards becoming a normal sect elder by reaching the Nascent Soul Realm, as they had long exceeded the age requirement for becoming a Core Disciples.

Rumble~!

Just as Xuan Hao was lost in how own thoughts while thinking about the current state of the sect's disciples and newer elders, a loud rumbling sound echoed throughout the entire sect before being followed by a terrifying aura that appeared from a corner of the Shattered Star Peaks before covering the entire Seventh Star Peak.

"Wha-what is that?!"

"Is someone attacking the sect!? Who dares!?"

"No… This is-"

Not a second later, loud exclamation echoed out from all over the sect. Interrupting the peaceful daily life of the elders and disciples who were left in a state of confusion and fear after feeling the terrifying aura spreading out to cover the entire Seventh Star Peak.

"Someone is breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm…" Muttering this to himself as he instantly realized what was happening, Xuan Hao could not help smiling happily as his divine sense soon spread out and forcibly isolated the terrifying aura before it had a chance to cause any damage.

Looking more closely at the person behind the terrifying aura and the one currently in the process of breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao was a bit surprised, as the person in question was none other than the grand elder of the half spirit race.

Although the old man had already been close to reaching the Domain Lord Realm and it would only be a matter of time before he broke through to the Domain Lord Realm, he didn't expect him to break through so quickly and thought it would at least take him another few years before it would happen.

Observing the situation more closely with his divine sense, he soon found a small and familiar looking crystal next to the old man and instantly understood how he had been able to shorten the time needed to break through to the Domain Lord Realm.

"A source crystal… Never expected the old man to be lucky enough to find one…" Shaking his head as he said this, Xuan Hao decided to keep an eye on the old man and make sure his domain didn't end up causing too much damage to the Shattered Star Peaks during his breakthrough, while at the same time informing Feng Chen and the rest about the situation so they could calm down some of the restless disciples and elders who thought the sect was under attack.

At the very least, the grand elder of the half spirit race was a bit more thoughtful with where he broke through and decided to do it in a somewhat isolated location in a corner of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Even if he was not around, the damage caused by his domain being out of control at the start shouldn't do too much damage to the sect. Different from a certain someone who decided to break through to the Domain Lord Realm on the Seventh Star Peak…
