Tian was fireproof but even her skin was badly burned by the blast, the sea blue flames turned invisible burning everything and anything that was in close vicinity. None of the zombies that were close to the dome were spared.
Everything was reduced to dust. Even she couldn't summon a flame this strong. 'Who was that…' she dashed close to the blast space to see a huge crater forming in the middle.
And in that crater were four figures. That zombie Liwei was in a corner and Yue and Fan were lying in a corner and in the middle was a burned corpse.
Tian hurriedly climbed down sliding down the brittle soil. She hurriedly grabbed Yue and Fan who were hugging each other tight. Fan's back was badly burned but Yue seemed unharmed.
Wordlessly she dragged them both up far away from the struggling zombie.
"No… uncle… uncle..." Yue cried crawling over to the crater,
"Stop!!" Tian pulled him into her bosom. "We have to leave." None of the other soldiers survived the blast. Only the three of them had survived.
"It's uncle Wen… Uncle Wen," Yue sobbed grabbing her hand tightly.
Tian froze. "What?"
"that's uncle Wen... Tian. Its uncle Wen…" Yue sobbed loudly.
Tian pulled herself together. "Let's go. We can't stay here," the zombie close to them had burned off, but the other zombies had already crowded around them.
No one was in the state to fight them all.
"We have to go," Tian dragged Yue and Fan up the ditch. climbing up was difficult and the remaining zombies did not make it any easier. they tried their best to bite anyone close by.
But a few zombies stood in her way. All level seven zombies.
Tian pulled Yue and Fan close. Right now, her powers were already exhausted but if she had to fight for her life, she was prepared for it.
But the only priority now is to get you back to safety.
Gritting her teeth, she summoned a powerful blue flame ball and launched at them.
Of course, it did not stop them. Level seven or higher zombies had a resistance to powers. Especially elemental powers that's why their bodies were relatable unharmed due to the huge flame blast that happened seconds ago.
'Fuck how am I going to deal with these…'
Behind them, Liwei was already trying to crawl his way out.
They were once again stuck in between the zombies.
"Yue…" Tian gently patted Yue's head
Her brother was still sobbing loudly as he clung to Fan's unconscious body.
"Yue!"
Yue snapped up blankly gazing at her.
"Pull yourself together! We need to get Fan to safety first. I need you to use your powers to create an ice shield. Can you do that?"
Yue just blankly looked at her.
"Yue?" he snapped her fingers close to his ears.
As she had suspected, Yue… had lost his hearing.
"Shit," blurting out a line of cusses, she flung Yue onto her shoulders and Fan onto another. Combined weight slowed her down, but at least this way they both could be safe.
A speed ability zombie did not even give her a second. they started to pounce on her trying their best to take a bite.
Tian hurriedly dodged it and kicked its leg.
But that also did not slow it down.
Along with it came the combined attacks of five other zombies. A flurry of fire and ice rushed towards her.
She hurriedly tried to summon a flame ball, but only small flashes of smoke gushed out of her hand.
'Gods… we're screwed."
Tian hugged Yue tightly to her body and turned around, putting her back to the attack.
"Tian…" Yue hugged her.
"shhh heads down," she hugged him tight to her bosom.
It was just fire. She will survive.
Seconds passed but the impending attack did not hit her. Stunned she gazed back. all the zombies were tied up by strange lotus stems and their bodies had been mummified, leaving only husk.
"wha…" Tian staggered
"Tian!" Nui ran to them. "Quick bring them into the car." She lifted Fan and dragged him to the car that was parked quite close.
"What are you guys doing here?! It's not safe." Tian virginity gazed at Liwei who was still struggling to climb out of the crater. Her whole body was staggering but she refused to back down. Only when this guy is dead will her family be safe.
"Enough," Zou Wei pulled her into a hug. "You kids have done good, let us adults deal with this," he handed her to Juda who was silently sobbing.
"No, dad!! He is powerful!"
Zou Wei smirked. "So am I," he held out his hand and the whole ground that was scotched flourished with greenery and a huge tree grew in the middle. Wines slowly crept around Liwei caging him completely.
"Yue!... I'll kill you… I'll kill you!!!!" Liwei screamed and punched the vine cage
The little zombie girl walked close and soon her vines joined the struggle.
"AHHH YOU CANT DEFEAT ME…" Liwei struggled and screamed. But slowly his whole body was covered, and his screams turned into squeals and grunts. "K-kill….you all…"
soon it disappeared.
"It's over. He is dead," Juda softly whispered kissing her cheeks. "Please let's get you healed."
"Good… good….burn the body" Tian's heavy eyes could not stay open any longer.
She collapsed.
Juda hugged her and kissed her slightly burned cheeks. "You guys did good…" she gently pulled her to the car where Trexa was.
The little rat was currently healing Fan who was in the worst state of them all. His whole back was burned and black even parts of his scalp were burned.
Trexa quickly placed her small paws on his back and soon the black-burned skin turned pale and smooth.
Trexa staggered after doing so.
"Phase yourself…" Juda handed her a candy.
But the little rat shook her head. Pulled out a seed from her cheek pouch and ate it with a crunch. After doing so she started to heal Tian.
Juda's heavy heart finally calmed down. She hugged Tian close sobbing. "Thank god… thank the gods..."
Yue did the same, hugging Fan to his lap. He did not say a word. He remained mute looking at his lover with tears in his eyes.
"Yue, I'm so sorry. We tried to stop Uncle Wen but he ran too fast. By the time we turned he…." Juda heled back a sob.
Yue did not react. He simply touched his lover's cheeks sobbing silently.
"Yue?" she waved her hand to his face.
He looked up.
"Can you hear me?" she motioned to her mouth.
Yue shook his head. "I can't… I can't hear you… Is Fan okay?"
"he is doing good now. Yue?" Juda waved a hand close to his face. "can you see me?"
"I... I can't see properly,"
