Chapter 383 - 383 - The creature and I
A pair of red eyes peered at the cars from the distant mountains. "Do they think they can defeat me with that thing? Hilarious." He crushed the rocks under his fist. "I'll rip out his smiling lips…"
A pair of blue scaly legs appeared beside him.
Liwei gazed up at him with a scowl. "you're in my way,"
The creature tilted his head peering at him curiously. A pair of cold hands touched his head.
"Stop touching me,' he pushed him away and continued to observe the team of cars. They were currently heading south.
'Just you wait, Yue. I'll kill them all one by one. Little by little I want to see the hope on your face drain. I want to see you cry and wail... and then I will kill you. I'll brutally rip you and eat you for breakfast,'
Chuckling he laid on the ground peering up at the creature hovering over him. "Go find me another mutant creature. Let's reduce their size by two every day. Hahaha."
The creature sat beside him and gently caressed the top of his head.
Disgusted Liwei pushed it off.
"Stop doing that!"
He had been telling this thing not to touch him for years now. But it never listened.
Two years ago, when he was tossed over the wall he had not been killed instantly. His body was bitten chewed on and infected with different strands of virus. So, when his body was torn apart he could feel every single bit of it. It was brutally painful. He wished for nothing but death at that moment.
But it didn't come to him.
He watched with blank eyes as the creatures devoured his own body.
Soon only a part of his head was left with only one eye left in his socket. He was just a body-less head. But he was alive. He was vengeful.
It was then this creature approached him. Fresh out of the water with a huge boulder in his hand.
He did not know why but this creature took him in and sewed him up with different body parts.
Liwei had been awake through all this. he had blankly watched the creature do this. When his body was finally completely sewn up, he was still unable to move. His energy was drained.
The thing fed him crushed up rocks every day.
And every day he felt his body getting stronger. He was able to move his fingers.
One day he realized something. He was never powerless, but his powers were different. He was a controller. he was able to control the zombies around him. Like mindless puppets, they followed his orders.
Slowly but surely, he started to collect these rogue zombies.
In these two years he had been doing nothing but train himself. He wanted vengeance. And he will get it for sure.
A hand gently touched his head again.
"Stop touching me!" he got up and sat a bit far away.
But that creature came to him and sat because him again.
Liwei gazed up at him with a glare. The creature was a mutant type zombie. His body was that of a man but his legs were that of a fish person. They were covered in scales. He rarely ate anything. He would simply chew on a piece of rock and would go without anything for a few months.
"Here," he held a human hand to him. "Eat,"
The creature simply shook his head and gave the hand back to him.
"Why won't you eat anything? So fussy," scoffing Liwei scarfed down on the human remain. "Tomorrow let's send in a scorpion. Let a few of them die. It's better if all of those pesky soldiers die but let's take it day by day,"
Liwei gazed back at the prison camp. Weirdly his zombie soldier would not go anywhere closer to that place. Without their overwhelming numbers, he might not be able to attack that place so he had left it all alone.
He had thought that Yue would be intelligent enough to never come out that prison base. "But he is a stupid fellow. He came out and fell into my hands. You, go find me a mutant creature," he pushed the creature's hand away in disgust.
The creature silently stood up and disappeared from that spot.
Soon he came back with a scorpion and placed it by his feet.
The mutant creature shivered under his hand.
"If you are so powerful, why won't you attack humans?" he glared up at the creature.
Previously he had tried to control this creature into attacking the base but he would not budge. It was like his powers were useless against these tying.
'This thing is too powerful.' He clenched his fist. 'I'll take care of this thing after I deal with Yue. Nothing in this world must be more powerful than me.'
'Nothing,'
Late at night when Yue's party camped, they moved slowly in the blanket of the dark. They stayed a bit distant from them so as not to be noticed.
Liwei lay down o the ground peering up at the starry sky.
A pair of hands hugged him and pulled him close to a cold sticky body.
"don't touch me." He pushed and punched him but that creature was relentless. it creature loved hugging him to sleep every night.
It was so annoying.
'I have to kill it soon. Fuck it's so sticky...'
The creature's skin was like that of a frog. It maintains its moisture by creating a mucus-like layer on its skin. Which makes it very sticky to the touch.
'I need to get stronger…I will tear you into pieces, you moron,' he glared back at him.
The creature's blue eyes remained open looking at him intensely.
He had no clue what this thing thought of him but it always took care of him. Brought him food, did what he asked him to. 'It is quite useful though. But I have to get rid of its bad habits.' He garbed his arm tightly. "If you touch me once again, I will tear your arm off."
It did not let go of him.
Liwei simply gave up. 'I'll deal with it later.'
