Trexa nuzzled against his hand and scurried into the bed. It started to pick up the small pebbles of poo and tossed it into the litter box in its own cage.
Proudly, she pointed to the now clean bed.
"Good girl." Zou Yue gently kissed her head.
The rat jumped onto his shoulder and nuzzled against his wet hair.
"Do you want a bath as well?"
Trexa froze and ran away into her cage.
"I'll take that as a no."
Zou Yue swiftly finished up his bath and got ready for the day. His mother had made some fresh porridge. He ate a bowl and left to see his house.
On the way there in the cab, he did some online shopping. Now that the house constriction work is finished, it was time to start collecting materials.
Online shopping was the easiest source to buy all the good she needed, but some items he needs in bulk.
"I heard there is a farmers market nearby. I'll ask to uncle if I can buy some rice in bulk," he mumbled to himself.
