660 Whetstone Wu Ming

Wayloyu, the aqua-blue-armored man, growled as he contacted the other Void legends. “I shall test the strength of Human Wu Ming.”

The other cosmic legends didn’t rush to respond to the Wu Ming threat upon hearing that.

Wayloyu… was a Void Celestial with the highest chance of becoming a high-dimensional lifeform this generation.

He had become a cosmic legend in just 10,000 years, and his strength was equal to that of Redmond of the human race. After 20,000 years of cultivation, he had already grasped two high-dimensional powers.

His strength may not have been as great as Tutenmu and the others, but his influence among the Void Celestials was even greater. After all, there was a high chance of him becoming a high-dimensional lifeform!

“In this universe, we have the best legacies, the best resources, and the best guidance,” Wayloyu continued. “But finding a strong opponent is rare. Human Wu Ming is a rare opponent.”

The other cosmic legends nodded in agreement.

They were a single species that had attacked all their neighbors using strength alone, yet they had the advantage on every battlefield. If it weren’t for the restrictions of high-dimensional lifeforms, they would’ve long waged an all-out war.

“He’s indeed a rare opponent.”

“Redmond’s means are too clumsy. Wu Ming is good at Heart Realm Force, and it targets the mind. His means are different.”

“I hope it brings a little surprise.”

And with that, the Void Celestial cosmic legends watched the battle from afar.

In space.

Lan Zhu stood on the Lv. 10 battle planet, his high-dimensional treasure long since put away. The Origin lifeforms by his side gaped in awe at the black-robed figure in the sky.

“Did you see that? He killed a Void Celestial cosmic legend with one strike!”

“There’s a huge gap between cosmic legends.”

These Lv. 10 Origin lifeforms were thrilled.

Lan Zhu’s skeletal face cracked a rare smile. “The gap is huge, but the pride of the Void Celestials won’t allow them to give up easily. Look, they’re already here!”

The Origin lifeforms followed his gaze to see an aqua-blue armored figure appear.

“Wayloyu,” Lan Zhu said in surprise. “He’s the cosmic legend with the highest chance of becoming a high-dimensional lifeform among the Void Celestials.”

Xu Jingming watched the newcomer with a sense of intrigue. He rarely fought after becoming a cosmic legend, but he had the intention of fighting more cosmic legends on the battlefield and sensing some of the other high-dimensional powers.

“Wayloyu, I’ve heard of you,” Xu Jingming said with a sly smile.

“What an honor.” Wayloyu gazed back at Xu Jingming. “It’s said that I’m extremely talented, but compared to you, Human Wu Ming… I’m much inferior.”

Despite saying that, Wayloyu still had pride in his bones. This was also the pride of every Void Celestial.

Human Wu Ming was strong? That was the strength of a single human!

The Void Celestials were the ultimate force to be reckoned with. From the top-ranking Gumo to the generations of high-dimensional lifeforms, they possessed a wealth of legacies and evolutionary paths.

Xu Jingming still needed to buy Three Threads of the Heart Realm and explore the Heart Realm to see if luck would be on his side.

The Void Celestials held the complete third-realm legacy of the Heart Realm lineage, as well as many other half-step third-realm legacies.

“It’s quite impressive for a weak species to reach this level after being corrupted by high-dimensional powers,” Wayloyu sneered.

Xu Jingming felt the condescending attitude of the other party.

“I’ll give you ten seconds to make a move,” Xu Jingming said, his patience running thin. “You only have one chance to attack. After that, you’ll die.”

“How arrogant. Perhaps you have what it takes.” Wayloyu smirked. With him as the center, an endless stream of water spread out in every direction!

It would take too long to describe, but in reality, the water exceeded the speed of light and defied the laws of time. It instantly engulfed an area spanning three light-years.

The water was powerful, drowning and devouring everything in its path.

Wayloyu’s eyes were cold, his pride on full display!

He showed no mercy as he launched his attack.

“This is the Abyss Stream I’ve just discovered,” Wayloyu smiled.

However, his smile quickly froze as he realized that the black-robed Xu Jingming was still standing there, and even the Lv. 10 battle planet nearby was untouched.

The water had covered an area of three light-years, but Xu Jingming and the Lv. 10 battle planet seemed illusory and untouchable.

“I can’t touch it?” Wayloyu couldn’t believe it.

The expressions of the Void Celestial cosmic legends changed dramatically.

“Wayloyu can’t touch him or the Lv. 10 battle planet? Did he move them into high-dimensional space?”

“Wayloyu’s Abyss Stream is also a high-dimensional power. Even if he hid in high-dimensional space, he should be able to touch them.”

Many cosmic legends were puzzled.

It was one thing for an individual to dodge, but it was unimaginable for an entire Lv. 10 battle planet to evade the Abyssal Stream.

“The illusion he constructed has already reached this level?” Tutenmu frowned. He was well-versed in constructing illusions and knew exactly how Xu Jingming had done it.

Reality and illusion were now indistinguishable in the face of a powerful illusory world.

Xu Jingming could sense the moves Wayloyu was using and quickly deduced his plan. The power produced by the combination of a tiny bit of spatial layer and a tiny bit of abyssal power could only be achieved by two first-realm high-dimensional powers.

It’s said that his talent is comparable to Senior Brother Redmond, but he’s much younger at the age of 20,000, Xu Jingming thought to himself.

With a determined look in his eyes, Xu Jingming declared, “It’s my turn.”

Wayloyu’s expression changed slightly as he prepared for the worst.

Whoosh!

In a split second, the Abyssal Stream spanning three light-years and Wayloyu himself disappeared.

Xu Jingming’s illusory world was too massive to handle. With a single thought, he devoured his opponent and their high-dimensional powers.

Boom.

The moment Wayloyu was swallowed, the power of the illusory world swept past his mind and consciousness.

This is?

Wayloyu only saw an infinitely vast and distorted world before his consciousness fell into darkness.

He was dead.

If Xu Jingming had only just become a cosmic legend and only knew some crude means of using Heart Realm Force, it would’ve taken him more than ten moves to kill Wayloyu. But thanks to his cultivation of the Eight Directions Map, Red Lotus Fire, and Three Threads of Heart Realm, he finished off Wayloyu easily.

Xu Jingming’s immense power was a result of both his opportunities and his own efforts.

The Heart Realm lineage placed great importance on the mind.

Feather Fire Lord had even imparted the Eight Directions Map for the cultivation of the mind.

Xu Jingming had experienced the torture of high-dimensional corruption. Despite this, he had reached the Heart of Cleansing Lotus, and his mind was relatively strong, allowing him to successfully master the first two levels of Eight Directions Map and improve his combat techniques, Red Lotus Fire and Three Threads of the Heart Realm.

While this improvement may not have been considered dazzling among high-dimensional lifeforms, it was terrifying among low-dimensional lifeforms.

After killing Wayloyu, Xu Jingming shook his head gently and said, “There aren’t any treasures.”

He knew that Wayloyu had already prepared for death when he came over.

Just one move again? He killed Wayloyu in one damn move? Tutenmu scowled as he glared at the projection, his mind racing as he weighed his options. But he wasn’t about to rush into an attack.

One move. That’s all it took to take down the silver-robed elder, Kemodi. And now, Wayloyu.

Tutenmu watched on.

“Humans are weak as hell, but Wu Ming, you’re one hell of a fighter.” Another Void Celestial cosmic legend descended, ready to challenge Xu Jingming.

“I’ll give you a chance to attack,” Xu Jingming said, his voice cold and steady. He knew that the other party was using him as a sparring partner, but he didn’t give a damn. He was gaining valuable experience from seeing different high-dimensional powers and techniques.

He used a single move again.

The illusory world wasn’t completely exposed, but just a small portion was enough to kill a cosmic legend, leaving him nowhere to escape.

These Void Celestial cosmic legends weren’t afraid at all. They didn’t bring any treasures with them, only wanting to hone their skills.

They all took the initiative to provoke him, and Xu Jingming was more than happy to oblige! He sent them all to the revival list.

One move. That’s all it took.

From Kemodi to Wayloyu, a total of five cosmic legends took the initiative to attack. None of them could figure out Xu Jingming’s situation, and all of them lost their lives. But it was a damn shame that none of them carried treasures. Xu Jingming could have used a few more.

******

The Origin lifeforms on the Lv. 10 battle planet stared in disbelief at the scene before them.

What did they see? They saw cosmic legends being easily wiped out!

“This is Lord Wu Ming’s strength.”

“The strongest cosmic legend of us humans.”

“The number one person below high-dimensional lifeforms.”

“Too strong.”

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as they held their breath, waiting to see if any more Void Celestial powerhouses would appear.

The Void Celestials were indeed stunned by Xu Jingming’s power.

“Tutenmu, are you going to do it, or should I?” A massive celestial body contacted his friend.

“I can test his strength first. I have nine clones, so he can’t kill me,” the bewitching woman said.

The three of them were the Void Celestial’s three strongest cosmic legends, each cultivating the strongest legacies and secret techniques most suitable for them, and armed with powerful high-dimensional weapons. Despite Xu Jingming’s grasp of the Heart Realm Force, they were sure of their own strength.

“There’s no need. I can tell that he’s good at constructing illusory worlds,” Tutenmu replied to his two friends. “Coincidentally, I’m also best at constructing illusory worlds.

“I really want to see who’s better,” he said with a sly grin before disappearing into thin air.

Xu Jingming stood tall in the vast expanse of space, dressed in his black robe as he waited for his opponent with a sense of leisure. But as soon as he saw a purple-robed figure descending towards him, his expression turned grave.

It’s him!

An enemy who had changed his evolutionary path!

“Tutenmu.” Xu Jingming looked at him.

Tutenmu, towering at more than eight meters tall and adorned in a purple robe, smiled at Xu Jingming. “Wu Ming, you have to thank me.”

Xu Jingming glared at him.

Thank him?

The days of being corrupted and tortured by high-dimensional powers remained vivid in his mind. Xu Jingming didn’t like the feeling of losing control at all.

“How could you have grasped the Heart Realm Force without me?” Tutenmu asked. “Have you experienced the beauty of the Heart Realm Force now?”

“You can try the taste of high-dimensional corruption,” Xu Jingming said, his voice filled with disdain.

“I’m not that talented, and I can’t afford to be corrupted by high-dimensional powers.” Tutenmu shook his head, a hint of fear in his eyes. “Even if I were to be corrupted by a third-realm high-dimensional power now, I wouldn’t have the confidence to escape the corruption.”

Tutenmu continued, a smile playing on his lips, “My talent may not be as good as yours, but after mastering the Heart Realm Force, I’ve studied ‘Hell Nightmare Realm’ for over 10,000 years. I’m dying to see who’s stronger when it comes to our illusory worlds.”

“I’ve cultivated ‘Three Threads of the Heart Realm’ for hundreds of years and have gained something. Let’s compete.” Xu Jingming looked at him.
