Chapter 374: Let's Go Skinny Dipping

She sighed and raised her hand to run her fingers through his hair.

"Just looking. Wonder who had the brilliant idea of picking this place," she said jokingly.

Mo Qingchen chuckled. "Wasn't it your obsession with looking at rental properties in such locations to buy that made you stumble across it?" he teased. "You found the perfect place."

She hummed. "But the owners will never sell. I understand, it's too beautiful and profitable to sell." She shook her head in dissatisfaction. "Ah, some things even money can't buy."

Qingchen turned his head and pressed a quick kiss on her cheek. "You could buy it if you paid ten times the market price, you know?"

She rolled her eyes. "That sounds unnecessary. I would never make up for what I paid."

Qingchen snorted as he eased his hands from around her waist and stood up to his full height. "Always thinking about business. You could keep it for sentimental value, you know?"

She rolled her eyes. "I just arrived. I have no sentiments for this place. If I like it too much, I will just build something even better. What do you think?" She grinned that shark-like grin that he loved.

He patted her hair before going in. "I will hang up your dress and my suit!" he called from over his shoulder.

She heard the buzz of familiar voices below her and looked down. It was a bunch of her business associates and friends who were settled into the third cabin.

The sight was weird because they were dragging a huge ride-on float. It was definitely in the shape of a unicorn and she wondered which of her eccentric friends had sacrificed their luggage space to bring this mammoth.

"What is that?" she asked in a mixture of horror and amusement.

Marcus looked up and grinned. "I had it at home because I bought it for a party. It seats four people!" he exclaimed.

Qian Meng gaped. "Are we allowed to?" she laughed in disbelief.

"I asked the property manager when they came by. They said it was fine. Showering right now is such a chore when I have a perfectly beautiful lake to dip and swim in," he commented. "Come down, beautiful bride!" he shouted.

Qian Meng burst into laughter and turned around. "Qingchen, do you want to go skinny dipping?" she shouted.

He peered out from the closet, his eyes wide in shock. "Here? Out in public?" he asked.

She giggled. "They are all going out to swim. Do you want to join?" she amended.

He sighed in relief. "I thought you had grown some exhibitionist tendencies without my knowledge," he commented. "Tell them to dive in. I'll call the others and then join." He gave her a mischievous smile.

Qian Meng looked to the balcony of the other cabin and saw one of Qingchen's friends already outside. She waved at him. "Brett! Wanna take a dip with the group? Tell everyone, will you?" she shouted.

Mo Qingchen laughed out loud as he picked out swimming clothes to wear. "Yize just texted me, saying that she is joining in," he said.

Qian Meng turned and nodded. "Let's go in!" she squealed. Mo Qingchen threw her swimwear at her and then sprinted to the bathroom ahead of her.

She shook her head and stripped off her clothes quickly, getting into the swimsuit unashamedly, ignoring her husband who came out of the bathroom in his swimming trunks and eyed her greedily.

"If we didn't have a swimming appointment right now, I would ravish you," he said in a low voice.

She looked at him coyly over her shoulder and shimmied her hips to entice him. "I don't think you would. The cabins are close together and the two of us are loud. Everyone would know what we are doing the minute you start stripping me out of my clothes."

She fingered the tie on her shoulder before tightening it.

He chuckled. "We might get cheered on, but I don't think my mom or Uncle Bai would appreciate the scene."

She shrugged and went ahead.

When they got downstairs, almost everyone was sitting at the private dock. The wooden platform was freshly cleaned and looked enticing enough to dive into the water from.

Mo Qingchen's friends seemed to be having a little too much fun. They cannonballed into the water and then swam to the ungodly-looking unicorn float.

It bobbed in the water and the female companions squealed when it dipped slightly into the water and someone climbed into the float, dripping all over it.

Qian Meng basked under the sunlight and watched happily as people who met for the first time mingled.

A small floaty a distance from the rest floated and she saw Li Min swimming to it without a hitch. Li Min was a loaner through and through. Only when she was dating did she become a little girl and pursue until the end.

With how often Li Min seemed to get calls from Mo Qingchen's secretary and the not-so-serious expression on her face… Li Min seemed to be flirting to the other. All was good. As long as they didn't cause trouble for the bosses.

Qian Meng noticed someone walking up behind her. The sun was so bright when she looked in the direction that she had to squint.

Mo Yize peered down at her with a cocky smile. She dropped down beside Qian Meng and placed an arm on the other's shoulder. "Only you would make a holiday out of your wedding," Yize commented.

Qian Meng chuckled. "Reminds you of royalty from ancient times, right? The birthday of the King and Queen is celebrated. It's similar."

Yize tutted. "What else could I expect? You really think you are the Queen."

Qian Meng flipped her hair over her shoulder in a show of dominance and the two broke into fits of giggles.

"I just wanted the people I like to be in one place and enjoy their time. I want everyone to get to know one another. I don't want a wedding day that is stressful."
