Chapter 1998 I’m Laughing At Your Naivety! (4)

“That group of snakemen is nothing more than natives. If you ask, I refuse to believe they won’t open the formation,” Wan Dong squinted his eyes and spoke in a cold tone.

The queen had caught on to what was happening and said coldly, “The Rui Snake City does not welcome them.”

“You see, you’re quite unlucky. They don’t welcome you,” Wang Teng replied.

“Wang Teng, do you want to be our enemy?” Wan Dong’s face turned extremely unsightly as he glared at Wang Teng.

“Do you want to be my enemy?” Wang Teng’s expression changed, his demeanor growing cold as he stared at them.

“How dare you!”

“Wang Teng, who do you think you are!”

The people behind Wan Dong were becoming annoyed by the encroaching star beasts, and they erupted in anger when they heard Wang Teng’s words.

Wang Teng remained unfazed, simply looking at them with a calm demeanor as if he were observing a group of clowns.

“Wang Teng, I admit that you have talent, and being a Star Ranking genius does sound impressive, but don’t think too highly of yourself. Without growth, even the most talented individual amounts to nothing. Today, you don’t understand the importance of respecting your seniors. I can teach you,” Wan Dong glared at Wang Teng coldly, and his eyes emitted a dangerous gleam.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Everything was ready for war!

The people behind Wan Dong were also glaring at Wang Teng with cold expressions, seemingly ready to act upon his command.

The queen and her subordinates had serious expressions and remained cautious.

However, they felt a strange sense of relief when they saw that Wang Teng and the others were not in agreement.

To them, concepts like the Stellar Academies and Star Ranking prodigies were beyond their comprehension and not worth understanding. They only knew that as long as Wang Teng wasn’t with the other group, he was still their friend.

“Hahaha…” Wang Teng laughed.”Hahaha…” Wang Teng suddenly burst into laughter.

The queen and the others were taken aback, staring at Wang Teng in confusion. They couldn’t understand why he was laughing at a time like this.

What was so funny about what the person said just now?

“Laughing at your naivety!” Wang Teng glanced at them and continued, “Just because you are older doesn’t mean you can act arrogantly.”

“You’ve been practicing for countless years and are still at the heaven stage. It’s quite embarrassing, and you dare to come here and act arrogantly?”

“A bunch of nothings.”

“Teaching me to respect seniority? Who do you think you are?”

These words caused Wan Dong’s face to turn red, then black, and finally, a shade of green.

His facial expression changed three times in an instant, which was quite a spectacle!

The people behind him wore equally unpleasant expressions. It was the first time they had been so blatantly ridiculed about their senior status.

Their past experience with junior members had always involved respect and deference to the seniority hierarchy, which had created a certain expectation that junior members should respect their seniors.

Moreover, their strength was indeed superior to that of new students, which naturally deterred the new students from provoking them.

But now, Wang Teng didn’t even consider them a threat.

Even when facing a group of heaven-stage individuals, Wang Teng continued to berate them. His audacity was beyond what a normal person would have.

Feng Mo was left stunned. Even he couldn’t help but feel a certain level of admiration for Wang Teng.

He dared to scold the senior students. Was he overestimating himself?

Wasn’t he afraid the seniors would force their way in?

A group of heaven-stage martial warriors was no joke, and it was doubtful that the barrier could hold them back.

Even though Feng Mo considered himself a genius, he couldn’t help but tone down his arrogance in the presence of the senior students, respecting the pecking order.

So why did Wang Teng act so arrogantly?

Feng Mo didn’t understand.

On the other side, the queen and the others looked at Wang Teng with strange expressions. They noticed that this guy’s skill at insulting people didn’t seem much weaker than his strength.

What a sharp tongue!

“Ahem,” Wang Teng cleared his throat and said, “Don’t look at me like that. I’m not very familiar with them.”

“We can see that,” the queen nodded.

“Glad you can see that. It saves me from being thrown out with them later,” Wang Teng remarked.

The queen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. This guy was indeed different from most other extraterrestrial humans.

She had never encountered such a person.

Those extraterrestrial humans might appear proud, but they didn’t have his kind of unwavering conviction. When they met someone stronger than themselves, they would bow and submit.

Their so-called arrogance only earned contempt from others.

“Wang Teng, you’re looking for death!”

Wan Dong, annoyed and humiliated, yelled at the people behind him, “Break the formation for me!”

The group of people fought to fend off the surrounding star beasts and gathered together, getting ready to launch an attack on the array.

“Since you want to fight, I’ll play with you!”

Wang Teng sneered and suddenly dashed out of the array. He held the array token in his hand, permitting him to pass through the barrier unhindered.

“Hahaha, fool! You dare to run out!” Wan Dong chuckled triumphantly, leaving his companions behind and charging directly at Wang Teng.

Initially, he wanted to shatter the array first, but when he saw Wang Teng running out on his own, his resentment towards Wang Teng placed catching him as the top priority.

“Earth Dragon Claw!”

A fierce call escaped his lips.
