1880 Contract! Ice Tess! (5)

“And very confident!” The Ice Hornless Dragon ignored Wang Teng’s question and continued her sentence.

Wang Teng: …

“I can agree to your request, but I will only acknowledge you as my master if your strength gains my approval,” the Ice Hornless Dragon said.

“That simple?” Wang Teng asked.

“There’s a time limit,” the Ice Hornless Dragon replied calmly.

“I knew it.” Wang Teng responded as if he expected this, then asked, “How much time are you giving me?”

“300 years!” The Ice Hornless Dragon said, “You must become an eternal stage ruler within 300 years, or I won’t acknowledge you.”

“300 years!” Wang Teng cleared his throat and asked, “Are you sure about that?”

It wasn’t that he thought the time was too short but rather too long.

While the eternal stage ruler was the most powerful presence among the eternal-stage martial warriors, reaching it within 300 years should not be difficult.

Was this the Ice Hornless Dragon’s only requirement?

“300 years is the longest deadline I can give you. If you can’t even accomplish this, then you’re not qualified to be my master,” the Ice Hornless Dragon said calmly. She thought that Wang Teng found it too challenging and gave him a disdainful look.

“Alright, since you insist on this strict requirement, I’ll agree to the deadline,” Wang Teng said nonchalantly.

If it were some unreasonable demands, he wouldn’t have been so accommodating.

This was just an Ice Hornless Dragon with her soul left. What’s more, she was sealed. Why did she maintain such an aloof demeanor? What was she thinking?

But, he felt that he could satisfy this simple request.

It seemed that the main soul of this Ice Hornless Dragon was not too difficult to deal with.

Wang Teng thought he should be more generous and not too petty.

“Do you have any more questions? If not, let’s sign the spiritual contract!” Wang Teng waved his hand and a blank spiritual contract scroll appeared in his hand.

He always had some on him just in case he needed it.

Like now.

The Ice Hornless Dragon looked at his expression and finally felt that something wasn’t right. However, it couldn’t put a finger on it.

The two of them wrote down their terms on the spiritual contract and signed their names.

A light emanated from the spiritual contract. Both parties felt as though they had gained a subtle connection.

No one could violate the terms written in the contract, or they would suffer severe backlash.

“Iceyth!” Wang Teng looked at the name on the spiritual contract and smiled. “This’s a good name. It suits your temperament.”

Iceyth remained indifferent to Wang Teng’s praise. She asked, “Can you release me now?”

Wang Teng nodded and waved his hand, removing the flames that imprisoned her.

“And my main soul!” Iceyth hovered in mid-air for a moment before landing on Wang Teng’s shoulder.

This soul fragment was very small and it looked even more petite and delicate when it perched on Wang Teng’s shoulder.

“Destroy the seal array here and release me immediately,” Iceyth sounded a little anxious. She had been trapped for far too long and was eager to break free from this prison.

“I can’t remove this powerful seal array yet.” Wang Teng shook his head.

“What? Didn’t you say you mastered the ancient runes?” Iceyth frowned and asked.

“Well, I have some understanding of them, but whether I can break this array is another matter,” Wang Teng rubbed his chin. “If we forcefully break it, the Hornless Ice Dragon Pearl might shatter.”

“So what should we do?” Iceyth sounded impatient. She gave a look that seemed to be saying, “Are you fooling around with me?”

“Within 300 years,” Wang Teng reminded her.

Iceyth’s expression froze.

This time limit was not just for Wang Teng. It was for her too.

“Well, don’t worry too much. Although I can not completely remove the seal, you did manage to create a crack in it. I can help you widen it a bit,” Wang Teng uttered with a sly grin.

“Why do I feel that you did it on purpose?” Iceyth stared at him coldly.

“Don’t jump to conclusions. I’m not that kind of person. It’s just that my abilities have limitations. You can not blame me for that,” Wang Teng replied innocently.

Iceyth felt frustrated. She sized up Wang Teng as if trying to figure something out.

However, there was nothing wrong with his face. His expression was genuinely sincere.

Considering that he was just a rune grandmaster, it was understandable that he could not break the seal array.

She could only give up.

It looked like she could only wait another 300 years.

Wang Teng sniggered in his heart when he saw her expression.

Do you think you can outsmart me?

I’ll let you know who’s the smart one.

“Let me see where the crack is.” Wang Teng activated his Real Eye and scanned his surroundings.

He continued to probe his surroundings while walking forward.

Iceyth blinked. She wondered if Wang Teng could find the location of the crack.

Just when she thought that Wang Teng would need some time to find it, he went straight in one direction and quickly stopped at a particular spot.

That’s fast! Iceyth was surprised.

Wang Teng, oblivious of Iceyth’s scrutiny, looked down at his feet. The ice here appeared no different from the surrounding area, but in his eyes, it seemed highly distinctive.

A few ice-blue attribute bubbles floated around him.
