Chapter 480: Juyoung Hong (7)

Most of those captured by the rebels were born and raised in Africa, but that didn’t mean they had never seen ice in their lifetime. But it was obviously the first time that they witnessed chunks of ice that were so huge as to freeze hundreds of people at once.

Every time the youth gestured with his hands to those rebels who were just appearing and witnessed the shocking scenes, they got frozen right away even though they tried to flee.

The youth looked like a god or an angel.

That’s why these people of Sierra Leone who were forcibly taken by the rebels, could not help but follow his order without any objection because his order was that of a god, whether he was a god or a god’s messenger.

The youth was none other than Juyoung Hong.

The moment I entered the building of the rebel leader, I checked a huge safe on one side. Of course, I was sure there were more safes, for example, in the form of a secret account set up in Switzerland.

But I had no intention of unrooting them because it would be really annoying to track them down one by one from my end. Besides, if things went my way, I would make much more money than whatever was in those safes.

Anyway, I looked at the people of Sierra Leone who had been forcibly dragged here by the rebels, and said gently, “Please come here, everybody!”

Obviously, I spoke in a low voice, but they had no problem hearing my voice because it was so quiet after all the rebel soldiers were frozen.

In fact, they began to gather in front of me.

After checking them quickly, I moved into the completely shattered building behind me and approached huge safe that was tucked away on one side.

The safe, including its lid, was made of thick iron, so it was really sturdy. But it was no different than a clay model for me.

So I grabbed a part of the safe, and tore it apart with my hand. Every time I did so, the metal that made up the safe was wrenched out with a strange sound.

After all, the safe was completely opened after my 4th try.

“Wow!”

Even though I expected it, there was a huge amount of diamonds as well as several precious metals and bundles of dollars in the safe. Even bundles of Sierra Leone leone(SLL), the official currency used in Sierra Leone, were in the safe.

Without touching the diamonds and other precious metals, I took out the bundles of SLL. Then I turned to the Sierra Leone captive and said, “From now on I will manage the diamond mines here. You all will be my workers, and you will get appropriately paid for your work here. I need to clean up the mess, so I’ll give you a three-week paid leave. Of course, if you have other jobs, you don’t have to come back here.”

As soon as I said that, I lined up more than 500 of them in a single file, then gave them dollars and SLLs.

Each of them received $5000 and 500,000 SLL.

“Thank you!”

“You are our savior! Thanks for helping us!”

“I’ll come back by all means!”

Obviously, they were in awe that I blocked bullets and threw out chunks of ice from my hands, so they uttered words of admiration and gratitude, with their heads lowered.

Anyway, I cracked down on all the three major rebel forces there, freed the Sierra Leone captives who were working slave labor, then gave them some money.

I didn’t forget to tell them they would be welcome to come back after three weeks if they wanted to come back for work.

In Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“…”

“…”

“…”

Oliveira was lost in deep thought after Juyoung Hong left for Sierra Leone.

Obviously, his opponent was immune to bullets. And he even said he was willing to be caught in the trap they set up, asking him to summon tanks and helicopters, if needed.

So Oliveira handed him the information about the rebel forces in Sierra Leone, and at the same time he mobilized all his resources to monitor the situation in Sierra Leone.

Since Juyoung Hong asked for the information about Sierra Leone from him, it was evident that he would appear there sooner or later. And as expected, he appeared in Sierra Leone.

Even without using a satellite, Oliveira had a lot of other tools through which he could monitor anything several kilometers away. But he and his subordinates could not say anything after confirming the scenes there.

To be honest, he thought that even if he mobilized tanks and helicopters, he could not kill that guy. Moreover, when he witnessed the youth lifting the safe which weighed several hundred kilograms with one hand, and ripping it open with the other hand, he could not even breathe properly. And that was discounting the chunks of ice that were shot from the youth’s hands that froze hundreds of rebel members instantly.

After watching the video, Oliveira opened his mouth softly.

“Stop investigating that guy as of now.”

Oliveira knew that knowledge was power, and that’s why he kept collecting information. Since he was involved in collecting information, there was one thing he knew better than anybody else.

If he tried to collect information he could not handle, it would backfire on him at the end of the day.

At the Debius headquarters in England.

In the past, satellites were operated by the government of each country, but it has been a long time since private companies also operated satellites for their own purposes.

In that respect, Debius was also running a satellite.

So, right after they got a call from the field office in Sierra Leone, they immediately checked the areas occupied by the rebels through their private satellites.

The rebels were in the best position to smuggle various precious metals including the diamonds from Sierra Leone as well as other African regions.

But they were stunned to find something unusual this time.

“How come their areas have been destroyed like that? What happened? Just one week ago when they reported to us, nothing was happening, right?”

Obviously, this was not a situation that they could simply ignore.

That’s why Chairman Connenti received the report directly.

He had no choice but to question the fact that the rebels’ areas were completely devastated because there was none in Sierra Leone who was strong enough to do that. Even the government forces could not do it.

Moreover, it was clear that the three rebel forces didn’t fight among themselves because all of them were completely destroyed.

No matter how hard he tried, the chairman could not find out the exact reason, and no executives could respond to his question either.

So Chairman Connenti asked again, “Where is that famous mercenary group these days?”

The hunting group that the chairman mentioned was a group of mercenaries which were part of those PMEs (Private Military Enterprises)..

Since he knew what his boss was referring to, Floyd, one of the executives in charge of external affairs, responded right away.

“Right now in the mercenary world, Red Wolf is regarded as the top mercenary group. Their members are mainly from the elite forces such as Delta Force, Devgru, and Navy SEAL, so they have a strong network in the United States and are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons. They are more expensive than other mercenaries, but they are perfect for carrying out our assignment.”

“Hmm… okay. Let’s make a contract with them. And dispatch somebody to them right away. We can’t afford to lose Sierra Leone to anybody else!”

“Yes, sir!”

Since Sierra Leone was a very important place for the distribution and supply of diamonds around the world, Chairman Connenti made that decision right away.
