Chapter 476: Juyoung Hong (3)

I was really serious. I was not being that greedy because I could take over the entire planet, or even more, if I wanted to.

When I said that, he was standing still dumbfounded, not understanding what I was talking about. So I asked him to leave. He might not understand my point now, but I would take action quite soon, and he would understand then.

Right before he left my room, I said, “Ah, give me your contact number. I will talk to you a little more informally next time. I’m going to give you an office and salary. You won’t regret it.”

Three days later, I passed by China, India, and the African continent, then crossed the Atlantic Ocean to arrive at my destination, Sao Paulo in Brazil.

Even though Sierra Leone, diamond and the rebels were pretty interesting, it was just one of many stories that I had heard before.

I did not know much about my destination or its detailed location. That’s why I came here.

There was a reason why the Antalagos Information Guild became the top leader in the field when Revival Legend became a reality.

After I arrived in Sao Paulo, I walked into a remote alley and entered a bar which had the drawing of a man covering his eyes and ears with both hands on the door. Then I approached the small door deeper inside the bar with the same drawing on it.

Knock- Knock- Knock-

When I knocked two or three times, the closed door opened on its own, and I stepped inside. And inside was a small path reminiscent of a maze.

I stepped along the path, and soon reached a narrow room.

I quickly looked around the room a bit.

Watching me, a man sitting on a chair opened his mouth softly.

“You have no manners. Don’t you know that you are not supposed to wear a hat or mask when you come to this place?”

“Oh give me a break. Well, I have to move around by myself because I don’t have any assistants. As for my hat and mask, I am wearing them for you guys, not me, because I want to stop you guys from being killed when you get caught shadowing me.”

“You’re crazy.”

“Okay. Let me see your leader first.”

I wanted to see their leader first instead of asking for some information about Sierra Leone.

I wanted to do so because there was no chance that they would provide me with the information about Sierra Leone, diamonds and the rebels as well as the corrupt capitalists colluding with them when I had never been here before.

Even if I take off my hat and mask and reveal my identity, they still would not give me the information I want.

That’s why I asked to meet their leader first because it would be more advantageous that way for smooth communication.

He responded, “Hahaha! You’re really crazy. I don’t know who told you about this place, but I have to scout out my customers.”

“Don’t go overboard. Your leader Oliveira. Call him now.”

“Oliveira? Who is he? Oh, is that the guy who tipped you off about this place?”

He looked at me strangely as if I was a crazy guy. But his expression seemed serious.

I shouted, “What the heck? You guys are here in your headquarters, but you don’t know your leader’s name? Where is Brandon?”

“!!!”

The man, who didn’t change his expression when I mentioned Oliveira, opened his eyes wide in surprise.

“Oh you know Brandon. Call him here now. I think he is around here because this place is not far from your headquarters, right?”

“Who the hell are you?”

“You idiot! Do you seriously think I will tell you who I am if I came all the way here wearing a hat and a mask like this?”

“…”

Having said that, I sat down on a chair reserved for guests, and opened my mouth with my legs crossed on the desk.

“You guys really don’t treat your clients well. Even the chair here is very inconvenient. Hey, bring him here right away instead of standing there blankly!”

Of course, even if the man in front of me didn’t call him, Brandon would come to me right away because my conservation here was being watched by those in the headquarters.

Shortly afterwards, I heard lots of footsteps.

The walls that made this area like a maze collapsed, revealing a spacious vacant lot. At the same time, numerous people surrounded me.

At that moment, somebody emerged from them and asked, “Did somebody call me?”

A group of people appeared.

And in that group were people I knew well.

Oliveira, the first guild leader of the Antalagos Information Guild, who died right at my hand, and Brandon, who became the guild leader after Oliveira.

I approached them. Then I passed by the guy who first questioned me about my identity, then Brandon, then stopped at the man with a nice moustache.

“Hum…have you been acting like a private soldier even hiding your name like this?”

“…”

“Man, I have to appreciate your skill. You are very cautious. Seeing you like this, I think I know why you have climbed to such a top position. As the intelligence chief, you really do need to be careful.”

“Who the hell are you? And how do you know about me?”

“Me? Well, I’m your close friend.”

He was once killed by me in the previous iteration.

So it was not appropriate to call him my close friend, but I chose to call him like that because there was no chance I would kill him now.

Of course, Oliveira didn’t seem to like the way I called him.

He stepped back right away, and shouted, “Kill them!”

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

I fully expected they would use guns, but no bullets were shot at me.

“Kheeeeeeeeek!”

“Khuuuuuuk!”

“Damn it!”

Flop!

Flop!

Flop!

Were they shooting mindlessly at each other? Not at all.

When they noticed I had discovered their identity, they killed some of their members who had been kept in the dark until now.

As if my guess was right, Oliveira opened his mouth.

“I won’t give you another chance. How did you know about me?”

“Oh poor guys. They were killed because of me. Aren’t they poor and innocent? I feel sorry for them anyway.”

“That’s not the answer I wanted. Kill him!”

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

In an instant, they fired a number of bullets at me.

But I blocked all of them by moving my both hands. Originally, I would not have been able to do so even if my agility was high, but my stat points were now enormous thanks to the roots’ sacrifice.

I dropped the bullets I was holding in both hands to the floor.

Of course, I could block them without moving my hands because bullets could not inflict any damage to me at all.

But my current suit was quite expensive.

Anyway, they seemed shocked when I blocked all the bullets.

“…”

“…”

“…”

A heavy silence fell on the place.

Watching them get cold feet, I said, “Don’t worry. I’ll give you another chance later. You have tanks and helicopters available, right? Mobilize them when you’re ready. I am willing to fall into your trap. But let me take action first before that.”

Tap! Tap!
