Chapter 414: That Name (2)

Wheeeeeeeeeng-

The first thing I saw was a barren field.

Shuuuuuuung. Shuuuuuuuung. Shuuuuuung.

At the same time, lots of people who came here with me also appeared.

As soon as I saw them, I immediately donned a hat and a mask because I didn’t have to tell them I was here too.

Shortly afterwards, a message rang with 10,000 people packing the surroundings around me.

[This is Kuhana. .

-There are certain rules you must follow since you have come here as the advance party to take revenge on those who take hostile actions against the Earth.

: You must get rid of at least 10 enemies per day.

-If you fail to kill at least 10 enemies assigned to you per day, you will be considered as not fulfilling your role as the advance party, so you will die immediately.

-Even if you kill more than 10 enemies per day, it only fulfils your assignment for that day. You still have to kill at least 10 enemies the next day.

-You will fulfil your role if you kill more than 10 enemies per day, but if you kill more enemies than those assigned to you, it will be counted as bonus points, and you will receive extra rewards when you successfully return to the earth.

:You can leave Kuhana and return to the original location by using the ‘return’ command.

-However, as of now, all the members of the Advance Party will be given a 30-day cooldown before you can use the ‘Return’ command.]

Finally, I gleaned a piece of valuable information about the place that used to be called o o o. It was now revealed to have the name Kuhana. Moreover, I seemed to understand why the Talagapa Guild members could not return to the Earth.

I had the impression that they were also given the mission of killing at least 10 enemies unconditionally per day like us. In other words, it was fundamentally impossible for them to quietly hide for the 30 days as they had originally planned.

10 enemies per person was never a small number as long as the enemies were not monsters.

No wonder they began to complain as soon as they confirmed the message.

“What the heck is this? In the end, we have to fight them unconditionally, right?”

“Damn it! I thought it would be okay just to stay in hiding here! Oh my God!”

“I should have noticed why the giant guilds and groups stayed silent about this event!”

“You bet! They must have found out about it in advance!”

A commotion broke out among them right away.

Obviously the message mentioned a 30-day cooldown, but it didn’t mention anything about the mission that they should kill at least 10 enemies per day.

At that moment, somebody stepped forward and started speaking.

“Everyone, please calm down. We’re here in the end, and now that we can’t change our decision, we have to work together. That way we can increase our survival rate!”

If there is a group, there is bound to be a leader who leads the group.

If there is no leader, the first thing the group has to do is select their leader.

That was the case with this group, too.

Aside from the guy who drew their attention by shouting loudly, there were a couple of others who also raised their voices to draw their attention. Faced with the fact that they came to a more dangerous place than they thought, the crowds were prepared to rely on their chosen leader out of anxiety and fear.

Even though I made up my mind to act alone in advance, I became even more convinced to do so after watching them wrangling over their safety. In other words, I decided to move separately from them.

Of course, it was true that the more they numbered, the more advantageous they were in certain situations. That was usually the case for the weak.

But the people here numbered over 10,000, or more precisely,13,821.

They needed to kill a total of 140,000 enemies just to survive every day. Given that they were trapped here for 30 days, the number of enemies they needed to kill would accumulate exponentially.

In other words, they had no time to lose because the event had already started. And it was not necessarily good to build up their muscles in this situation because they needed to find more enemies anyway. Of course, not all of them were foolish because quite a few of them already began to prepare seriously. They were ready to fight the enemies by themselves instead of relying on sheer luck. So I had no choice but to cheer for them since they were seriously prepared.

But I had no intention of getting involved in their matters any more than that.

If they survived and returned to Earth, it would obviously be helpful from a global perspective, but that didn’t mean I came here to take care of them as their ‘babysitter.’

Moreover, the fiercer I fight here, the more it will help them in the end because it will distract the enemies attention away from them.

Of course, I was not sure if they would recognize my invisible efforts, but I had no intention of having them recognize it, so I also got ready to fight.

“First, let me divide you according to your reality actualization rate. If your rate is over 50%, please move over here. If your rate is over 30% and 40%, move over there. And if your rate is below 10% and 20%, stand at the end of the line. If your rate is much higher than what I mentioned, I’ll treat you accordingly,” said the leader of the group.

Of course, I didn’t want to move along with these stupid guys who tried to group them together according to their reality actualization rate in a situation where they should simply focusing on surviving day by day.

So I moved away from them, and used Blink with zero cooldown to look around carefully. But then an unexpected message rang.

[As a member of the ‘Advance Party’, you are the first who has escaped the 24-hour safety zone in Kuhana.

– You are rewarded for your outstanding courage and fighting spirit.

: You have obtained 1000 remaining stat points.]

“Oh my…”

I never expected this kind of message. Of course I liked this message that rang as if it welcomed me in this event because it could mean the smooth start of my journey here. At the same time, I opened the status window and invested all 1000 remaining stat points in intellect.

So I started to move.

A little later, I found out some information about this place. In other words, I knew that monsters existed here too. Moreover, they dropped coins as well as golden rings.

In that respect, they were not much different from the monsters on the earth.

I confronted those monsters shortly afterwards.

Even though they were also my enemies, I didn’t have any particular feelings towards them.

But other guys present were different.

“Ugh! Invaders!”

“How come they are here?”

“Attack! You must kill him!”

There were seven men and women.

To be honest, their looks were not much different from us just like those who appeared before America’s Holdridge Group, or in Osaka, Japan.

Of course, they were different from the black liquid man.

Anyway, I wasn’t hostile to them, but they charged at me like those who appeared in Japan and America as if they had met their mortal enemy.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

[...]

None of their swords, spears and arrows penetrated my body, not to mention their scary thunder.

Watching them attack me, I opened my mouth nonchalantly.

“Anybody here wants to share some information with this intruder?”

“…”

“…”

“…”
