Swoosh!

The trio of Shin, Arthur, and Leonard walked out of the void gate that Shin had created earlier and arrived at the designated location where they were going to meet with Shiella and her group.

"They are still not here?" said Shin while sweeping his gaze at their surroundings with a knitted brow.

At the same time, the other two also swept their gazes on the whole place, trying to see if there were other people present in this place.

"Maybe they are caught with some traffic?" joked Arthur after making sure that there was no ambush waiting for them.

And that was when the trio heard some mechanical sounds coming from a certain direction.

"Look like they also arrived in time," said Leonard while turning his head where those sounds were coming from.

In there, they saw a group of mechanical vehicles that looked practically like a fully-armored military vehicle from the real world.

Whistle~?

"Whenever I see those Magical Wagons, they always remind me of those vehicles in your family's military base," muttered Leonard while looking at the incoming vehicles.

"Well, those are the main models that Big Sis uses when she asked Tinker to build those Magical Wagons," replied Arthur while shrugging his shoulders.

And that was the only time Shin managed to react and asked with a surprised look on his face. "What!? Those are the Magical Wagons that you guys are talking about!?"

He then took another at the incoming vehicles before continuing. "No matter how hard I tried to look at them, they still look like a group of military vehicles in my eyes."

Hearing that, the two couldn't help but nod their heads as they practically felt the same way when they saw those vehicles for the first time.

A few moments later, the Magical Wagons arrived in front of the trio before one of them opened its door as Shin and her chiefs walked out from it. And right after she got out, Shiella immediately swept her in the whole place as if she was looking for someone.

"Where is he?" asked Shiella with a deep frown when she couldn't find the person that she was looking for.

Understanding who she was implying to, Shin immediately replied. "He already left. He said that there are a few urgent things waiting for him back in the Town, so he needs to head back as soon as possible."

Hearing that, Shiella looked at Shin with squinting eyes, showing her displeasure. And when the latter saw that, he immediately. "But he also said that he will meet you at your office as soon as possible. It looks like he wants to discuss a few things with you."

This time, the displeasure on Shiella's eyes suddenly turned into a suspicious one while sweeping her gaze at the trio. And when the three saw that, they immediately held their breaths, trying to hide their anxiousness.

Shiella stared at the trio for a couple of seconds before releasing a helpless sigh before saying. "Well, I can't do anything about it anymore since he already left."

She then swept her gaze at the three once again before saying. "Since he is already gone, I guess we don't have anything to do here anymore. So, are you three going to stay here or are you guys coming back with us?"

Then the three turned their heads at each other before coming up with a tacit agreement.

"We are going back on our own, Big Sis. After all, we still have a place that we need to visit," replied Shin while wearing a smile.

Shiella knitted her eyebrows for a moment before turning around right after saying. "Suit yourselves then."

"We're heading back," shouted Shiella as she went back to the Magical Wagon that she came from. But before the door closed itself, someone suddenly jumped out behind it before running towards the trio.

"Wait! Let me come with you!" said that person as he ran towards Shin and the other two as if was running for his life.

"Eh! That's…!" muttered Shin as he immediately recognized the person that was running towards them.

"Wait! Let me join your group! Or at least take me away from that guy!" said Chaotic Luck when he arrived in front of the three while kneeling on the ground.

Then Shin and the others turned their heads in the direction of the person that he was talking about. And in there, they saw the Chief Miner of the Hand of Midas staring at them with an awkward look on his face.

"What's with him?" asked Arthur while pointing at Walsh.

Hearing that, Chaotic Luck immediately replied. "That guy wants me to work for him and use my special undead summonses on mining."

"How can I agree with that! I've worked so hard and sacrificed a lot just to achieve these powers, yet that guy wants me to work as a mere miner? That is not going to happen!" said Chaotic Luck on the verge of tears.

Seeing the current look on his face, the three looked at him with a confused look on their face. And when Arthur couldn't take it anymore, he immediately said. "Hey! Stop crying, that is not something you can waste your tears for."

But despite Arthur comforting him, Chaotic Luck immediately refuted with a fierce tone. "How am I not going to cry!? That guy defeated all of my strongest monsters despite just having a Lifestyle Class! That's way too unfair!"

Cough! Cough!

This time, the look on the trio's face immediately became different as they couldn't help but look at Chaotic Luck full of pity.

"Who says you can challenge a Chief of that Trading Firm?" – Thought the three while shaking their heads with a bitter smile.

After that, Shin looked at Walsh and others before signaling them that they could leave now. And when the Chief Miner saw that, he immediately became dejected before turning around unwillingly.

After seeing off the Magical Wagons, Shin turned his attention back at Chaotic Luck before asking. "Why do you want to come with us? Can't you stay in this place instead? After all, you already have the strength to protect yourself just like what you have said earlier."

Hearing that, Chaotic Luck immediately wore a look on his face before replying. "If it is just some small fries from those huge guilds, then I'm confident that I can at least protect myself against them no matter how many they are."

"The problem is their most elite groups. Or even those top experts of their guilds," he added with an even bitter tone.

He then took a brief pause before continuing. "What's more, after what all happened, I'm sure that the Undying Guild is going to put a bounty on my head. You should have known that Immortal is most probably aware of me now after you fight him in that hall earlier."

"Given all of that, it is better for me to leave this Empire now and migrate to another place," added Chaotic Luck with a helpless sigh.

After hearing his side, the three exchanged gazes before Arthur asked Shin. "It's up to you. Didn't you say that you exchanged blows with him earlier? So, how skilled is he?"

Shin thought for a moment when heard that before replying. "Well, I'm not sure about that either."

"His skills are quite average and his control over his summoned monsters is only above average. The only thing that makes him different from others is his race and class; especially those strange undead monsters that are unaffected by Holy Powers and other elements. In fact, it seems like they are being enhanced by those powers instead of harming them."

Hearing that, Arthur and Leonard nodded their heads before looking at Chaotic Luck with interested gazes. But it was still not enough to let him join the Adventurer Team that they were planning to build.

Chaotic Luck was able to understand what they were thinking so he immediately begged. "Please! Let me join your group! I promise that I will train hard so that I can be good enough to be part of your team!"

But Arthur and Leonard couldn't be swayed by that, especially the former who already had a picture of the Adventurer Team that he was dreaming of.

Seeing the two shaking their heads, Chaotic Luck knew that he couldn't change their minds anymore. But before he could even lose all of his hope, he suddenly heard Shin saying. "But there is actually an even more interesting thing about him that really piqued my interest."

"And it was a very rare 'talent' that even you two will like," added Shin with a mystifying tone.

With those words, both Arthur and Leonard couldn't help but become curious and want to ask more.

Unfortunately, Shin didn't disclose it with them yet and just said with a mysterious grin. "You know, it is best for the two of you to experience it yourselves."

After that, Shin turned around and started walking before waving his hand at them while saying. "Let's go! We need to wrap this up properly so that we can head back home as soon as possible."

"Hey! That's unfair! Tell us about it immediately. Don't spoil the fun!" yelled Arthur while chasing after Shin.

"Says the one who always wants to do these kinds of mystifying things," sneered Shin.

"What about this guy then?" asked Leonard while pointing at Chaotic Luck who was still kneeling on the ground.

Hearing that, Shin looked over his shoulder before replying. "Let's keep him for now. Who knows, he may become useful in the future."

After that, he looked at Arthur before whispering with an evil tone. "Just train him with Leonard for a little bit. If he really is no good, then we can just 'hand' him over to the Hand of Midas Trading Firm."

Arthur started laughing out loud when he heard that before saying. "You're such an evil guy."

And that was when Leonard and Chaotic Luck caught up with them.

"Thank you, Big Brother! I'll make sure to train properly so that I will not disappoint you!" said Chaotic Luck right after he caught up with Shin.

As they were walking towards their destination, Shin suddenly remembered something and immediately asked Chaotic Luck. "Anyway, how did you guys manage to sneak all of those large vehicles out? And how many Mana Crystals and Mana Stones did you guys get?"

Hearing that, Chaotic Luck couldn't help but freeze for a brief moment before replying. "About that-… Ahm… How should I put this...?"

***********

Meanwhile, inside the cave where the Superior Mana Vein was located, Immortal and his Apostles were currently standing in the middle of that place while looking in front of them with mixed emotions.

After successfully forcing the Central Order to retreat and sending them back to their own territory, the higher-ups of the Undying Guild immediately send their most elite group, aside from Immortal's Apostles, to guard the cave.

But after a long time, they didn't receive any kind of reports from them aside from the first report which said that everything was under control.

Despite being suspicious, the higher-ups of the guild had no choice but to trust such reports since they could still see the names of those members online in the guild channel.

But at this point in time, these members were lying on the ground unconscious for who knew when.

"It seems like they are purposely knocked down by those people. And based on the moisture in the air and the unknown substance mixed in it, they are most likely knocked out by some sort of sleeping potion or similar item," said Elliot after scanning their surroundings.

Hearing that, the first apostle immediately added. "Those guys are quite crafty. Knocking out these players to prevent them from either logging out or getting respawned? Such a creative way to prevent us from receiving any kind of report."

While they were discussing that, Immortal immediately sprinted towards the inner part of the cave where the Mana Vein was currently located.

Seeing that, the Apostles immediately chased after him even though they were all thinking that it was impossible to harvest everything from such a huge vein in just a short amount of time.

Unfortunately, all of their hopes were immediately shattered when they discovered that the supposedly huge mana vein was nowhere to be found; not a single trace was left behind as if there was no Superior Mana Vein in here in the first place.

"How is this possible!?" were the only words that they could think of after seeing the sight in front of them.

At the same time, Immortal couldn't hold back his anger any longer and immediately shouted while releasing a powerful pressure that shook the whole cave.

"I WILL MAKE SURE TO MAKE ALL OF YOU PAY FOR THIS!"
