" This is new... " Donovan murmurs to himself while exploring the whole place.
" 'Crimson Chasm', perhaps the 'Crimson' refers to the whole place covered in Crimson Rubies...? " Donovan says it while examining the whole place.
" The 'Item' is nearby, come Donovan! " Charlotte calls him as her ring is glowing bright.
The two kids began continuing their journey once more, so smooth, no ups and downs, just a flat exploration in an empty chasm filled with bright rubies.
" So there's the item? " Donovan asks as they reached the place where the Ring's Gem is placed.
The Gem, a Crimson Ruby Gemstone with tusk around it, is placed in Golden Altar, surrounded by Giant Crimson Rubies around it.

"( Manifests...? )" Donovan sees the description, witnessing as Charlotte approached into the Altar by herself.
" I'm so lucky to finally found you... " Charlotte says as she smiles.
" With you and ring combined, I will... " Charlotte continues her monologue, while Donovan, being the wary and explorative he is, decided to look around, seeing if there's some Loot he could get.
" No loots, scram! " Donovan gets pissed for he found no good to be obtained within the place.
He sees the Golds and Bones, seeing it as Unobtainable for the System founds no use or even currency in it.
" These Golds and Bones are too ancient, perhaps because the darkened color. "
" Aside from my prediction, I believe this chasm is more ancient than I thought. "
" Perhaps, there's something that... " Donovan sees an ancient text, suddenly the <Vague Memory Voices> activates.

Donovan hears it and gets confused, the <Vague Memory Voices> being 'Vague' as always, tells Donovan things in puzzles rather than an instruction, never revealed anything that could be a clue upright to him.
Donovan thinks about the last word " Bal... ".
" Every time I hear it, I didn't get it in my mind, but... "
" I always feel that I understand what it means, as if my heart or my mind secretly implying that those words happened a long time ago. " Donovan says while reading more of the Ancient Texts.
He reads it as much as he can, while the <Vague Memory Voices> still whispers to him about things he probably felt ever either heard or even say it before.
* Donovan huffs and pants as he listens to it all. *
While Donovan is busy contemplating over the texts he sees randomly, in the other hand, Charlotte is busy combining both Ring and Gem, making it one again, completing the Item's Complete Form.
" Now you are now one once more. "
" With this, Mother wish will- " before Charlotte could say anything, her body is suddenly grabbed by Donovan, pulling her out of the altar's radius.
" Dono- " Charlotte shouts as Donovan suddenly did that, but suddenly.
* Giant Ruby destroyed. *
" Grrrl... " A creature's hand comes out from it, it snarls while the silhouette finally shown itself within the very Giant Ruby.
" What is- " Charlotte was frightened as Donovan pick her and suddenly, somehow, summon Black Creatures out of his Shadows.

" Donovan, what is... "
" My summons, the Black Shadows... "
" From birth, I can summon them but I've decided to keep it from others, even my family... " he explains as they mount the beast, while the Creature from the Crystal slowly breaks out and roars even louder.
" Aside from this, the reason I summoned this now is because the thing that follows us, the thing you unknowingly awaken as you combined the Ring and the Gem. "
" What!? " Charlotte surprised.
" How did you... "
" I read the ancient texts around the place, I somehow understand it using whatever gut I have... " Donovan tries to refer the <Vague Memory Voices> as his gut or his instincts.
" I don't know if the ancient texts was translated correctly in my mind or not, but I believed it told me about an 'Ancient Juggernaut from the Abyss'... "
" One who came from the 'Tower of the Abyssal Realm' or whatever it is... "
" Said to had been made from thousands of dead Demonic Creatures of old... "
" I guess whoever must've brought it and sealed it here, used it's power to guard the Gem, perhaps killing those who combined it into one once again. " Donovan tells what he just unraveled behind her.
" What!? seriously!? " Charlotte asks as the 'Black Shadow Beast' they mounted runs so fast, as Donovan ordered it to go and go back to the Floating Lift Ground they came from earlier.
" The only way to get out is through how we get in... "
" Guess that's how we get out from here, using that classic prediction in the old movie things, hehe... " Donovan jokes while Charlotte is so regretful, realizing what she did just endangered both of them.
While the two of them mounted the Beast and charged as fast as it can, but from behind them, a loud roar approaches, roars that comes with sound of rising blaze, the roar that comes like a storm of fire.
" The 'Ancient Juggernaut of the Abyss'... "
" It is said that it once destroyed thousands of humans at that time. "
" Before Ragnarok, this creature roams free and then defeated, sealed by an unknown party. "
" The creature itself is the direct manifestation of fire, the worst of the kind. "
" One that the 'esteemed' Clarent House used as a weapon during their war. "
" The Abyssal Juggernaut Beast, the Scorned Chimera of Destruction... "
" The Balrog of Doom, Drugorath! " Donovan introduces the name of the thing that pursues them, as Drugorath itself runs towards them alongside his flames.
* Drugorath runs, earth rumbles. *
* Charlotte gasps. *
" He's still far, but I'm no idiot to relax in any second. " Donovan refers to it as a 'he', recounting what it looked like inside the Rubies', judging by it's silhouette at that time.
" This is my fault... " Charlotte says while shivering, never thought things would've come to this.
" No, it's not! "
" We simply had no choice but to explore and now we're facing one of the risks. "
" Awaking something we should've not to... "
" And now, we must escape... "
" For that's is our Quest, for now... "
" Escape. " Donovan states as the System reveals him the quest.
