" Darkness... " Duncan sees the world around him, a world of Darkness made using Tenebrae's [Area Alter Magic].
He walks around, witnessing the black skies and ground that enveloped him, he walked freely with ease as he was amazed by it.
"( So this is the Royals call 'Area Alter Magic'...? )"
"( Interesting, to have the capability to create 'Space' separated from the real one... )"
"( No wonder the 'facility' secretly analyzed the concept of 'Magic'... )" Duncan suddenly recounts the past.
Still amazed during the silence of darkness, Duncan tries to touch around, wondering if there's a nearby object made within the very dark.
" I'm impressed. " a voice suddenly calls him.
" Usually, any person who enters this immediately call their parents and pee in their pants. "
" But you, Duncan Grimshaw, was it? "
" I didn't see any trace of fear, in your face. "
" Hmph, fear...? " Duncan replies.
" This 'Darkness' you just made, instead of giving me torturous fear of it, it instead makes me reminded of home. " Duncan bluntly tells Tenebrae.
After telling his reason, Duncan then stares at Tenebrae's position, immediately making Tenebrae surprised as Duncan glared him right in the spot.

Despite not seeing Tenebrae's full-revealed body, Duncan's 'Innate Sight' ables him to see the presence inside the Dark, something innate from his 'real race's biology.
Even after his 'Advancement', there's some bits of his innate natural biology that exist, either intentional or not, but this innate trait is the thing that helps him in this very day.
Duncan then sprints to Tenebrae's location, he wastes no time after knowing where he hides himself in the dark.
" Guokh! " Tenebrae dodges it in his surprise, he who was still confident of his hideousness now realized that this is bad for him.
"( What the-! )" Tenebrae dodges while giving a shocked expression.
"( He can actually 'see' me!? )" Tenebrae immediately shivers as he realized it quick, it didn't come into seconds as his very thoughts realized alongside Duncan's fist aiming directly in his dark hided face.
" Don't dodge! " Duncan aims his fist and says to Tenebrae as he finally realized, it was at this moment that he knew, he f*ked up.

Duncan hits the face hard into the ground, he didn't hold any restrain on that very punch, a punch made from his 'Advanced Muscular Upgrade' in the 'facility'.
* Ground cracks. *

" Kuokh... " Tenebrae scoffs blood after getting hit, he was not dead, but what Duncan did immediately made him stunned for a while.
"( He is physically weak... )" Duncan says after it.
"( His Mana maybe that strong for his 'human' age, but his body, it lacks the strength... )"
"( Perhaps 'Black Merchant' was right that the humans in Elysium Haven are strong merely because they enhances their body with Magic and not by any harder means like intensive physical training or modification like in the 'facility'. )"

Duncan reflects on the battle, his mind begin to hypothesize the valid reason for his victory, which he hypothesized it was his 'Advanced Physique' unlike any other of the humans in this realm.
" Hey... " Tenebrae calls Duncan while he thinks to himself, he immediately flies a punch filled with his 'Darkness Magic' to his face.

" Fool, you think your victory is pre-determined? " Tenebrae asks after that explosive strike on to Duncan's face, he smirks on how he got him this time.
" Really? " Duncan asks as the smoke effect of the attack dissipates from his face.
Tenebrae startled as he sees the result, seeing the fist only hits the forehead but gives no serious or visible damage whatsoever.

" My victory is already, determined. " Duncan continues and grabs the hand, holding it hard as it hurts Tenebrae.
" Grah! " Tenebrae yells hard as his hand his pressed so hard by Duncan's strong finger grasp.
Using the powerful finger press, Duncan tortures Tenebrae by constantly pressing harder Tenebrae's grabbed hand, hurting him like hell.
" Hurt doesn't it? " Duncan ask as he smirks.
" DAMN YOU!!! " Tenebrae yells at him.
" HOW DARE YOU HURT ME, DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM!? " Tenebrae asks which Duncan calmly responded with a smirk.
" I already mentioned it earlier, I know who you are... " Duncan tells.
" But I don't really care, despite whatever people told me about you. "
" After all, the fact is in front of me, that you are still inferior to me... " Duncan smiles as he says that which made Tenebrae more angry.
" INFERIOR!? " Tenebrae releases more of his darkness magic.
" YOU COMMONER, LOWER THAN ANY FILTH! "
" YOU DARE CALL ME, INFERIOR!? "
" ME? A GODDAMN ROYAL AND HEIR TO THE NYX NOCTERRA ROYAL HOUSE!? " Tenebrae says it while aiming his Darkness Magic, but...
* Duncan presses the hand more, bringing more pain. *
As it happens, Tenebrae stops his Magic release due to the unbearable pain, he yells at Duncan angrily while his mouth chants any spell that could free him.
Seeing the attempt, knowing that the chanting might be dangerous, Duncan slaps Tenebrae's face as hard as he can, making one of his teeth gone off for the slap's very force is too great.
" WHAT ARE YOU... AN ORC!? " Tenebrae asks after receiving a hit, a hit he believed may be as strong as an Orc's punch.
But Duncan didn't care, he cares no shit about the person he slaps, Tenebrae's status didn't made him reconsider his actions or perhaps the cause he could get from it.
" This is what you get from even thing on bullying me with your High Status... " Duncan says while slapping.
" You must believed in your mind I will be your easy prey, don't ya? " Duncan as he slaps harder and harder while pressing harder Tenebrae's grabbed hand.
" Kakh! " Tenebrae spits right after the gradual slap.
" Well, bad news for you, I will never become an easy prey... "
" I've been through so much hell in the 'facility', I deserved the new life... "
" And you think I will let some 'Royal Brat' to intervene!? "
" Well, No! " Duncan harness his Mana, enhancing his hand with it as he then slaps Tenebrae with the hardest he could muster from it.

He sees Tenebrae on the ground, defeated, just like that.
" I must wait for him to wake up, or perhaps feed on him and take his place... "
" But...? " Duncan thinks to himself as the System's 'Visible Words' begin to appear before him as he unlocked a new Skill.
" Hmmm..., interesting. "
" Might as well to change pace, for now. " Duncan says as he then decides to accept the new skill.
