" Lord Tenebrae," said Investigator Frank as he meets him in his chambers.
" Yes *yawns*, what is it, Frank. "
" I see you have returned from Alviheim, how was your trip? " Franks asks Tenebrae.
" Well, not too great, I didn't get an action though, but still... "
" There are some things that are fun to watch there, but sadly all fun things have to end, right? " Tenebrae asks and yawns as he was bored lately.
" Seriously, the Elves really getting too much hasty lately. "
" They really need to chill. " Tenebrae says as he then brings out something he brings from Alviheim using his Dark Magic [Tenebris Servare].
He pulls out the object which surprised Frank as he sees Tenebrae brings out a beating golden light heart.
" A heart!? " Frank shouts as he sees it.
" It belongs to the Star Elf King, I ripped this from him per my deal with the Elf Emperor. "
" A deal? " Frank asks.
" Yeah, a deal... "
" By the way, put this on the freezing incubator would you, we need it later after all. "
" The 'Heart of the Star', was pretty catchy for a name, was it? " Tenebrae says as Frank tells his lord to shut up and let him leave with the heart.
" And there he goes. " Tenebrae sees him leaving.
" Well, things are going to have a great turn for now. " Tenebrae says as he looks at the stars of the night.
" I can't really wait for tomorrow. "
" I hope things would turn out great for me. " Tenebrae says as he is done with his work.

[ Inside the Residence's Basement. ]
" Again! " Arthur orders Carlos who fought him, they were dueling their blades in order to get Carlos the grasp of the Aether energy.
"As I said, the 'Aether' could only be achieved by those who had witnessed death. " Arthur says to Carlos during his spar with him.
" You are like me son, you are so talented which often makes us have no slot for improvements. "
" From our youth, we both had so much talent and power, as we break our challenges with ease, that's the first similarity between you and me. "
" But sadly, things are different now. " Arthur says as he knocks out Carlos into the wall so hard, he wounded him.
Carlos pants and spits blood, his eyes are getting blurred.
"( Aether, Aether... )" Carlos tries to feel the Aether, wanting to know if it's true by the theory that the Aether could only be felt and used by those who had witnessed and survived death.
"( Why I couldn't feel it, I...? )" Carlos prays for feeling the Aether, he prays to have it like Carol and Draven.
" Shit! " Carlos rises up, for he unleashes great aura, his usual Mana for he unleashed his Star Magic.
"( It's hard for you, huh? )" Arthur says as he sees his son.
"( I've already known this would happen, especially since this kid is already too perfect from birth, just like me. )"
"( Which is my greatest sin... )" Arthur says as he deflects Carlos' raging attacks, for some short time, Carlos rages on during the training, he attacks his father with everything he had.

[ Star Slashing Style: Starcaliburn I ]
" 'Starcaliburn'? " Arthur is surprised that his son already managed to use this sword style.
" So you have trained this too, huh? " Arthur asks Carlos.
" Indeed father, I luckily learned it from my uncle. "
" After all, I'm your talented son, am I? "
" Luck, Talent, you say? " Arthur says to Carlos.
" You got it easy... " Arthur says while blocking the attack and hits Carlos again with his fist.
" UOOKH! "
" You sure had too much talent from a young age, as expected from my son. " Arthur tells Carlos.
" But let me tell you this, son... " Arthur says, followed by his rapid fists as he hits Carlos many times.
" You had too much arrogance to even think that by your sheer luck and talent, you could face everything around you. "
" If you were me, then that thought could still be applied many years ago for I had few rivals that could match my luck and talent. " Arthur tells Carlos as he hits him so hard into the ground.
" But your time is different, you are sure to be strong, lucky, and talented thanks to my genetic legacy, but despite that, there are other brats who could probably match or even defeat you. " Arthur tells Carlos, teaching him the reality that from now on, he must work even harder to overpower everyone.
" That Richter House's grandson, he is the first example I could think of that could threaten your very existence. " Arthur says as he grabs Carlos's head, raising his body up.
" But dad, Donovan... "
" You still think that brat is your friend...! " Arthur punched Carlos in the stomach to make some sense into him.
" He may be your friend for now, but after your academic studies are over... "
" Those you called 'friends' will become your rivals, and from rivals, they become 'enemies'. " Arthur tells him.
" That's the reality, son! "
" I'm preparing you for that, you're my son, my heir! "
" My heir couldn't be a weak, lazy, entitled, loser who depends on universal lucks and coincidences, no! "
" My heir should be the strongest and only the strongest of them all! "
" For that is your true destiny as the next Calibur House Head, Carlos! " Arthur then decides to use his magic, in order to make Carlos into a near-death state.
[ Star Magic Fist: Starcrusher ]
With that, Arthur hits Carlos so hard as the ground creates a huge star mark as it gets destroyed.
" KUOOKH! " Carlos gets the pain, he received it hard as it really knocks him.
" Are you in a coma, yet? " Arthur asks Carlos but receives no answer.
" Good, I hope this helps you. " Arthur says as he decides to wait for Carlos.
" You are lucky you received this training from me, out of all places. "
" If you train this while fighting an enemy, then you wouldn't be so lucky to let them wait for you to get the grasp on the growth process. " Arthur says as he reveals to the fainted Carlos that he's been holding himself back to make sure he doesn't ruin Carlos too much.
" Then, let's see now if you are lucky to get the 'Aether' too. "

Carlos is in his coma state, his mind suddenly goes into a Mind Realm that he knows.
" This is... "
" We meet again, learning the 'Aether', aren't you? " '#####' says, the being inside Carlos' body.
" You know the 'Aether'? " Carlos asks him.
'#####' listens to it and smirks.
" What an odd question, of course, I know that kind of power. " '#####' shows as he uses it in front of Carlos.
" Want me to teach you? " he asks Carlos.
