Chapter 130: Personal Things Part 1
( The next day. )
[ In the Hospital's Receptionist Desk. ]
Carol has come to visit Carlos, as she was his relative in the academy. She comes to the hospital after Principal Axel tells her the location where he was treated, and she decided to go there and see his condition for herself.
" Here you go... " Carol already fills out the form and then waits for the receptionist to deal with the things as she also sees that she's not the one visiting this place.
"( Guess we're the ones who get the minor casualties... )" Carol says as she sees the others taken to the hospital. Many of them take their relatives after the Elves attack their respective places.
" How many of those did the Elves harm...? " said another person in the waiting sit as she also brings her child whose arm is being damaged.
Seeing it, Carol began to wonder why things are getting so slow from the authorities, so slow and so loose that even she could go anywhere without any check from the authorities even further.
"( Guess the authorities didn't care anymore if you go alone... )"
"( In these times, none should've gone out without the police watching them, but sadly... )"
"( There's no law enforcement left that want to deal with the casualties... ) " Carol remembers the news earlier before she went here.
When she remembered that, she decides to recount everything but suddenly, she felt something, a presence familiar to her is already behind her, without her noticing...
"( This is... )" Carol's sharp senses sense something familiar behind her suddenly.
Her breath continues to pump, as she feels a heavy presence behind her, a person so strong but has a Mana Presence that she recognizes.
" Well, if it isn't my little cousin... "
" Already grown up, didn't you? " a voice says as the person himself pats her shoulder.
" You're... " Carol looks back and sees him, immediately recognizing the person.
" Arthur!!! " Carol calls his name, realizing the person is Arthur Calibur, her cousin, Carlos's father.
" Well if it isn't the cousin of mine... " Arthur says as Carol then immediately looks around behind him.
"( He's alone...? )"
"( And furthermore, how can these people didn't...- )"
" I created a Barrier..., cousin... " Arthur explains to Carol as he uses the Area Alter Magic to separate themselves from the crowd, making them a private place to do their private conversation.

[ This is an Area Alter Magic that could separate the domain realm from reality, making it a separate dimension to seclude whoever uses it. ]
" [Seclusive Space]...!? " Carol realized that she is trapped inside Arthur's Area Alter Magic, the [Seclusive Space] is known to be impenetrable from inside and outside attacks.
As Carol panics, Arthur tells that there's no need for Carol to be alarmed. For no one could hear her here.
" Save your energy, little cousin... "
" It's no use struggling my inescapable realm... " Arthur says which he chuckles and continues.
" Oh wait! you might've escaped, there's a way..., if you can kill me..., which of course is out of your option hahaha! " Arthur teases Carol for he knows his status and power over her.
"( This man... )" Carol is getting pissed off, seeing she can't retaliate from her position now which made her go silent.
"( Guess I had no choice but to do things nicely with him, shouldn't I? )" Carol says as she then asks politely.
" Well how very unfortunate, big brother Arthur... " Carol addresses him as her 'big brother' since he is older than him, had already been married, and has a child.
" How very unfortunate that I have no way to escape you inside this realm... " Carol says, trying to speak as nicely as she can while she holds her hatred.
"( Do you like my generous words...! 'big brother'!? )" Carol thinks with full anger in her hatred-filled mind while her face maintains a generous expression and her attitude is so respectful towards Arthur.
" But regarding that, what is your desire to be here, big brother...? " Carol asks Arthur which made Arthur smirk.
" Well, regarding that, my dear little cousin... " Arthur touches his beard.
" I'm here to do things, personally... " Arthur just straight up tell his reasons for being here, alone, without his men.
" I thought you already know what I mean, don't you? " Arthur asks her which made Carol immediately answer it in her mind.
"( Of course, I know. It's your son, was it not the reason you're here!? )" Carol says as she holds it, but tries to act innocent as much as possible.
As she talks things with Arthur, Carol begins to ask him about the Elven Invasion which made Arthur laughs as he tells Carol that the damage the Elves give to the Calibur Assets is severe, unlike the others.
" Especially the Richters..., those guys get a lot! hahaha! "
" Look at them, even their leader is on the enemy's mercy... " Arthur mocks the Richter House for being too weak in recent years. As he comments on the Richter House's weakness, he comments on how the Richter degrades their pride as a Royal by being more social, and closer to the commoners which should be a taboo for the Royal Blood.
"( This Royal-Exclusivity & Lower class Xenophobic-Radical-Fool! )" Carol angrily curses at Arthur inside her mind as he only talks shit and brags about Calibur's survival over the Elves.
As Arthur brags about himself, Carol then tells him that the receptionist is going to call her which she made as an excuse in order to let Arthur release her, right now.
" Fine, hahaha... "
" Go get it, and let's meet my son, will you? " Arthur still holds his chuckles while releasing Carol as she then was given the room number where they treat Carlos.
As she gets it, she and Arthur begin to go there as they want to see Carlos. Meanwhile, as they were going into the Medic Room where they treat Carlos, Carlos himself in the Medic Room notices their presence, especially.
" Dad...! " Carlos gasps as he senses it, sensing the indomitable presence of his dad.
" What is it, bro? " Donovan says behind the curtain that separates their bed.
As Donovan says it, Carlos then tells him to not speak anything while his father is here, he tells it fearfully as he doesn't want Donovan to get his father's uncomfortable emotions.
" I see, so he's a difficult one, huh-! "
" Yes, and that's why you shouldn't-! "
" Who are you talking to...!? " Arthur and Carol suddenly come as he deactivates his <Seclusive Space>.
" Father!!! " Carlos shouted as he sees him.
