Chapter 66 Infinite Dark Mana Devourer Manual

Zeras eyes narrowed reading the last books as he was caught between which one to choose.

Out of the multitudes of manuals he was able to access, those were the most shockingly effective manuals.

Looking at the manuals, Zeras immediately crossed out some like the Bloody Mana Attraction Manual due to its requirements for blood. Even though the technique was no doubt powerful, its limitations of absorbing Mana from blood and requiring huge amounts of corpse and bloods made Zeras give up the technique.

Where would he get massive amounts of blood from in the EIA? The technique would have been perfect in a war situation. Only then will its true capabilities be unleashed.

The Dark black-hole technique was also impressive but its requirements fir setting up tools before it can be activated made him give it up. He can't walk around carrying with him tools for absorbing Mana. What if he lost them or he was in a serious situation and needed to absorb Mana quickly, he'll then be looking for some tools.

Its ease of usability was very limited and that was enough to make the cautious him give it up.

The Solar Gazer Manual was very good and wouldn't lose out to the other techniques but it's most especially used for absorbing the Sun's Mana. It would have been an excellent choice for those who have genes related to Fire and unfortunately his genes didn't have any semblance to fire. His Biomorph gene was more of a shape-shifting ability and the Chaos Devourer gene had nothing to do with flames.

The technique he was more inclined to choose was the Infinity Dark Mana Devourer.

The first reason he prefered the technique was due to its ease of usability. It was a breathing technique making it very easy to use in all situation. At least he knew had to breathe in all situation unless he was dying. And if he was dying, then absorbing Mana won't be his next priority in that moment.

Secondly unlike the others, it didn't require any special other tools maybe except for his five senses which the Mana will use to enter into his body. Besides, Its area of absorbing Mana was the highest out of the Mana manuals he had encountered with an area of 500km. The highest area in the other manuals wasn't even up to 300km.

Lastly was the grade of the technique itself. It was an Epic Grade technique, the highest among the manuals he looked through in the 30 minutes span. The Epic grade, if he was to guess anything, meant it was at a higher level compared to other techniques.

But the amount of points required to purchase it made Zeras doubt a little. It was a whooping four hundred points which was his entire point balance. As for the pain that accompanied the technique, Zeras wasn't the least worried about that. Besides, how bad can it be compared to having your human genome tearing apart form the infusion of a foreign genetic serum due to being used as a lab rat.

Zeras debated on whether to purchase it or not when suddenly the AI voice rang out.

"10 seconds more."

"Damn... I'll take it..." Zeras immediately held the book tightly in his hands for five seconds before a notification appeared on his watch.

"Do you wish to buy this Manual for 400points?"

"Ye..Ye..Ye...s"

"Congratulations, 400 points deducted."

"Total points balance, 0 points."

A blue wave of energy emanated from the watch as it scanned the book.

"The Infinity Dark Mana Manual has successfully been recorded."

Zeras looked at his watch as he saw the entire manual recorded on his watch.

"No wonder, I didn't see a book in the hands of those emerging from the Hall." Zeras mused as the manual was recorded in his watch instead of him having to take the book out physically.

Zeras signed looking at his points which has changed from 400 to 0.

One thing was now sure about him now, he was as broke as hell.

"Well, at least I won't have to be worried about having my points bullied from me..." Zeras said trying to find a light in his plight as he dragged his body in the direction of his dorm room.

The Mana cultivation room was dimly lit with the blue colored pool of Mana at its center shining with a blue light that illuminated the surrounding walls in the room.

Zeras looked at the blue pool of Mana as he shut the door closed.

Taking off his EIA shirt, Zeras slowly entered the pool as he sat down cross-legged in the pool, his chest upward outside the pool.

He could already feel the Mana entering into his body through his pores just from sitting down in the pool.

Zeras immediately focused as he looked at his watch and looked at the process described within.

After reading the process more than five times continuously in order to ensure he properly understood the manual.

Zeras finally began as his normal breathing rhythm slowly changed. Little by little, Zeras suddenly felt the Mana around him suddenly getting aroused as the pool of Mana around him suddenly form a revolving hole with him at the centre.

Finishing the last set of breathing technique in the Manual. Zeras's face changed as he felt an unbelievable amount of force suddenly slam into his body all at once.

It felt like suddenly opening a dam. The amount of force that the water will use to burst out hole would be horrifying and that was exactly how Zeras felt.

The Mana was like a completely filled dam opening into Zeras body. They crazily entered into his pores but as if that wasn't enough, they entered into his mouth, ears and eyes in an unending Mana as Zeras clenched his tightly from the pain.

Pain. Horrifying Amount of Pain.

"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH." Zeras screamed out his lungs as horrifying amount of Mana entered into his body all crazily moving towards his Mana core in his dantians which flared with a powerful golden light.

Although the pain was horrifying. He could feel his cultivation crazily improving with shocking speed.
