Chapter 129 - Where were you in my long nightmare.
A photo rested in his hands. His cold eyes swept through those pictures. In wouldn't be right to say that he was unaffected. There was a slight ripple in his countenance. But he was able to overcome it quickly before ayone could detect. "What do you want by showing these to me?"
Su Jiayi was not standing far from him. "I don't why did you have a sudden change in heart. But this shows everything that Jing Lihua wants. And it doesn't involve you!" Su Jiayi didn't pick up the pictures. She wanted her brother to look at them. She wanted him to hate her.
"I never said I had a change of heart. Su Liwei didn't look at the photos anymore. He rose and walked to the window and glanced outside. His expressions were cold.
"Then why did you defy uncle?! Why did you resign than hurt her?"
Su Liwei was silent. He didn't respond.
"Your silence can't hide anything. Before mother died you had confessed to us all your feelings for her." Su Jiayi had bandages over her face. She was still furious.
She picked up the pictures in which Jing Lihua was seen kissing a man. The picture was taken by a spy instilled by them close to her Tang Enterprise complex. The face of the man whom she kissed was not visible. Because in the picture, she had turned back and kissed the man in the car while the man hugged her.
How stupid of her. If she wanted an affair, she could at least be discreet.
"I have told. I have already given up on her. I don't want to have anything to do with her." Su Liwei said after a long silence.
"You can't escape it, big brother." Su Jiayi was not going to give up. "You can't escape the promise you made to our mother on her deathbed." Su Jiayi put the pictures back into a file. Whatever Su Empire did now happened with both of their consent and planning. Su Liwei had completely given up on everything. "It has been two months since your marriage to her. Back then, she was at the edge of bankruptcy. But right now, she is not far from reaching us to us."
"How do you expect me to take her away?" Su Liwie calmly asked.
"You are a newlywed couple. Be it Honeymoon or whatever excuse you have to provide. Just take her away. We want a chance; her company without her presence. Only then we can do something."
When Su Liwei didn't reply, Su Jiayi laughed: "What am I assume from this? You are not even willing to do this much? If not for that you want to protect her, why else you behave this way? Su Liwei have you really forgotten how our mother passed away!" Su Jiayi's voice rose.
