Chapter 386 – Cat Dad's Father is Angry
Lu Bu and his group reached the B3 floor, aka the Fun Level. However, no party girl was present on this floor.
This level was a straightforward school maze with identical intersections. It was easy to navigate, but the path to the B4 was difficult to find as it was located right behind the entrance, 100 meters behind the stair room. In addition, intruders must travel in a certain pattern to solve the labyrinth puzzle, which was the only way to unlock the door of the B3's boss room.
As soon as Lu Bu arrived, he instantly turned around as he sensed the location of the next floor's entrance. However, there was no path toward the boss room behind the stairway from the B2 level.
"A maze? Too bad. I'm the demon king of Death Valley. I eat mazes for breakfast!"
Lu Bu leisurely strolled toward the back wall of the staircase room. He smacked it with his halberd.

The wall didn't budge, and Lu Bu's crescent halberd bounced from impact.
Although his first attempt failed, Lu Bu sneered, "Again!"

This time, Lu Bu cut empty air, opening a dimensional portal. The space in front of him parted like a sliced piece of cloth, showing the area beyond the wall.
It was the boss room of Fun Level. However, as Party Queen was on the B2 floor, nobody was around.
Lu Bu pried the dimensional portal open and gestured his troops to get in. Wei Cao and others jumped into the portal and appeared inside the Fun Level's boss room.
The bright room was decorated with countless balloons and colorful wallpapers. The cartoon carpet was new while the tables on the edge of the room formed a two-column formation. On the table, countless tableware, plates, chafers, closed pots, and many buffet containers had been arranged. As there was no pillar like the previous boss rooms, this grand hall seemed spacious.
One of the immortals got curious. He walked toward one of the buffet containers and opened the lid.
"!!!"
He regretted it. He closed the lid and backed away from the container.
Lu Bu noticed his subordinate's action. He entered the portal and closed it. Then, he inspected the dishes on the table. When he opened a chafer, he clicked his tongue in disgust.
"They eat humans, it seems."
Everything in the containers was fleshy-baked cakes, made from human flesh. Disgusted, Lu Bu turned around and ignored the food here.
"Let's proceed. We're going to the next floor."
Wei Cao and everybody were relieved. They turned toward the door behind the throne in this room.
Lu Bu kicked the door open, and they found another set of staircases to the lower floor. Wei Cao led the team down the stairs right away while Lu Bu maintained as the rearguard.
"Eh?"
"Kikikiki?"
While Lu Bu and his team were in the middle of walking down the stairs, Qidia, Cookie, and 100 party girl children entered the boss room and found them.
Qidia's face lost color. On the other hand, Cookie covered the children with a flame barrier and carried them under her wings. She kicked the ground and fled from the boss room.
"…"
Lu Bu silently raised his halberd and swung down once.
SWUA!
Although the halberd only cut empty air, Cookie's body was vertically cleaved in half!
"C-Coo…"
Cookie ignored the pain. She looked at the plush toy monsters under her wings.
Everybody but Cookie was unharmed.
"Live on, coo…"
Cookie collapsed. Her body dissipated into red ash.
"COOKIE!"
Qidia screamed in shock and anger. She summoned a water spear and activated her domain.

Again, Lu Bu leisurely swung his halberd at empty air horizontally. Instantly, Qidia's head flew.

Mercilessly, Lu Bu kept swinging his halberd. Qidia's body was cut eight times. Every strike sealed and negated her abilities to self-heal and self-resurrect.
Qidia's head shed a tear of regret. The happy smile of Shepherd was the last thing that she thought before her consciousness faded.
Lu Bu glanced at the monster children at a distance. He scoffed and raised his halberd, planning to kill them all.
"Kikikiki!"
The children dispersed. They fled in every direction in fear. Although they had no face or eyes, their cracked voice was the same as a heartbroken child's crying voice.
Hearing their voices, Lu Bu's hands trembled. He closed his eyes and swung down.
BOOM
All 100 children stopped moving. Their bodies split in half, and they collapsed on the ground.
"Hmm."
After murdering the party girl children and two immortals, Lu Bu scoffed and turned around, following his teammates to the B4 floor.

After Party Queen was fully healed, Mao Miaomiao proceeded to the lower floor. The queen also tagged along with the angel. As for Killer Queen, she reverted to the katana form to conserve her energy.
As soon as they arrived, Party Queen's expression distorted in anger. She grabbed Mao Miaomiao and directly teleported to the front of the boss room.
Mao Miaomiao was confused as he was forcefully dragged along. But when his vision was adjusted to the environment, he noticed a trace of negative karma in the air. Moreover, he sensed two immortal soul crystals nearby.
"Kikikiki… (The babies…)"
Party Queen stared at the red ash of Cookie and a hundred corpses of newborn party girls. She carried one of them in her arms.
Although Party Queen had the ability to resurrect her subordinates, she could not sense the links between her and these 100 children. Something cut the ties and her domain power, disallowing her to resurrect these plush toy monsters.

Meanwhile, Mao Miaomiao picked up the soul of Cookie and Qidia. He stored them in his dantian universe for now. Then, he walked toward the children and collected their karma strings.
These children's souls had not been crystalized yet as they hadn't been born for long enough. However, their consciousness and memory were stored in their karma. As long as these karma strings were preserved, they could be reborn, but they wouldn't retain the memory of their previous life.
After collecting the karma strings, Mao Miaomiao walked toward the crying yellow monster. He secretly tied the karma strings with her. In the future, they would be reborn as her subordinates again.
As Party Queen was no longer in a good condition, Mao Miaomiao lightly patted her, consoling her for her losses. She flinched for a moment and resumed crying.
The angel turned around and found the boss room on the B3 floor. He followed the trace of Lu Bu, Wei Cao, and the immortals while he silently cursed them.

Frustrated and angry, Mao Miaomiao jetted toward the stairs to the B4 floor and jumped down. He landed directly on the B4 floor without touching the staircase.
The B4 Level consisted of chained poolrooms – All rooms were connected via waterways, pools, or walkways that were made of white swimming pool tiles. In some of the rooms, the walls and the ceilings were decorated with the same tiles as well. Many large colorful pipes trekked past hundreds of rooms even though they had no purpose for usage.
As soon as Mao Miaomiao landed, his sense discovered the group of intruders 300 meters away! They were three rooms apart.
"LU FENGXIAN!!" Shouted Mao Miaomiao. The voice was so loud that it echoed throughout the level.

Lu Bu turned around as he heard the voice of Mao Miaomiao. He narrowed his eyes and clicked his tongue.
"Mao Miaomiao has caught up. Disperse!"
Wei Cao and the immortal team split up and rushed through the maze of swimming pool rooms. Everybody could sense the chaos seraphim and tried their best to avoid him.
Meanwhile, Lu Bu remained in his place. He waited for his old friend.
Within five seconds, the black-winged angel flew through the maze and was 50 meters in front of Lu Bu. The latter gathered all his elemental essence in his halberd and swung it toward Mao Miaomiao's direction.
CLANK
? Lu Bu's crescent halberd bounced off his hands!
"WHAT?!"
"No weapons or domains in this universe can kill me, fool!"
BOOM
A fist smacked Lu Bu's face from the front. The angel's momentum was so heavy that he dragged Lu Bu along with his fist and slammed him to a wall.
Although the fist broke Lu Bu's nose and cracked his lower forehead skull, Lu Bu calmly grabbed Mao Miaomiao's wrist and squeezed it. He also glanced at the system notification message.

<You have been protected by Antagonist Fate. You're destined to fight Miao Xiaomao in a death match within five hours. You're immune to all fatal damage.>
Lu Bu read the messages and sneered, "You can't kill me, Mao Miaomiao. I'm different now."
"O', really?"
The angel's free hand held the black katana and pierced Lu Bu's neck!
"I don't care what kind of tricks or plot armors you have. But you ain't going nowhere but purgatory! PURGATORY DOMAIN! KQ, eat his Qi!"
"KAKAKAKA! OF COURSE!" The black katana laughed.
The air around Mao Miaomiao and Lu Bu distorted. However, the next moment, Mao Miaomiao received a game notification message.

The katana was ejected from Lu Bu's neck. The latter burst into laughter as his wounds were instantly healed, "As I said, you can't kill me, father."

"Hahaha! If not because of your master Mu-Nyang, I would have been reincarnated as your son. You are fighting for the wrong lord, Miaomiao."

Mao Miaomiao's black wings transformed into a thousand tentacles with blade tips. They turned into grinders, slicing Lu Bu into mincemeat.

The war god's red meat was reattached and regenerated. He came back to life instantly.

The angel sliced off Lu Bu's arms and legs. Then, he punched the war god's stomach, cracking his dantian universe!
No system messages appeared this time. Lu Bu's face was now as white as a sheet.
Mao Miaomiao sneered, "See? There is always a way to crack that stupid plot armor halo no matter how important you are in the sToRyLiNe!"
"I beg to differ, nya."
Suddenly, a large paw broke the dimension and entered the dungeon space. A large cat's nail punctured Mao Miaomiao's back and exited through his chest.
Mao Miaomiao silently looked at the cat's nail. Without looking back, he knew what hit him.
It was from Nian's real body on Earth.
"A senior-coming-to-rescue plot armor, I see. I forgot that Pangu still has you."
From the other side of the dimension, A dozen eyeballs of various sizes peeked through the gap and glared at Mao Miaomiao. The large caracal cat's paw curled and pulled Mao Miaomiao toward the portal.
"Fight someone on your size, nya! I'll teach you a lesson about how it feels to be crushed, nya!"
"Joke's on you. I've been waiting to kill you and Pangu for ages!"
Mao Miaomiao allowed Nian to pull him through the crack of dimensions. After Nian pulled Mao Miaomiao away, the broken dimension was automatically repaired and the gaps were closed.
Seeing that the most dangerous pursuer was dragged away, Lu Bu let out a long heavy sigh. He closed his eyes and concentrated on reattaching his limbs.
'That was close, really close.'
Although Lu Bu managed to survive, his expression was dark.
His dantian was still damaged!
