Jiang Yao had wanted to ask Luo Ruoran how she knew Liang Yueze had a new girlfriend, but before she could speak, they heard the baby’s cries. Luo Ruoran immediately got up and went to the living room to comfort her child.
Jiang Yao felt that she and Luo Ruoran seemed to live in two different worlds. It was as if the two of them knew a different Liang Yueze.
The phone on the table rang and interrupted Jiang Yao’s thoughts. She picked up the phone and only responded when she heard a strange woman asking her questions on the phone.
“I heard that you’ve returned to the country. You’ve already left; why would you still want to return? Did you come back to snatch him from me?”

Jiang Yao was stunned.

The woman’s voice suddenly became sharp. “Since you’ve already left the country, why did you come back? You shouldn’t have come back! Liang Yueze is mine!”
While Jiang Yao was still confused, the woman had already hung up the phone. Jiang Yao looked at the phone in her hand for a few seconds before realizing that she might have picked up Luo Ruoran’s call.
