Chapter 15: Humiliated
Pei Xin was a little stunned.
Ever since she realized that wasn't the daughter of the Pei family, she had been struck down by many people, but Lu Li had never hit her once.
When she woke up that year, Lu Li was standing in front of her with bloodshot eyes. He held her shoulders tightly and asked her who she was with last night.

Wu Ling stuck out her tongue. She knew that there was no need to make Lu Li and Ling Xue unhappy, so she pointed her ammunition at Pei Xin.
She stepped forward and put her arm around Pei Xin's shoulder. "Hey, everyone, quiet down. Ms. Pei has just been released from prison. She deserves to have a toast, right?!"
"Yeah!" Amidst everyone's agreement, Wu Ling handed the wine glass in her hand to Pei Xin. She had a smile on her face and looked at Pei Xin with cunning eyes.
Then, just as Pei Xin was about to helplessly take the wine cup, she raised the wine cup and poured the wine over Pei Xin's head. This series caused a burst of laughter in the room.
"I heard that you're on the market looking for lonely men Pei Xin. Is that true?" A man asked Pei Xin after he was done laughing.
"It must be true! Ms. Pei already has a child, but no matter what, you can't reject the fact that she's a wh*re open for sale!" Wu Ling was still hugging Pei Xin's shoulder as she spoke to the men in the room.
"Hey, Zhao Chen, over here! Didn't you court Pei Xin for almost three years? How about I sell her to you? Free of charge for the first night! She's fresh out of prison!" Gu Su walked to Pei Xin's side and chuckled.
"Get lost! How can I possibly want someone like her?" Zhao Chen looked at the current Pei Xin with disgust.
"Don't be shy. Why don't you take off her clothes and have a good look? Her figure looks pretty good!"
"Yes, yes. Pei Xin, take off your clothes! Show your assets to us. It's not easy for us to bid if you cover up."
"Take it off quickly!"
"Take it off! Take it off!"
Pei Xin heard the filthy words of everyone in the room and her face gradually turned pale.
When one person jabs at another, it was considered bullying. However, when a group of people band together to bully another, it was seen as righting the injustice.
Ling Xue sat in a high seat, watching all of this with a faint smile on her lips.
Lu Li stood beside her expressionless.
"Alright, Ling Xue, that's enough fun. Let's go back to the hospital, or else your parents will be worried."
Ling Xue looked at Lu Li innocently and smiled sweetly, "I knew it! You really do care about me!"
Lu Li smiled and patted her head. "Like I said, I brought her home because I need her to reach the standard health for surgery."
"I'm sorry. I was being petty." Ling Xue pouted her lips, looking extremely aggrieved. "Baby, I'm not feeling well. It's time for me to leave."
Everything that happened today was just Lu Li trying to prove his loyalty to his fiance.
The two of them walked to the door hand in hand. When they passed by Pei Xin, Ling Xue deliberately stopped and smiled brightly. She looked at Pei Xin sincerely and said, "Happy birthday, Pei Xin!"
Then, she held onto Lu Li's hand and walked out of the room.
After Lu Li and Ling Xue left the room, Pei Xin got up and planned to follow them. The main character of the birthday party was no longer here, so there was no need for her to stay.
However, she was stopped by Wu Ling and Gu Su.
