Chapter 920 Chapter 920 Another Old Man

"This place is as silent as a grave." Clark commented while they were in the way deeper into the Coiling Dragon Sect.

Even with the great disturbance that happened outside, no other soul came to confront our very own protagonist.

This aspect was one of the many indications that this sect has indeed fallen far from its heyday. The pair of master and maidservant continued unimpeded.

"Welcome, Fellow Daoist! How can this old man help you today?" A pale faced old man barred the way. His unhealthy countenance was quite obvious even to the naked eyes of Shen Xiaodie.

"I bring medicine to your ailment. It is i that is about to render you aid. But... for an equal price of course. There is no free lunch in this world after all." Clark replied with a shrug.

Since he had need of this place, the decision of this old man really did not matter at all. He was here and so he shall conquer if the situation called for it.

"And if i refuse?" The pale faced old man queried. This old man was no one else but the Sect Master of this place.

Truth be told, he and the rest of his people had already closed this sect out from the world because of his impending death.

Many disciples left and all that had chosen to remain were all the loyal cultivators that stayed true to the sect that had nurtured them in strength from start to finish.

This old man had no choice in the matter also since he knew that he did not have long to live on this earth.

"Only bad things happen to those that dared defy my will. I advise you not to pick this path." Clark tried to convince the old man but said no more.

"..." The pale faced old man was silent for a time. He was weighing his choices and possible alternatives to every decision.

There was a little voice inside him that wanted to resist this open conquest but he knew that that would only leave him to an instant death.

He had witnessed how this nameless daoist had easily destroyed his gatekeeper before.

The particular technique used was of a divine sense that could only be possessed by someone who has reached the cultivation base of Supreme Nirvana Realm.

A lowly junior like him could absolutely not compare to such a godly person.

This old man realized that this mortal body and appearance that our bored gamer wielded was nothing but a mere cover to his nigh omnipotent power.

"Hah..." The old man released a deep breath that he realized he was holding for far too long.

"Please guide me with your wish... master. My only plea is that you do not harm the disciples of my sect. Let them go since their only crime is to remain faithful in this humble abode."

The pale faced old man said and knelt in place according to his words. His head was bowed low until his forehead reached the ground thereafter.

There was no bigger show of subservience other than this present picture.

"DING!" A mighty force landed upon the back of this pale faced old man. He tried to escape but there was no power in this world that could help him at this time.

Thus, he remained deeply planted on the pit that surrounded his form.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The old man roared in pain when he felt that bones, flesh, and very blood seemed to burn from the inside.

He was quite experienced in his old age but never has he undergone such a demonic kind of pain in his life. The agony continued until he thought he would go crazy with the torture.

Fortunately enough, the intensity of the suffering would diminish long enough for him to recover and then a new round of torment would then arrive to kill all the tiny bit of relief he enjoyed.

This seemed to went on for hours but in truth, no more than 10 minutes had elapsed in real time.

"HAK!"

"HAK!"

"HAK!" The old man coughed out black liquid matter and the place it landed melted in consequence.

It did not need telling that whatever that thing was, it was never a good one in the first place. A full minute later and the old man could finally gather his thoughts once more.

It has not taken him long to realize what had happened to himself.

"BOOM!" Another fresh pit was created as the forehead of the old man crushed stone and soil on his path.

"This unworthy junior thanks you, master! From now on, Meng Hui's life is now yours to command!"

The old man who was currently the sect master of the Coiling Dragon Sect vowed to the heavens.

One should know that this old man's illness has not only been removed but he has also achieved a new realm that he thought he would not be able to see in this life.

He definitely did not want to lose sight of this benevolent patron who came from out of the blue.

"Go summon everyone in the sect. Huge changes await us all." Our bored gamer said simply.

"This junior obeys!" Sect Master Meng Hui complied excitedly and vanished from his spot thereafter. A brief second had made him appear in everyone's eyes.

It should be noted that the old man was no longer old but was now a man who looked not a day older than 18. He was back to his handsome self once more.

"THUD!"

"THUD!"

"THUD!" Clark began walking forward with a destination in mind already.

"..." The same could not be said to Shen Xiaodie who was still rooted on the spot. To say that she was shocked was an understatement of the ages.

She chastised herself for vastly underestimating this mysterious young man.

She knew that our good gamer was strong because of how her father treated him but she honestly has not expected that he was this kind of strong.

"Master Clark! Please wait!" Shen Xiaodie called at the slowly vanishing back of our very own protagonist.

All signs of her haughty attitude was nowhere to be seen from this moment forward.
