Chapter 884 Chapter 884 Miracle

"Boss, i have urgent news to report." A minor villain bowed deeply unto a sickly looking young boy.

This person was on a wheelchair and appeared to be coming in and out of unconsciousness but the moment his eyes refocused into being, the glint of extreme intelligence could be seen from his multicolored windows of the soul.

There was a tinge of gold, fire, and silver inside those 2 orbs. The minor villain trembled in place. He did not have the heart to look at those intimidating objects in the scene.

"Report then as you must." The boss boy replied in an eerie voice. His words did not match his exterior age at all since they lack any shade of innocence or naivety at all.

"Mr. Woods is found dead in the city of Smithers, boss. He's been cut into pieces." The minor villain said. He then presented vivid copies of the scene of death.

The stack of images from his hands flew out into the air and landed before the prying eyes of the sickly looking young boss.

"A proficient assassin who is good with blades. Mr. Woods could not even react to the onslaught. Send Mr. Green to the find the culprit. Let Mr. Jacobs come with him."

The villainous boss ordered.

"Copy that, boss!" The minor minion exclaimed. He got up and ran away like the devil was on his heels.

It was obvious that he did not want to stay one second more in the presence of the strongest member of the Mythical Alliance.

It did not need telling that this weak looking young boy was indeed an infamous legend in the circle of villains.

One week later and one could see that our bored gamer was enjoying his time under the sun. He was not alone of course since his girlfriend Aubrey was there to keep him company.

They were in a beach and sexy ladies abound in full. Still, Clark's eyes remained focus on the love of his life in this world.

Aubrey was out there with her workmates in the hospital and they were having fun and taking photographs left and right.

There were also male friends out there for Aubrey but our good gamer was not one to get jealous easy. He was not an immature child with confidence issues whatsoever.

Clark respected that Aubrey had a life of her own outside of their relationship.

"DING!"

"DING!"

"DING!" A funny cell phone ringtone renegaded our avid gamer's introspection and he answered it before the 3rd breath could elapsed.

"BEEP!" A familiar sound came but Clark remained silent all throughout. A great pause later, an old voice then arrived from the other line.

"It is done. I've completed the formula." A weary aged man spoke with no joy whatsoever.

It could be derived from this fact alone that he was more than tired of this life and yet he still retained a strong hope of clinging unto it.

There were many things more to do and myriad research to be completed. But before any of those could happen, he needed to extend his longevity in the first place.

His only hope for getting some of that was of course our very own protagonist.

"Well done, Doctor." Clark replied with this one line alone and proceeded to avail to the nearest bathroom he could find. He entered one and never got out again for a few minutes.

It did not need telling that he was already somewhere else in the first minute alone.

Doctor Mastermind Hideout. This was the place where our bored gamer came to in the interval between pleasure and business.

"You look like a mess, Doctor." Clark greeted his able slave. The years had taken a great toll on this old man. Without any outside interference then this doctor should have long been dead.

Luckily for him, he had used most of his time in the twilight of his years to find a cure to aging.

"This is all thanks to you." Doctor Mastermind shook his head in acceptance. He had tried many times to escape from our good gamer's grasp but only pain awaited him every time.

It did not take a couple of tries to set him straight unto the correct path where Clark wanted him to tackle. And today marked the culmination of their deal.

The formula was finally completed. This wise doctor could only hope that our avid gamer would hold his end of the deal.

"I'm dying." Doctor Mastermind stated frankly. If everything remained as it was, he could not reach the last month of the year and still breath.

"Aren't we all?" Clark asked a rhetorical question. His eyes roamed at the small vial of liquid beside the dying doctor. This was the only thing that he had come here in the first place.

"Is that it? The drug of the ages? Something that could control even the strongest heroes on this planet?" Our bored gamer asked once more.

He stepped closer until he was merely within reach of the miracle drug.

"The subject has to ingest it to take effect. You've only given me a few samples of supernatural people so i cannot promise anything. Stronger heroes may not be too susceptible to its effect."

Doctor Mastermind crushed all the hopes of our good gamer to smithereens. Nevertheless, this truth has not affected Clark at all. It was not as if he was expecting perfection from the get go.

"This much is more than enough for now, Doctor." Our bored gamer grinned as he could now finally start his next step of the plan.

He took hold of the cute vial that has a dark liquid as its contents and inspected it for a few close breaths. When he was done, the priceless product disappeared from view.

The thing has now entered the limitless inventory within his system cheat.

"Since you have done your part then i have no choice but to deliver true on my promise. Well done, Doctor.

Don't you worry one bit because i shall have you live until you would wish that you would die a quick death in the end." Clark said and he too vanished from the spot.
