Chapter 185: Stay Away From Jiaojiao

Quan Jue straightened his back and turned to look at him.

Xu Ye walked briskly over to Quan Jue and stood in front of him. Then, he raised his fist and threw it at Quan Jue’s face.

Quan Jue tilted his head slightly and grabbed Xu Ye’s fist.

The man in black sitting in the car saw that someone had attacked Quan Jue. He was about to open the car door when he saw Quan Jue shaking his finger at him, signaling him to mind his own business.

“Your skills have improved.” Xu Ye’s eyes were filled with hostility as he stared coldly at Quan Jue.

“You’re still the same as before. All brawn and no brains.” Quan Jue released his fist and looked at him indifferently. “It just so happens that I want to talk to you, too. Stay away from Jiaojiao.”

Xu Ye laughed. “Why should I?”

“She doesn’t like you,” Quan Jue said firmly.

His answer hurt a little, but Xu Ye still maintained his smile. “Who are you to tell me all this? What do Jiaojiao’s feelings toward me have anything to do with you? To put it nicely, you’re Jiaojiao’s older brother. To put it crudely, you’re just the adopted son of the Chi Family. You’re not worthy to be Jiaojiao’s older brother. What right do someone like you have to control me?”

“Who told you that I’m Jiaojiao’s older brother?” Quan Jue smirked and looked at him provocatively. “Jiaojiao is mine.”

If Xu Ye really still didn’t understand the relationship between him and Chi Jiao after hearing that, then he must really be all brawn and no brains.

Xu Ye was taken aback as he stood rooted to the spot.

The images of Quan Jue and Chi Jiao sitting together flashed across his mind. When the two of them were conversing, the atmosphere had been really ambiguous. They didn’t look like proper siblings at all.

“You bastard!!” Xu Ye snapped back to his senses and flew into a rage. He charged at Quan Jue again.

This time, his fist landed firmly on Quan Jue’s lips.

“Why didn’t you f*cking dodge?!” Xu Ye gritted his teeth and roared at him.

Quan Jue licked the blood off the corner of his lips and said expressionlessly, “Let’s consider that punch as settling our old scores.”

Xu Ye suddenly felt as if his acupoint had been hit as he couldn’t make a sound. His fists hanging by his side trembled.

Quan Jue didn’t say anything else. He opened the car door and got in.

Xu Ye only came back to his senses when the car started to drive away.

“F*ck!” Xu Ye kicked a stone as he stared at the black car speeding away. “You want to repay your old debt with just that? Dream on!”

The heater was switched on inside the car.

Quan Jue took a clean tissue and wiped the blood from the corner of his lips.

Xu Ye’s punch had split his lips.

Thinking of what Chi Jiao’s reaction would be like when she saw the wound on his lips, Quan Jue suddenly regretted letting Xu Ye punch him.

“Young Master, are you going back to the residence that Sir has arranged for you?” Quan San asked him.

“No, I’m going back to where I used to live,” Quan Jue said lightly.

When Quan San recalled that Quan Jue had rented a flat in a dilapidated, old neighborhood, he frowned. “If Sir knows that Young Master is living in that kind of place, he will definitely be unhappy.”

Before Quan Jue acknowledged his roots, he believed that Sir wouldn’t have cared where he lived.

But it was different now.

He had regained his identity as the Young Master of the Quan Family. Every action he made represented the family’s face.

“Let him be.” Quan Jue leaned against the back seat and closed his eyes.

Quan San’s lips twitched.

Young Master Quan Jue is the first person to disregard Sir.
