Tianming had no idea what kind of place Myriadpath Valley was, but it probably wasn't inside the Xenoabyss. He couldn't be sure of the capabilities of the woman in front of him, but she should at least be a cosmic cartographer. Given my current level, it's pretty dangerous for me to be here. Right as he was about to speak, the purple-haired girl glared at him and said, "Scram."
Tianming swallowed his words. Testing his luck, he said, "Lady, I don’t wish to fight."
"This is my territory, so you should scram! If you're too slow and get killed, don't blame me," she said, glaring at him with her dark purple eyes.
Tianming felt quite miffed. He looked at her eyes and was shocked to find something. "Xeno fatigue?
He couldn't be quite sure as the symptoms of the fatigue on her were quite weird. It wasn't like Aunt Hua's sickness or Mister Gu's initial symptoms. He could tell that xeno fatigue had spread throughout her body. The symptoms had been there for quite some time, yet she still looked really young. If it weren’t for his Order Relic, Tianming wouldn't even be able to tell!
In fact, he felt that the xeno fatigue was somehow being suppressed, resulting in the odd changes. Aunt Hua and Qi Xuan's fatigue vortices were located near their foreheads, while the girl had ten or so of them on her forehead, limbs, and torso. The fact that her body still seemed young and vigorous despite all that was quite a miracle.
"What did you say?" She had heard him muttering about her fatigue.
"Nothing." Tianming shook his head and waved. "It's a misunderstanding. Apologies and farewell!" He wasn't worried about the divine wonder being taken. After all, if it were that easy, it would have been gone a few years after it had been left there.
"Stop!" It seemed like the girl had been keeping the fact that she had been afflicted a secret. She charged toward Tianming right as he was about to leave.
"So fast!" It was as if she was faster than Li Fan. In that instant, Tianming drew his sword and split it in two. Before he had time to use his totems' simulacrum, he executed Flowerfall Flow with the black sword and Duostrike Sandglass with the gold sword. Sword intent of space and time blended together with the girl's punches, the explosive force of which sent Tianming flying off and tumbling on the ground, yet he was too shocked to feel the pain.
"Five cosmic charts! She's a fifth-level cosmic cartographer!" She was much more powerful than Li Fan and could easily snuff Tianming out. "No! Her attack wasn't as powerful as Li Fan's. The fatigue must be affecting her."
Tianming was much more relieved when he noticed that fact. He looked up and saw traces of blood on her hands, which should be basically nothing. However, he found that her regeneration was much slower than Li Fan's due to xeno fatigue.
"How could an orderan be so powerful?" The girl approached him step after step, watching him the entire time.
By then, Tianming had all his totems out and infused in his swords. His lifebound beasts were also ready. "Lady, there's no need for us to fight. We have no grudges with each other. I can leave right now."
"How could you tell with a glance that I had xeno fatigue?" she asked.
Just as Tianming was about to respond, Yin Chen told him that someone else was coming, and the sounds were much louder than before. The girl also noticed them. The two of them backed off and saw two specters nearly eight hundred meters tall appear in the dark corner ahead. When they discovered the purple-haired girl, they shrank to around ten meters, which was still gigantic to Tianming.
"Antiquiteans?" These two people had scorpion-like tails with a snake head at the end. They weren't exactly uncommon in the capital.
"Jia Su, Yi Wan," the girl said.
Tianming only just realized that they were both cosmic cartographers, though he couldn't be certain what level. The two had obviously come for the girl. While he was curious about her, he wasn't going to lose his life just like that. He planned to leave as they stared each other down.
"Yi Wan, don't let that outworlder run! They usually have a lot of treasures!" said the male antiquitean. Tianming was speechless.
All of a sudden, a ten-meter-tall antiquitean with a bombshell figure appeared behind Tianming. Fortunately, she only had one cosmic chart. For them to dare to fight a fifth-level cosmic cartographer must mean they know that she has xeno fatigue! The specters were so fast that the one called Yi Wan easily caught up to Tianming. Dammit, do you think I'm weak just because I didn't try to kill you?! Tianming turned around and suddenly countered at full force!
While his totems were inside his sword and didn't form a sword formation, they still packed a punch that would increase the damage done against single targets. The antiquitean girl wielded a spear and also fought with her whip-like tail. The snake head seemed to be where their souls resided.
Tianming felt a stiffness spread through his body the moment his eyes met the snake's; it was some kind of weird ability. The power of order seemed to petrify and dim his astrons! Fortunately, he had the Order Relic, which allowed him to rejuvenate his energy in an instant, letting him unleash the combined strike of all three murals. The specter panicked when a strike of such force seemed to suddenly overpower her abilities!
"Forget it, I'll leave right after I kill her!" With the number of people increasing, it would be hard to claim the divine wonder. The entire place was incredibly dangerous and he only had a month left. Thus, he didn't hesitate and used all he had on Yi Wan.
