Chapter 2710 - Seventh Astral Phase

Tianming would tell Mister Gu the truth once he had the order fragments and had left Commonsky City. If the specter learned that he was fully recovered, he wouldn't be in a rush to get his revenge. Not to mention, the city wasn't the best place for that, anyway. Plus, Tianming didn’t want someone he saved to be rushing to his death right away.

Mister Gu glared at him with wide eyes. "Even if it's temporary, your ability is completely unprecedented in the history of the Xenoabyss. No wonder you were so careful. If this is revealed, you'll be in a dangerous position."

"That's right. That's why I hope you'll be able to keep this a secret. Let's help each other out, shall we?" Tianming said.

Mister Gu gave him a deep look and nodded. "Very well." He went on to inspect his body and didn't feel a single trace of xeno fatigue in him, apart from some light fatigue. It truly felt wondrous. "This is unthinkable...."

Eventually, his gaze turned bloodshot, not toward Tianming but toward his arch nemesis. If he had one chance he could use to kill someone, he would use it on the crook who’d killed his daughter. He casually tossed the order fragments to Tianming. "If I fail, how do I reach out to you?"

"Use this transmission stone."

"Alright! Is the price for the next time still two order fragments?"

"Since you're my first customer, I won't raise the price. Two order fragments it is."

"Very well! I'll look for them." He was probably going to sell some things to procure more order fragments, but Tianming didn't stop him. He wanted to keep Mister Gu on edge so that he would keep the secret.

"Farewell, Mister Gu." Tianming left with a smile now that the transaction was complete.

......

When Tianming got back to the Sun, he immediately started cultivating. His first priority was to get rid of his two pursuers, so he decided to advance to the seventh astral phase. As such, he wouldn't be sharing these order fragments with Wudi, who already cultivated fast enough with Flameyellow Bloodsoul. The order fragments slightly differed in shape, but they were mostly hexagonal. One had a black heart shape on the surface, while the other had a pink one.

"Order fragments get less effective the more they help with growth, but I'm still far from that point." He consumed the two fragments immediately, causing his six streams of order to rapidly advance. As there were far too many streams of order, he would need more and more order fragments to get a significant boost.

"I should be able to reach the seventh astral phase!"

That marked the start of the latter half of the Order stage. It was a humongous change in cultivation. Not only would his body grow stronger, the power of his orders would trigger a resonance between him and the world around him, allowing him to channel even more nova source and xeno source in battle! His energy capacity, a huge weakness he had compared to others, would also be greatly improved.

"The order fragments are really effective." He almost didn't want to leave Commonsky City at all. "The city’s right there, but the capital is still far away. If I want to rapidly grow, I think I should stay there. Then again, there might be even better things waiting for me in the capital. Not to mention, that's the only way for me to reach the Ancient Oldgod Domain...." Two days had passed since he’d stabilized his breakthrough. "Fine, I'll check out the situation in the city first!"

Chen Yin and Jiang Yong had been quite an annoyance to Tianming. "It's about time I got my little black tower back."

Tianming brought large numbers of Yin Chen with him, along with his other beasts. After bidding goodbye to Feiling, he entered the Xenoabyss once more. Once he passed through the sea of white clouds, he found himself back in Commonsky City.

The moment he entered, he felt two gazes upon him. Turning around, he saw Chen Yin and Jiang Yong. Jiang Yong was playing with the small black tower, and Chen Yin approached and lowered his head to stare. "What's up? Did you finish counting your soulstones? How many days can you still stay here?"

"As always, we have time to spare," said the shorter Jiang Yong, snickering.

"Hahahaha!" Their expressions were truly vile. They were having fun messing around with Tianming.

"Nope, you really don't have much time remaining," Tianming calmly said.

"Oh? Pray tell, then. Why do you say that?" Chen Yin asked.

"That's because...." Tianming smirked and flew towards the gate of Commonsky City.

"Follow him. I bet he's completely terrified."

"If we don't take his life, we won't be able to show ourselves before Mu Ying's elder brother."

The two of them gave chase, haunting Tianming to no end. However, that was exactly what he wanted. Commonsky City was too large, so it took a few days to reach the gate. He quickly finished paying the fees he owed and immediately left the city. Chen Yin and Jiang Yong were completely unprepared for that and froze.

"Quick, chase him! He's going to get away!" To make sure they didn't lose Tianming, they paid the fees to the beast-headed guards without waiting for change. All three of them were outside, where killing was allowed. Tianming sat on Meow Meow's back, his hair and robes ominously fluttering in the wind. He wielded the Grand-Orient Sword, radiating intense killing intent from his eyes. Before that, he reached out to Mister Gu and asked, "Have you carried out your revenge?"

"I'm going to go now. I feel much better," Mister Gu said.

"Don't go," Tianming said.

"What do you mean?!" Mister Gu hissed.

"I was messing with you."

"You?!" Mister Gu raged at first, but he came to doubt it. He really did feel fine now. How could that have been a trick?

"I'm talking about the time limit. You aren't just temporarily recovered, you're recovered for good. I'm leaving Commonsky, so I'm not worried about you coming to threaten me. Out of the kindness of my heart, I'm telling you that you'll have more than enough time to carry out your revenge in the future without having to rush it. You don't have to force yourself to do it in Commonsky. Also, for your own safety, make sure to never reveal to other people that you used to be afflicted with the fatigue." Tianming crushed the transmission stone when he finished. Mister Gu was completely frozen and slumped to the ground of his shop.

"Holy shit, I've had enough!" Tianming got Meow Meow to stop immediately and turned back. Seeing the two crooks amidst the yellow sand, he charged in, eyes filled with murderous intent.

"Huh?!" Chen Yin and Jiang Yong were stunned, then smiled at their golden opportunity.
